Yeah I just changed a few things though. Mine still has the System UI error on the current one, and I just added in the fix for phone apk. If you want I can still post it though...
Yeah would be nice, can you see the statusbar in your build and have you tried the system ui from the nexus s port btw??
I'd love to check out the latest stoneyjones build even with the systemui error....maybe play around with a few things and get lucky and sort it out = )

I found a little easter egg. Just like in Gingerbread AOSP, if you tap really fast on the Android version in 'About Phone', it pops up with a cool 8-bit style Android.

So does the build you posted have the touchscreen working? And graphics not distorted? Sorry for the questions but there's so many builds and fixes knocking around now im getting confused!!

No graphics distorted, just slow. And full mutitouch is working, once you make it to the homescreen and switch to maps wallpaper.

Hmm might not have it in that version. Sorry... Oh well, I'll have an updated one posted tomorrow, and hopefully radio or wifi at least.
If you can find the maps apk, you can use adb install to put it on the phone.

Hi Memnoc, I just install the ROm and 1st impression is it's fast (I change the kernel to SB + hardswap) with larger free RAM (over than 200MB) and I'll test furher then. In the mean time I'll report some findings :
a. the EQS button seems won't work. and I don't find any TWEAK app inside the ROM.
b. phonesky.apk is the same as vendering.apk, and you have both inside.

As a matter fact, I've installed it twice, once without removing any bloatware and it's not there.

When taking multiple photos in a row around 4 or more. I can't charge phone when off either it will just reboot and yea on stock it will charge when phone is off.
Am I able to flash with Android 5.0 Gapps? Or do I have to stick to 4.4.4?

I've used your rom and yes the phone will turn back on when off and you try to charge. Have the same issue with the mahdi rom.

I installed this ROM yesterday, works great! Not much in the way of the usual tweaks that we find in CM roms but I'm sure Antares will get there with it!

I have been running it for 2 days! Today is my third day with it! So far no crashes. The entire system is rock-stable. No hiccups, freezes, reboots. It just works. Multitasking is the best ever when compared to the many TW & AOSP/CM ROM's I've tried in the last years on my S4.
BUGS I've encounted so far:
- The microphone does NOT work in the following apps I tested: WhatsApp, Viber, SnapChat & Skype
Regarding the other apps, I am not sure yet as I have yet to test. The microphone did work for me on phonecalls though.
- Adaptive Backlight is always enabled. Even when the switch is turned off, the function still stays enabled!

Yep, just two bugs. Battery life is fine. ~3 SOT on a 15H day on max brightness with mostly on 4G. Battery drain when idling is just okay. I suppose doze isn't working? In 7 hours of idling, the phone lost 2% with syncing & wifi enabled. That's the same as the drain I get when on Albe's S6 PORT rom's when idling. I expected to lose ~0.5% after 7 hours of idling IF doze did do it's magic.
I have NO battery-saving apps installed. I just disabled WiFi & BlueTooth to always stay enabled to look for location just as I always do on every ROM I use.
NON-TW rom's have terrible camera's, BUT this multitasking really keeps me still on this rom! Thanks AntaresOne!

best nuga rom no bugs
Can you guys compare this to something more uhh, popular? I guess is the word. Is it a heavily modded AOSP ROM? Like AICP? I'm on the dreaded BrokenOS right now and it is incredibly stable, but it's 6.0. I would jump to Nougat if it was similar. Can someone give a quick review of it? Features, lag issues, any camera issues, does the notification light work properly? Things like that. Thank you.

In the amount of time you wait for someone to spoon feed you your required information, you could have downloaded it, installed and be running it and find out how this works for you.
I have no idea why so many people are so afraid to try something for themselves. If this be the case then flashing is not for you... or is it just most of you have become that lazy.
Sorry for the rant but this need most people here on XDA to be handed everything and not do for yourselves has gotten out of hand.

Maybe because I flashed 5 ROMs in the last week...clean flashes, and I wanted to avoid setting up another ROM that I never heard of, with no change log or feature list, or bug reports that I could find. For example, ambient display is not working, deal breaker for me. Thanks to those who were constructive in this thread so far. Carry on.

I have flashed 5 roms in a day... if it has become too much for you or you do not know about methods where you can flash a rom and restore all you data in a matter of minutes, you are not doing it right. Then again, maybe flashing it not for you.

You're really not helping anyone by portraying this ridiculous elitist attitude to someone trying to innocently get info about an unknown piece of software. Some of us actually need everything to work on their phones instead of being a first adopter. Get off your high horse and stop derailing what was actually turning into an informational thread.
That's the last I have to say about any of this.
Not sure how OP can say this ROM is bug free. I remember trying it when it was first uploaded and it has plenty of bugs. Such as gallery causing the phone to freeze and reboot. I'm sure the aux port isn't working correctly either, etc.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely stick with AICP for now. I've been rolling with the nightlies on that ROM for 10 days or so and every day seems to make progress.
