You can use the new 'Odachi' kernel...it was made with fourG in mind.

I have srf 1.1.0/twilight 1.1.0, can I cwm flash this? Or do I need to odin to stock first? Does it support ext4?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
Haha wowww...
Guys. This kernel is for EF02 gingerbread. Not SRF. Not midnight. Not bonsai. In fact, no custom ROM except *maybe* v7 (and even with that I'm not sure without testing) will work with this. You'll have a soft brick.
So best advice: only flash this if you're on the EF02 leak.

I believe there is one flashable zip for this in the development section. It is a zip that had a few other items like sip in it. It was right in the title I believe
looks for euro Xoom only though

Nexus S I/O speed improvement script

Hi,
I saw a thread in the development forum few days ago. It was about a script which improves the io speed but the thread is away. I think it works for all hummingbird devices and the original thread is in another forum but I can't find it.
It would be very cool if somebody share the link.
Thanks

It was deemed as it wasn't necessary. If you want faster I/O flash a rom and kernel that has these tweaks. Such as CM7 and Trinity kernel.

Actually - you can. Try my MIUI ROM since it has even more tweaks, including I/O Tweaks.

Everything you need to know about ICS kernels in my thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441905
See post#3 for kernel features.
Try this one, it's really close to stock and was stable when i used it:

Voodoo Control app already works on the stock kernel, you just need root.

yeah, the app starts sure, but you don't have any voodoo drivers so it won't work
I think the app Voodoo Control Plus (paid) has the ability to load the Voodoo driver on rooted devices

Close to stock is still very very far from being stock. When your stock.

Install the unofficial build for the Gingerbread kernels then?
