Hello everyone!
I was thinking to erase the note and go back to factory setting.
How can I do this?
I want to erase all the apps I installed and all the settings.
I want to make it the same way it was from factory.
Any help very appreciate.
Cheers!

Is there another way to do a REAL clean startup?
The following website shows how to do a hard reset. Dont know how accurate it is though. Look towards the bottom of the page, it gives u a star(*) and hash(#) code you can type in.

*2767*3855#
everything will be revirth back to the original shipped configuration...
beware... everything you installed will be deleted

Hi i dont know if its just me but i was doing somethin with system app but for some reason i gets wrong and i dont have a nandroid backup yet so i decide to factory reset all goes ok but when i finishes setting up the account and language i got an error its says unfortunately setup wizard has stopped, but lucky i enter playstore and install apex and all its ok so the app wich let me do that was google search but after factory reset i didnt have it so i installed from play store and make it a system app with titanium, is this ok or not, i fell a bit slower the device jeje or nothing happens with this conversion of a user app to a system app? sorry for my english
Well, actually a factory reset is nothing more than deleting the user's data. Files which are stored in the system partition stay untouched. So your modification is still present even after "factory resetting".
Best thing you can do to totally reset it: Download the latest (4.4.2) factory image for "hammerhead" (=Nexus 5 codename) from Google and flash it. It contains all partitions and resets them to it's original state There are tutorials out there on how to flash a factory image
Oh but thats all i did just uninstalled google search and backup with TB but for some reason it doesnt let me to restore it so i have to do the factory reset! but now i installed as a system app is there a big problem with touching that app?=?
Okay, let me summarize what you did:
1) You messed around with system apps.
2) You don't have a Nandroid-Backup - so you choose to factory reset your phone <- Which actually doesn't revert your modifications since the "system" partition remains untouched.
3) You set up your phone again but the system wizard keeps crashing.
4) You installed Apex Launcher and it fixed this problem.
5) Google Search isn't available after the factory reset, so you download it from Play Store and make it a system app.
6) Now your system feels slower in general.
--> Is that correct?
If yes, what exactly do you want to have now? Reset your phone like it was on the first day?
And why did you touch system apps at all? What did you want to modify?
Greets,

Google now stopped working thats why i touch google search jeje

I can only recommend to completely reset your phone by factory image. Trust me, it will remove all your problems!
does anyone know how to root an app's settings? ..I mean I moved an app to system app in my root celphone so it can survive a factory reset but the problem is after a factory reset the system app lose the settings, is there any tutorial to move an app to system apps app with setting that will survive a factory reset of my cellphone?....(I know is posible becouse Avast Anti-theft survives factory reset with settings)..help please

Nope, not me. Tried wiping the cache or a factory reset?
Not by wiping cache.... I should do factory reset.
Or clearing settings data.
I think it's because of Restore data app with helium. I certainly forgot uncheck parameter data save...
You certainly have to take care wich apps to restore with Helium.
I for instance had Google to take care of restoreing from previous phone and restored from helium only a few important ones with high scores of last minute.
Google already did a fine job.
Send from my Asus ZenPad 8.0 S using xda-developers mobile app
With Factory Reset, it doesn't work... strange....
Any way to reinstall system ?
I didn't find solution for my problem so I found workaround to enable some parameter that I need... if it can help someone.
To enable unknown source with adb shell :
settings put secure install_non_market_apps 1
To enable hdb for HiSuite with adb shell :
settings put system hdb_enabled 1
after I don't kwnow whare are the other parameters
Hey all, I will be gifting my S7 and I want to make sure it's clean of my stuff, my phone number info, mail, apps, etc and in new/ready shape for the new family owner. It's a SU rooted G930S with G955F software, 7.0.
In all these years I have not needed to fully reset a phone.
Please, what do you all think is the best way to get this done?
First of all, go to Settings -> Accounts and log out of all accounts you were logged into. Open your browser and go to your Google account or simply click here. Click on your S7 then click the Remove button and confirm.
Go back to your phone's Settings and type Reset to search for the menu. Select Factory Reset. It should then reboot your phone. Enter your recovery mode and do a cache-dalvik-Data wipe. Reboot once again and upon starting it should be at the Welcome/Select language screen. Power off the phone, and you're done.
