[APP] Apps to Phone, v1 released

I've just released a new application onto the Android Market if anyone would like to try it. I really apreciate your feedback !
The application is "Apps to Phone" and the purpose is to simplify the install process on your phone. In other words the appliction will receive messages from androlicious.com and start the install process.
The steps required are:
1. Download & Install "Apps to Phone" application from Android Market
2. Start the application and connect your phone with Androlicious website
3. From the website go to an application details page and click on "Send To Phone"
The application doesn't install anything without user permission, I find this more safe than other solutions even if this requires an extra step.
(The application only works if you have Android 2.2 or later)

v1.0
Initial version
Tried this, but it just opens the market with the app you select on the site. I guess Auto-Installer is not working. Any ideas?

For the moment this is the main functionality, is just to simplify the install process so you don't have to search the app from the phone. Just go to a website, browse and send apps to phone.
I'm aware of the auto install (like the app from app brain) ...but that is a "hack" not a solution. Google already released some updates and that solution doesn't work anymore.
The auto feature will be included only if that solution is official and supported by the Android API.
thanks for feedback
Okay nice. One more request, probably a long shot but worth asking. I believe 2.2 introduced C2DM which is what is used by these types of apps. Is it possible to use the C2DM API to push apk files on a PC to a phone and auto-install them?
I believe not. Through C2DM it is recommended to send short messages only, like a notification. The application, based on the message received can perform actions, like downloading files from a URL...
The problem with the auto-install is that you need a special permission for installing packages, but that permission is only available for system apps. For the moment only one solution exists for auto-install, and that is to trick the Google Talk service to start the installation...
Ooh okay. Thanks. Good luck for Androlicious and let us know when auto-install feature becomes available

FB SDK: newly app installed users who are my friends on FB do not show in app

Hi friends,
Could you please advise on this?
We are coding an Android app that has their users login via Facebook (SDK v[4,5)). Our app requests only the user_friends permission, after which, it is supposed to display a listing of their current FB friends, that have our application also installed.
For obvious UX purposes, the login screen is displayed only upon fresh install; any subsequent app launches check for the login state and skip that screen if logged in. This is done using the following snippet:
if(AccessToken.getCurrentAccessToken()!=null){
// skip
}else{
// show login button, request the user_friends permission
}
My friend (#1) and I have installed the app, since we had been friends and FB already, we saw each other in the listing as expected. So far, so good.
The problem started to occur when we added a new friend (#2) on FB afterwards and had him install the app. - Out of the box, me and #1 cannot see #2 in our listings, #2 cannot see us - In the Graph API Explorer (logged in as me, new token generated), I can see #2, but NOT #1.
So we check (Log.i()) the user-access token that our app uses and it turns out, it stays the same for days. If I uses that specific token in the Graph API Explorer, I see only #1 listed, just like the app would show.
Logging out and logging back in (reinstalling app or using a newly-added logout button) fixes the listing (with a token generated AFTER #2 granted user_friends to the app), but this has to be done on existing apps every time a new user is friended on FB and installs the app, which is bad for UX.
Also, meanwhile I changed my name on FB (only order) and our app does not refresh it either, I can see my name in app the same as when I have installed the app to my phone for the first time. Reinstalling the app and re-logging in app does not solve this, it only helps to display new friends that have newly installed the app.
Moreover I want to be able to refresh the friends listing in onResume, not just when the app is launched, but the token seems stuck in the past.
Any help on this???
MAYBE - Is there a way to force-reset the user-access token without bothering the user with a login/grant-permission prompt?
Guys, any help much appreciated, as we cannot move on a step, it is so crucial. Thank you

[HOW-TO] Methods To Fix Notifications (So Far)

Welcome to my guide on methods to fix notifications on the nubia x.
This guide is all the methods i and others nubia x users have found to fix notifications on the nubia x. Btw these methods have been used on my nubia x which is on rom version 2.24. if anyone else has any other tips or methods please post a comment and ill add it to the guide.
Once again keep in mind this is a workaround for fixing notifications and should not be considered away to fix all apps. I myself are still having delays with apps like Gmail so not all apps will be fixed permanently or in some cases not at all. However for apps like Snapchat,Facebook,Instagram and Discord, i've got them working like normal.
Some methods may require root but most of you will already have this to install apps so this shouldn't be much of a problem and keep in mind most of the first methods are basic so its just based at new users, the more complex methods will be near the end
Like my other tutorial there is this text tutorial but if you find it difficult i've uploaded video tutorials to my mega drive. (Download at the bottom of the page)
Method 1:
1. Go to Settings - app info - Application With notification issue
2 Go to App Notifications
3. Enable Notifications, Importance - Urgent, Enable Lock Screen notifications and Breath Light Reminder.
4. Go Back to previous screen and then go to App Permissions and make sure all the permissions are enabled
5. (optional) if the app has a notifications settings in the app itself make sure there enabled as well
Method 2:
1. Go to Settings - Power Saving - Application Power Management
2. Check though the list and make sure the app you are having notifications issues with is enabled.
Method 3:
1. Open the app your having issues with
2. Open Task Manager and find the app opened previously.
3. Pull down on the app to lock it in task manager.
4 This is the most important part you must leave the app open and make sure you don't clear it from task manager as if you clear it you will no longer receive notifications.
Method 4: Full credit goes to Konkoro
This method has helped to keep processes running so this has been the most effective method of fixing apps not receiving notifications after the device being left locked for a period of time.
1. Open Es File Explorer, grant root and enable Root Explorer.
2. Go to System/Bin/
3. Find the file named "freezerd" and delete it. (I would recommend making a backup of the file first)
4. Install and open Service Disabler.
5. Search for NeoSafe service and disable all the processes.
6. Now restart your device.
Method 5: Only if your having problems with notifications and apps not working on mobile date but work on Wifi.
Make sure when you log in to google play and apps for the first time you do it with mobile data and not wifi.
Method 6: This is a last resort for fixing issues and notifications on google apps.
1. Download and open Disable Application
2. search for Google Play Services
3. Enable every option for application (Activities, Services, Receivers, Providers and permissions)
4. repeat for Google Play Store, then reboot.
This may fix other applications but for someapps i may break the app so you will have to clear the apps data and cache. (So be careful)

This is it for the methods i know of for fixing notifications but for anyone having issues feel free to leave a comment and ill try to get back to you.
Thanks for reading if this helped please feel free to leave a like.
Update:
There is an issue with method 4 if you want to use a pattern but Konkoro update is this:
i have an idea for you, go to wifi - advancec and turn of wifi power saving mode, it will ok

[Tasker] [root] Updater for modded WhatsApp (AlexMods WhatsApp Plus)

What does this do?
Modded WhatsApps generally doesnt update itself, so you have to download the update manually. As known, WhatsApp stops working soon after a new version comes out, if you dont update it. So you have to always download update manually. This Tasker profile does it for you. It regularry checks for updates of WhatsApp in background and, if one is found - it automatically downloads and installs it. Once installed, you dont have to do anything. The profile is intended for AlexMods WhatsApp Plus (https://alexmods.com/wamods-en/), so make sure you are using this WhatsApp. Of course, if you want - you can change it, so that it downloads any other WhatsApp from any other web-site.
Preparations
Please backup your Tasker and WhatsApp before installing. Do note, that this requires root, as Android doesnt allow to install APK without root.
Installation
1. Extract the archive into /sdcard/Tasker (i.e. into corresponding folders).
2. Open Tasker
3. Long press on "Profiles", select "Import profile", then select every downloaded profile.
4. Disable and exit Tasker, then enable and exit Tasker or just reboot the device.
Is this a reputable developer? Downloading apps from places I'm unfamiliar freaks me out. Just interested in in the community's thoughts
Someone check it ? Any feedback ?
Feel free to check if before running by disabling Tasker, importing profiles and opening tasks.

[App][5.0+][Guide]👾Infinity for Reddit🤖

Infinity for Reddit
[Build your own Infinity apk with your own Reddit API token/key]As you may already know, Reddit is limiting 3rd party apps and after July 1st, we will be forced to either pay for Infinity on a monthly basis (which will benefit only Reddits Admins), or use the original Reddit App which is full of ads, trackers and basically it's "problematic". By doing the below method, you are using your own API Key which has a free allowance of 100 Requests/Minute. With basic usage of the app, you won't reach this limit and can still use Infinity without paying for it.
All the credits for this workaround and for the google colab script goes to the reddit user u/AllMFHH, you can find the original post on reddit here and ofc to the original dev of Infinity u/Hostilenemy.
I decided to post this on XDA, in case the original post on reddit gets removed by Reddit admins and ofc to let xda community know about it.
So, the steps:
In case you are already using Infinity and you have done changes in the settings, Backup your current settings in the App [Settings -> Advanced -> Backup settings (or so)]
Open the Google Colab Script and run the snippets with the instructions (Please read it carefully, you don't need ANY coding experience as you don't touch the code)
Uninstall old App
Install the APK
Login and restore your settings (if needed)
If you see the name "{YourRedditUsername}-app" (or whatever you chose) while logging in, you were successful
Restart the app for the settings to apply
To start the process in Google Colab Script, after you have completed what each step asks you, press the "play" button on the top left next to each step and when it is finished continue to the next one.
It uses a Keystore file I created with the name, password, etc. "Infinity".
Great guide!
Will do later!
This seems to be the ideal way right now, thx for the guide.
