would be awesome to customize the sound, but i don't think that's available now, at least not without a custom ROM or something. i just switched mine off and left just the haptic feedback vibrate, sound was getting really annoying.

First off download or make a custom sound of your choice but, make sure that it's under 2 seconds long & remame it to TW_Touch.ogg Then drag it to your SD card but also make sure your phone is rooted and download (Root Explorer). Once you got Root explorer downloaded open it and go to sdcard & find the sound you wanna use & hold & select copy. Go back once then go to System/media/audio/ui. The default sound you wanna replace is TW_Touch.ogg. Make sure the mount is R/O & just paste & your good to go. Now every time you make a screen selection the sound you chose will be heard. Hope this helps

[Q] How can I change the power off animation?

I'm referring to replacing the animation that plays when I'm powering down the device completely. In order to replace the pink Tmobile logo. Is this possible?

Bothers me for a couple reasons. First, its something that I can't seem to find a way to modify, so it represents a challenge. Second, it is the only element of my phone that doesn't follow a similar color scheme.

I found my shutdown animation inside /system/etc/customization/content/com/sonyericcson/shutdownanim/shutdown.mp4
Haven´t deleted it yet, because I´m looking for another one to replace it.

On the G2X the power off animation is in the poweroff.apk app. You need to decompile, change and recompile the apk to change the shutdown animation. Or just use another one from another G2X rom (same Android version) that already has a power down animation you prefer.

[Q] no sound on boot of g2x

there is no boot sound on the G2x using weapon 2.6 and there is no shutdown sound ether is there a way to fix it all it dose now is vibrate

Some rom are made with no sound... there's nothing wrong... it's annoying imo...

Can themes change ringtones and notification sounds?

Hey guys, I really need help... I'm scared for my phones life right now... I'm running aokp now and it's great. Everything is running perfectly until yesterday. Somehow my notification sound turned into that awful tri-tone sound from the iPhone (that's the only reason its awful) and the ringtone changed into that nasty Maramba tone. I've changed themes a few times so the only explanation is themes change sounds or my phone is turning into an iPhone. D: if this is the case there's only one thing to do, burn the phone then smash it by running it over in my truck.

From what I was aware of no because the theming normally just deals with icons and looks nothing every really with sound files

Yes it can. Cm10 uses a cyanogen tone whereas stock at&t uses firefly or something like that. That's not to say it always does, but yes it can.

Boot audio

I've installed a daft punk boot animation, and I want to put on a clip of a song while it plays. I've searched around but nothing I try works. Can you guys help me out with how exactly I do it? I use the audiophile rom right now

I remember seeing a thread about boot sound posted here with a fix. Tapatalk 4 beta's search function sticks or i would link it. I think it was eolly that posted it.
