There is already a post somewhere on this forum with the download link. It is rather large. Just do a search for Need For Speed to find it.

Kernel for use with extended battery

I was wondering if it takes a special kernel to use an extended battery. I have my Evo flashed to CricKet and am using Jiminy IV for the rom, I bought a generic 3500ma battery and cant get it to charge. It is a brand new battery. My phone is rooted and nand unlocked. Anyone have any ideas ir suggestions?
Thanks

As far as I know there is no special kernel needed. You sure the cord is good? If so try rebooting and see if that does the trick. If not battery may not be good

Try this one. It's what I use.

My cord is fine. It works great with my stock battery.
As far as that link, it took me to a forum but not to a post or kernel.

Holy crap... seriously man?
I know you dont have any post besides this so ill be gentle
BUT
This is the development forum. Any and akk questions should go in the Q/A section. I know what your thinking already " well, this is a question for a DEVELOPER" or "this is a question ABOUT DEVELOPMENT" and unfortunately your logic is flawed.
Before for you post in the development forum, just ask yourself these questions. "What did i develop?" "What work am i sharing with the community?" If you cant answer those than you are in the wrong place and this place is generally pretty brutal about this subject.
Apparently I am missing something. Sorry for my ignorance

Do download apps exist?

I need a way to download stuff faster on android. On firefox for pc, I use downloadthemall, it downloads parts of the file simultaneously. Is there anything like that for android, other than torrents? Thanks for any replies.

Thanks, very helpful, even though they don't download multiple file pieces simultaneously.

No they don't, but they may help you download larger files faster(at least that's what the author claims). Honestly I doubt that there is anything that is going to do that yet on any mobile OS. If you do find one please post back in this thread as I would be interested as well.
Will do.

New member here!
Quick question: Is there a way to turn the search button action in to 'recent apps'? With any possible ICS ROM. I know I can access it by long-pressing the home button, but I would find replacing search for recent apps more convenient as I switch between all my apps more than search.
Thanks for the hard work!

Sorry for the topic Heading! I am still learning how to use this app lol. This is a general question.

You don't use "New Topic" obviously when you want to REPLY to a topic...
Oh, sorry. Is this something that has already been asked? I couldn't find it. Link me to the page if you'd like.
Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken u have to have a certain number of posts before posting in dev section. I made a thread about this and there is a way, I still haven't found out the way to do it but u can and it is possible.

Well I think it is helpful and pointless at the same time. Also not 100 % sure but 90% sure that's the case with dev section.

link works just fine. however more information about the keyboard and maybe some screen shots might be helpful if you really want people to take any interest.
but than again... this does not appear to be your personal work... did you receive permission to post this from the author?? until then, i will have to remove the link.

Is there a way I can get Google Now on the Samsung Galaxy s 4g running ICS? I saw it against Siri and it blew my mind.

You need to stop making threads and/or asking such questions, because if you would actually search and read, there's a thread for Google Now in the Themes and Apps Section of this phone's forum, probably first thread listed there. Ugh!
I didn't know a thread was already created.

Well, seeing as this is here
Does anyone find that it can be a tad laggy at times?
Perhaps its because of the herring kernel, but I do feel as if we can do something to speed it up. Any ideas?

I know it's off topic but I think this needs to be watched again or for the first time by some.
