Is there a way to install ADB to android phone? - General Questions and Answers

If you're asking what i think you're asking, no.
ADB is included in the Android SDK tools. This is a windows program (IDK if there's a mac version or not), not an android app, it cannot be loaded onto an android device.

Android development in general should (currently) work even better for OSX and Linux than for Windows.
More important than what operating system you're running is the ability to read the stickies and understand what they're saying.

i completely agree... well put jashsu... but mac seems to be most compatible out of the box...lol...
Theoretically Ubuntu 8.04 should be the absolute most compatible for Android development currently, as that is what Google references in the sdk docs. Mac should be very similar, as it's partially built on BSD. Any experience with unix shells would give one a big jumpstart with Android hacking. However a lot of Mac users (Windows users too) have never touched the command line before. Which is a shame...

SDK Tools

okay its my fault for accidentally deleting it but I need the sdk tools. i redownloaded it but instead of a sdk folder there is just a sdk doc file. i read it and downloaded everything through the sdk manager and the tools are still not there. im lost and i looked through the guides and didnt see anything there. so what do I do now?
http://http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Then run the Setup exe
im on a mac...guess i should have said that first but i found it...its just not in the sdk directory anymore...and thats wut i was looking for specifically...the sdk tools now ~/Android/tools
duh...simple answer...just overlooked it trying to get ready for work...lol

Intel x86 is a general cpu structure, which means 32Bit CPU. You can also use it with other vendor's 32bit CPUs

Help: Can't Install Android SDK Tools

I will try to keep this short. I am unable to install the Android SDK Tools on this Windows 7 64bit machine. I have installed these tools countless times and never once had an issue. What gives???
When I extract the contents of the android sdk folder, there is NO exe file. Just windows batch files which I can not get to do ANYTHING via command line, run as admin, etc etc etc.
W T F????
Search and get "tools_r25.2.5-windows.zip" from the internet, this one works for me.

Question Windows 10 on Android Tablets

Hey,
yeah I know what you think. But I don't want to install Windows 10 on any of my tablets.
I just want to know, what work has to be done, to install Windows 10 on a Android Tablet. Just theory, nothing practially.

The if and how of that question depends on the device in question, the process may or may not vary depending on exactly which device you would be doing this on. Some are simple, most are not and only tablets with certain hardware architectures can even attempt to install Windows 10. The tablets that can install Windows 10 usually can't install the complete Windows 10 OS, they have to use a specialized version that has been trimmed down to reduce the storage space required to install it.
