navigation commands volume too low when music playing - HTC Sensation

i've searched around and there are a couple of threads outside of the sensation forum, but none i can find with a solution.. so i am posting here in the hope of a solution..
the situation is this:
sensation phone
currently on ARHD 4.1.6 but have same issue with other ROMs
when playing music and running co-pilot sat nav at the same time, with audio out to car AUX-in socket.. music plays fine, but when there is a navigation command the music volume is lowered (not muted but v low) - presumably so you can hear the nav command, but the nav in structions also play v quiet
no music and it plays fine
i have had one combination of ROM & TTS voice have this working, but i cant remember what i had when it worked.. i went through a phase of changing ROM's almost daily and it was a while before i realised i had this issue..
any help please

Installed arhd 3.x latest version and a test via headphones seems to work..
The roms it didn't work with seem to be non-beats audio as far as I remember

HTC RC E100 - works fine (confirmation)

Just a short information for all Rose lovers, that would like to use HTC RC E100 - this remote controller with headphones adapter works perfectly with HTC Rose with stock ROM.
Works fine on mine as well ... just one issue with the volume control :
Where the "old" headset had a volume-thing on the side that controlled volume independent from the system volume.
Now , if I use HTC Audio manager , the volume is always way to loud when listening to music , I can't seem to get it low enough.
In Windows Mediaplayer there seems to be an separate volume setting where it's much easier to get a decent sound but HTC Audio Manager works better for me.
Anybody know how to fix this ?

[Q] When music is playing, navigation volume is low?

Okay, I'm kind of curious what is causing this problem. I'm using NSCollab 1.09 and have used CM 7 RC2. Whenever I play music while using navigation, the navigation volume is very low when directions are being spoken. It's low enough where I won't hear it unless I turn the volume all the way up on the car stereo.
When I use navigation by itself, it's fine, the problem happens when I also play music at the same time. It never happened with CM 7 RC1 variations. I did do a complete wipe install with both roms that I mentioned earlier. Kind of wandering what's causing this to happen. Subsonic is my main music player.
Oh, the navigation volume is maxed out when this happened.
Any ideas?
Btw, searching for "navigation volume" brought up nothing useful.
I have exactly the same issue (almost) on my Desire HD.
When I have any sat nav (CoPilot or Navigator) running along with music app (PowerAMP or HTC Music) the sat nav voice iss too low - but only when I have audio cable plugged in!
Everything works fine when not audio cable is plugged in
running with stock android OS or with CM7.03-ns I have the same issues when using bluetooth... but only with third party music apps. if i use the builtin music player the navigation audio comes thru perfectly.
anyone ever find a solution to this issue? I have the same exact problem with my phone.
I also have this problem when I use Grooveshark in combination with Navigation. Haven't yet tried navigation plus stock music player though.. would be interested to know what others think...

I also have similar issue. Google navigation volume is way low when I am using TuneIn music internet radio player.

Same issue here with Tunein and Google Maps. Other music apps work fine, only Tunein has the issue.
Is this a Tunein bug? Any ideas?

Spirit FM/Winamp compatibility?

Ok, so I'm having a bit of a problem with my Radio and Music player on my HTC Sensation, I have OpenSensation CM9 flashed on it, so I can't use the default radio. I bought myself Spirit FM today and I love it! The radio works just as I want it to. There's only one small issue, when I turn the radio off and switch to my default music player (Currently Winamp) the music is extremely loud! It's so loud, it kills my ears in surprise shock! I believe it is because the app thinks that it's still in speaker mode, but that doesn't explain why the volume can't be adjusted. I can slide the volume all the way to the last selection before mute and it will still be the same volume!
Is anyone else having problems with this app? Are there any solutions? Please let me know because I don't want to have to keep restarting my phone whenever I want to switch between the two apps.
Thanks.
Bump.

[Q] Having weird audio issues on MIUI v4 2.7.12

I flashed from CM9 , followed the directions in OP. Everything is working as advertised , except when I switch to speakerphone during a phone call there is no sound . When I play videos on YouTube or the browser no audio when my volume clearly says its on the highest level. Games with sound work its strange. Anyone had this issue or suggest a fix. Thanks
Edit: the sound doesn't work for games either

[Q] Music skipping with beats enabled on poweramp?

I have poweramp cause its just plain the best music player ive downloaded, and whenever i enable beats audio, if im entering apps like settings or switching from one app to another or turning the phone on or off and various other basic tasks, playback starts skipping... but if i turn off beats audio, it works perfectly! i tried messing with the various audio tweaks poweramp has, but none have helped with the issue... i just wanna know if someone has or had the same issue and what they did to fix it!

I'm also facing exactly the same problem. Well, how do you disable Beats anyway ?
