How to hide/show Title Bar? - HTC ChaCha

ChaCha's screen is landscape, so the title bar hold a big block of the screen.
And many apps are designed for lager screens, so there are two bars on the top,
Android TitleBar and app Title...some apps have a navigation bar on the bottom,
so there are so little space to display the main content.
I'm trying to find some apps can always hide/show the android title bar to make ChaCha's screen seems a little larger...
Any ideas?

at this time there is unfortunately no solution.
but you can ask the developers of the apps if they insert the full screen function!

use taskman
It is easy, just use taskman to kill the title bar~

[Q] Hide activity bar?

As per the title, is it possible to hide the activity/notification bar from the bottom of the screen, particularly when viewing movies or playing games?
I would assume so, but it might have to be done by the app that you're using. It does so in the Youtube app, it makes the buttons disappear and replaces them with tiny dark dots so I would assume that as a dev, someone could do the same. But I dont recall there being an option to do it.
No?
I don't think so, however devs can move it, like in the game Spirit, they place it on the left so it's as though you're getting more screen space. However, I don't think you can fully remove it, as it's the main way of navigating the device. Hope this helps!
The dots are called lights out mode
you can use gesture control to hide the bottom bar

[Q] Any way to make status bar longer / wider to show more icons / notifications ?

Hi guys,
Is there any way to make our status bar longer / wider ? It really irritates me that some notifications do not show up on the status bar (like GMail, Facebook, Tapatalk etc.), because there are other apps occuping the place in status bar permanently (like CPU Usage Monitor, Battery Indicator Pro, Tasker or Avast! Mobile Security). So sometimes if I don't catch the notification sound I can't tell there is new email, facebook event or tapatalk post just by looking at the screen. I need to click on the status bar to see all the notifications. I turned off permanent notifications for some programs like Tasker or Avast, but this way they are not prevented to be killed by internal task manager. Taking into consideration the fact that status bar occupies only small part of the screen I would say it is a huge waste of space. Is there any way to hack it and make it longer / wider to display more icons / notifications ? My HTC Sensation shows more icons in the status bar and it has this nice arrow sign to indicate there are additional notifications. Here we don't have such indicator.
I'm not absolutely sure about the stock ROM -- although I think I do know and that the answer should be in the negative -- but on CM10, for example, there is an option to display the number of open notifications in the task bar. I haven't tested it so far -- if I remember to, I will give it a shot and report back in.
Bottom line: probably on a custom ROM.

Hide the notification bar to have a real big usable readable 4.7 screen

People... sometimes I miss all the 4.7 screen for games or reading. Then I thought about an easy way to turn the notification and status bar on and off at my will, not needing to reboot the phone or mess with the build.prop everytime.
My phone is the xt925 and I use ICS 4.0.4 Retail Brazil rooted.
All you need are two programs (they are paid and totally worth the money) + ROOT (rooting is very important for them to work). Of course you can try other programs. I´m not advertising. I´m just giving an idea.
Download 'GMD hide bar' to have control over the notification and status bar at your will. And also download 'Virtual Button Bar' to replace the notification bars.
When I want to read my ebooks or play some games I use these 2 programs and they always work pretty well.
Also, Virtual Button Bar has a really nice function that is: The button controls stay hidden on the position you want of the screen and then, if you just pass your finger in front of the light sensor (don´t even need to touch the screen), they appear.
Its really convenient and awesome!
Hope you enjoy!
=p
I tried GMD Hide Bar on my Maxx HD running JB (4.1.1) but every time it hid the Navigation Bar on the bottom it also hid the Status Bar on the top. I've found several apps that'll hide them both but no app that'd hide the bottom bar and NOT the top bar. I assume that the reason these apps are set up like this is that in tablets running JB the two sets of functions are BOTH in the bottom bar, not in two separate bars. Have you been able to get GMD Hide Bar to hide the Navigation Bar and not the Status Bar?

[Q] Status bar auto-hides after 3 secs

I'm running SlimSaber-galaxys4gmtd-4.4.2-20140320.zip on an SGH-T959W.
A little while ago the status bar (bar at top with signal status, time etc.) auto hides after 3 seconds. I know that when i am in an app that kit-kat will hide the staus bar to conserve real estate and I like that but not when I am at the home screen or in apps list.
I know it was probably me that changed a setting but I can't find what it was and how to disable it.
Help .... please, pretty please.
Fixed it - found option where I can switch from "Normal" screen to "Extended" screen.

Enabling true full screen (Immersive mode).

I believe that the status bar should be hidden and that screen real estate can be used for apps like Twitter and Instagram, while scrolling, for optimum utilization, only thing is Oxygen OS (latest build) puts a black bar after measures are taken to hide status bar. I tried using ADB commands and apps such as Fullscrn and GMD, however the status bar is then replaced with a black bar, and the app is unable to claim that space. I want the status bar to be hidden (accessible only with swipe down) and the apps to take that space besides the notch. How would I go about doing that:fingers-crossed:?
