Hello!
I've been trying to flash my HTC Desire HD, but when I try to install a ROM using ROM Manager or the recovery manager I just get this picture:
XDA anti-spam is preventing me from posting image, go to: tinyurl.com/htcerror
Phone is perm rooted with VisioNary+
What to do?

how did fix it i have the same problem but during flashing the official upgrade some ass hole removed the battery
device is s-on and previous software not rooted .

never mind i solved it with ruu , the device was S-off ,and unlocked bootloader

I've got a HTC One S (VilleC2). Recently, I re-locked the bootloader and get the OTA update for ICS 4.0.4 with Sense 4.1 update. Can anyone show me the way to root the phone after that OTA update?

Unlock the bootloader,flash twrp 2.2.1 recovery and then flash superSu 0.96

Ok...Im sure this thread is just gonna piss someone off...but i dont seem to be able to fix this. att one x ics 4.0.4 rooted, unlocked, twrp 2.3.1 boot loop...wipe cache, dalvik, system, formatted sd, tried to install several different roms some said successful others not...same result though...also flashed twrp a couple times...Ive been working on this for 13 hrs straight and i really need some help...thanx in advance
update...found kernel, installed that and rom...same boat...any help is much appreciated
If your Hboot it 1.14 or higher you have to flash the kernel separate to boot.

Did you flash the boot.img after the rom installed?
Hi, everybody, my HTC One X AT&T there is CID WS_001 and I had supper cid to 11111111,HBOOT 2.14, Firmware 3.18 (Android 4.1.1),installed Recovery, Root, S-OFF, so I can flash rom 4.2.2 OTA is not? someone please just help.:victory:

Don't flash the OTA update, your phone is modified so it at best case won't work, worst case will brick your phone. You can flash any of the 4.2.2 ROMs in our development section.

Hboot- 2.18.000
Cid-1111
Radio- 1.35.32.45.27
1. Can I able to update it to the Latest RUU- 5.18.502.1 ?? Downloaded from HTC site, Am not using at&t SIM...
2. Can I able to update it to insertcoin Rom?? Do I need to flash boot.img file?? Because I tied to install this Rom...got struck at HTC logo!!!
I like BlinkFeed app......but in viperXL Rom it's not there....
So please give me ur valuable suggestions

Yes. U can run ruu if u are s off..and you don't have to flash via fastboot if you're s off
Thanks.. I tried without fastboot mode... Couldn't load either... While installing around 70%. Comes then suddenly it disappeared.and goes to recovery mode.
Then I restarted it struck at logo
I checked nd5 sum also..it's good...

Listen here. I never once mentioned the type of ROM he wants to flash. I told him that its ok to flash ruu as he's s off.. Its not bad advice. Now if I said "hell yea..flash that insert coin ROM, you would have a valid point.
You told him he doesn't need to flash the boot.img using fastboot, which in turn means he can flash the ROM via TWRP. The point is that you didn't pick up on the fact that this ROM isn't for this device and continued to instruct him on how to flash it. You're the one who isn't properly analysing situations before posting advice, not me, so it's on your head when something bad happens, I'm just trying to save you from bricking someone's phone.

Yeah, like I said, that ROM isn't for our phone. You got it from the HTC One X (Endeavoru) forum which isn't your phone. You need to stay within the HTC One XL (Evita) section and only download your ROMs from there.

If you don't see anything wrong with the advice you've been giving to people then please continue, I've done my best to try and help the situation, but you clearly can't handle being told you're doing something wrong even when you're actually doing something wrong. It's your call and it's on your head when something goes wrong, just be prepared to fork out a few hundred.

Currently am on ViperXL 4.2.0 Rom
Am experiencing battery drain issue and
mobile data isssue like data shows '3G' no internet connection..only in 'H' am getting internet...
Am searched some threads but no use...
Tried to change the mode to gsm only then LET... No use...
So can you please give me ur suggestions

Asking which ROM is best/most stable/fastest/prettiest, or asking for a suggestion isn't allowed so I can't answer that, here's why. To say one ROM is better is to infer that the others are inferior in some way. This is disrespectful to the devs who spend their spare time bringing us these awesome ROMs free of charge. Each user has different tastes anyway, the best way to see which ROM suits you is to flash a few and find out for yourself.
But, you know that 'H' is better than '3g', right? So having that connection is better than having a 3g connection.
