Sorry i posted here but i wasn't allowed to post in the threads in the dev forum yet cuz im new. Anyways trying to get root on 2.2 and the one of the first steps is to download this file

Here is the official ATT update link and instructions for the Captivate Android 2.2 OS. I searched and did not come across any threads with the actual driect link, only references, so here it is!

I saw mention of this in other forums but no working links that matched mines as posted. could you please provide the link to your source reference?

Hello everyone,
Can someone please point me to a stock 4.24.651.1 rom? I need to get my phone back to stock. I rooted with unrevoked. I can only find odex or deodex (sorry if wrong) versions. I would like the original unrroted version if it is out there. Please, I have searched and just cant find what I am looking for. Even just a point in the right direction would help as I just can figure this out!!

I tried that and followed that video already. I cant find the stock rom that is not rooted and some of the info I found there seemed out of date with a rom that was to old to use according to my phone. Im sorry if this is the wrong section. Im not sure shere to post. I thought this would be the appropriate section since I found a lot of ROM stuff here. I would be happy to post elsewhere if I knew the right place to post.

Keep in mind, if you are rooted, you will lose it. If you install any of the 4.2 ones you wont be able to root it again until they come up with one.

I don't bother fighting the wrong forums, not searching, etc anymore. It's not worth the effort and XDA mods don't really care anymore, especially with the EVO becoming a budget phone.
I know I am a noob on here and that is why I cannot post in the development forum. But I am in need of the a file from leapinlar whom I cannot get in contact with. The thread is below and the file is NookHDplus-factory-2.1.0-plain-stock.zip The link to the file is http://d-h.st/Y2X and no matter what I do, the download does not work. Is this a problem on my end or is the link bad now?

I had some issues on the page also, I had luck with this: http://fs1.d-h.st/download/00043/Y2X/NookHDplus-factory-2.1.0-plain-stock.zip
It's slow and I'm not sure it's any more reliable but I got the download dialog a few times.

Finally decided to root and install Cyanogenmod on my A700. I've already unlocked the bootloader, but the link to Vorbeth's Easyroot gives a 404. There was another link posted, but it also is unavailable. If anyone could give me another link to it, I'd greatly appreciate it!!

I was looking into custom roms for my P5100 and I wanted to try Pac Rom but when I went to click on the download links it came up with 404 Error I believe the links might be down does anyone have a mirror link to the zip file? Was really looking forward to trying this rom out. Im unable to ask in the main forum for this rom cause I haven yet posted 10 posts.
