Hi,
I'm going to assume that you have installed ARHD 3.6.7 or 4.1.7,
and have not updated your sig.
Mike was asked that question, and he said that he does not have a projector.
But that if you did have one ,then this ROM has the ability to interact with it.
I would think that you would need the appropriate cables.

[Q] Drivers needed (jp1082)

I was given an ethernet/usb dongle a few days ago and i haven't been able to find the drivers for linux. So now i'm in doubt.... Are there any drivers out there so that i can use my jp1082-030818 on my motorola xoom?
Drivers found!!!
Guys, after a long search, i finally managed to communicate with the chinese company that sells these dongles on ebay and they sent me a link for the drivers. I'm attaching the drivers here for all of you who need them like i did.
PS- i'm attaching ALL drivers for the dongle, not only the android ones, so you guys can have them too, if you need them.

Can you post a tutorial on how you installed the android drivers? I tried to open the file "README" in the android directory and it's just gibberish.

Yes, but could you kindly post a tutorial on how you installed the android drivers?
thanks and merry xmas to all!
guys, buy a better dongle. I tried to port those drivers over a year ago. Those drivers are ancient and not compatible with the .39 linux kernel.
I am using a dongle from o2 in the UK. its called the e173 from huawei and it only cost £10 and could be unlocked for free. Can someone tell me how I can use that on the xoom through a otg cable?
Thanks

Didn't have to install any drivers. I tested it on a iMito MX1 running 4.1.x, and it runs out of the box. For some reason I only got low speeds (5-6mbit). Don't know why that is though.
hi
i'm looking for this driver, my android does not detect the jp1802. I see that the proposed driver here is not compiled and i don't know how to do. Is there a tuto?
there is somewhat a tuto in readme.txt, however part is written in chinese:
编译qf9700_android驱动
5.1 转到驱动代码目录下 : cd qf9700_android/
make
there are also some .cmd files
someone to read between lines?

I'm in the same boat. Just got mine the other day.
I finally figured out why adb can't enumerate the tablet -- there's no USB driver! Obviously, there must be somewhere, but where?

FOLLOWUP: I think I found the product page from the original manufacturer: It's full name is PiPO P733 (S1) and is on pipo.com.cn. (I can't post a link because I don't have enough posts on xda).
I sent a quick email to them asking for a Windows 7 device driver for this tablet. I'll reply back to this thread when I hear back.

I attached the usb driver that I received from my vendor, LightInTheBox.com. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Maybe you'll have better luck.
After that, PiPO sent me to instructions to flash the ROM: (URL Removed because I don't have enough posts. If you need this, PM me, and I'll send it to you.)
On the PiPO page, you'll find links to the RKBATCHTOOL which handles the update and a link to the page for the firmware.
Please note, that the updated firmware didn't fix my issue either. It did, however, allow me to use the Chrome browser. (Chrome crashed with the original firmware.)
~Ron
P.S.: salllyna: I'll send the URL to you via PM.

my pipo S1 table auto installed a driver when i plugged it on my pc/laptop so i was wondering it might be ur OSversion or other stuffs
Pipo smart S1 driver
You can download a program called moborbo, install it in your PC, Connect your Pipo tablet through the USB to your PC and then open the program and it will install the driver automatically. You can watch the tutorial video for this in youtube just open youtube and write on search Pipo Smart S1 RK3066 ROOT. Sorry, i can't put the url as am a new member. Hope it helps you
Just picked up a S1 last week and was looking around for rooting instruction for it. I ran into this website http://www.topnotchtablets.com/RK3066firmware which has the batch tool, some instructions and custom firmware. Haven't tried it yet, but I thought I would share. Should note that the custom firmware is supposed to have a fix for gameloft games!
Just picked up one of these this week but there doesn't seem much info on xda so i thought id share this -

Now it is a solved matter, also check here:

[Q] Tablet Philips PI3900

I have a Tablet Philips "PI3900" acquired in Brazil.
In Brazil your exact model is the "PI3900B2X/78", but in other countries may have some variation in the model designation.
But worldwide model designation starts with "PI3900".
I want to develop some tests on it.
I downloaded a ROM for it in Chinese Philips website and think it's the same model.
How do root this device?
How do I start developing a custom ROM?
I'm looking for any useful information.
For rooting you can look into this thread:

I found more information on the PI3900:
- OTG function enabled.
Anyone else have any info on this tablet?

I have a PI3900B2X/78 and rooted it with vRoot as per http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453; use the last version as it is readable.
I found reading the build.prop file that the product name is PI3900_98.
Do you have the source for the OS?

So what's the question?
If you need/want OTG, then roo tyour device.
In case you want to root your device and you wanted to ask how, then you need to specify your device name, exact model/type and the firmware you are running now.
Then you can search xda for your device name (e.g. at the top of xda page in browser where "Type to find device..." is written) and a rooting guide.
Good luck !
Thread closed. Thank you!

Help me describe the specification of my phone!

Just a little question, can you give me every single details of my Lenovo A536? That would be great!
And also, is my phone support OTG?
(Tell me if my phone only have the hardware, or both hardware and software...)
Please answer!

If you are rooted, just install the Stick Mount app like I already suggested to you, if it works then your device supports OTG, if it doesn't work then your device doesn't support OTG, this will answer your question without having to do any searching or looking at your device specifications. It either works or it doesn't.
But I believe your device does not have the hardware to support OTG.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
