Is it possible to change the color of the statusbar or some icons in the statusbar of our i9001? Can someone explain me how to do this?

This is what I want to do with my HD2 when it arrives tomorrow.
Is it easy enough to do?
I assume if I download a transparent slider.cab then it will be totally transparent? Its not like with the iPhone where I could go into the theme and increase/reduce transparency of each individual component? What about the grey bit around the selected icon in the slider? Would that be part of the transparent slider.cab? Or is that something totally different?
I cant open up a .cab file on my PC and adjust things there can I?

Does anyone think they could port over the HTC theme " ElegantBlues"? To CM7 theme Chooser? Maybe an overlay framework of the battery and statusbar icons over MattedBlues. I just want the framework the most though, and I do realize its an HTC theme but I've seen them converted into cm7 themes before, ill even donate to anyone who can accomplish this. Thanks for your time.

Hey hi, I tried the tutorial to customize SystemUI of our Core to make its Task Manager to look like Sense 4 Style Taskbar but i got nothing.
