OK.. guys here is a Generic x10i Paid Market fix for the x10i running R2BA023. This is not for x10a (sorry guys) so please do not try it or you will brick your phone.
Ok.. 1st download the following file and extract to your drive:
x10i-R2B-PaidMarket-Fix
Secondly ensure you have debugging enabled in settings and connect your phone:
Settings -> Applications -> Development
Third run "runme.cmd" and wait for it to finish, approx 10-20secs and it will reboot your phone.
Finally, "force stop" and "clear cache" for the market app in:
Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications.
Try out Market
Good Luck!

Nothing changed for me !!
Getting the same amount of results as before when searched for "Documents" ie., 58 ..
Be paitient and wait anther 24h until fingerprint is updated

is there one needed for the x10a or is our market okay ?
im able to see paid apps on my rooted x10a, so do i need this?
The Marketfix for X10a is included in the new package so if you rooted with that package you probably have it. I rooted with the older one and I'm still able to see paid apps.
I would prefer using the market enabler app. More easy and convenient.

i tried the market enabler and it didnt work for me,then i found market access and working like a charm

ooo .. thnx for the suggestion ..
It didn't work with 020? I was getting poor battery life with 023 and I did a downgrade..
Works brilliantly for me. Use it even if you have a UK phone; as an example, Flikie Wallpapers now appears. It's a really high-quality background/wallpaper app.
Thanks, guys!

Works at treat, I now have many games I paid for previously available to download.
Also found more apps appear if you clear the data in 'Google Apps' via the Settings > Applications > Manage Applications menu and log onto your Google Account from fresh

You have to wait for it to activate an it can take up to 24 hours if you read back through this thread it will tell you that.
I did it last night at around 10pm and then by 9am this morning I could get all the apps I was missing including myplayer.
hi
i followed all instructions
i waiting more then 24 hours
but nothing happened in the market
57 files when i search for documents
is this fix only for guys they dont have paid apps ??
i have paid apps but before i rooted i has 108 when i searched for documents
thnx
No idea then?
I had paid apps before the root and come from the UK, after rooting I lost a lot of the free apps and some paid ones.
Downloaded the market fix last night installed it cleared the cache and clicked force close and rebooted my phone, woke up this morning and had everything back in the market.
i installed the market fix again and it works now 108 documents @ search `` thnx
it works for me no need to wait for 24h only a few minutes
I hand an HTC Magic + and would like to know if there was a way to load an app installer onto the android system without using android market place.
Yes i know i can easily sign into the android app market and download many installers, but that will force me to have a google account tied to my phone.
Here is the achillis heel, i do not want to log into google account on the android market.
Is there a way to install apps to the android 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3 using the storage card, some offline app loader.
I know there is a way to do this using the Android SDK, i tried it, i got no idea how to use it, there are no good guides anywhere on internet forums, and youtube guide was for mac, and it wasnt presented clearly.
The reason why i want an offline app loader is so i can try many of the app from the xda forums and community without using the market place.
If you already have the .apk's it's as easy as opening them in the file manager on your phone. Just make sure you have Settings > Applications > Unknown Sources selected.
If you're asking about where you can go to get the .apk's to install them, that's a whole different story and I'm not getting in on that discussion.

I don't see the "unkown sources" selection on the setting> applications. Can anyone help ME find it?

I've rooted my xperia x8 (android 2.1), and removed some stock apps i found that not necessary online.
the next thing, I can't download apps from the market! It says "downloading", but there isn't notification and it doesn't looks like downloading..
I've cleared the information from the market app, still nothing..
Please help me!
Have the same issue for my Xperia X10 mini and mini pro. Do we need to Unroot for it to work?
Mini E10i
2.1 Update 1
Build 2.1.1.A.0.6
Rooted using Superoneclick
Reinstall
Have you tried.
1. Taking the battery out and restarting after 10mins?
2. Reinstall the market or upgrade it through downloading the apk.
It will work.
Have you tried...
reflashing your ROM?
Golan89, when you say "I've cleared the information from the market app, still nothing.." do you mean you tried clearing the cache and data from your Market app? (i.e. under Manage Applications > Market).
If you haven't tried that then please give it a go. So basically clear your Market app's cache > then data > then reboot your phone > then open up Market app and try downloading again.
Good luck
You probably removed a system app that is needed to download apps. What exactly did you remove?
Maybe make hard reset or/and use Eris Market Fix.

hello i downloaded some free apps from the market with a friends rooted phone and backed them up using systemapp remover. i then mailed the apks to my mail address and downloaded them on my tab (which does not have access to the market), i then tried to install them everything looked alright but then i got the message: application not installed and that was for all three free apps from the market. do i have somehow manipulate them before i can install them? thanks for any tips
Maybe those free apps are not compatible with the tab's kernel?
You already said that you backed up those apps from a phone. Try getting a market app and then download them, they'll work.
Use gapps for gingerbread from the development section, and apply them using recovery.

Your apps might not be compatible with your Tab's Kernel.
I would suggest you to install Vending.apk (PlayStore app) first on your tab with the help of root manager and then see if it works or not or search the apps in tab section (PlayStore), follow the old steps and then see if it works.
Good luck!
Try installing the latest version of gapps

Is the phone you are installing these apps to rooted itself? I've had problems with USENET APK downloads in the past, but after rooting just about everything works. Not sure why though.
Out of curiosity, why not download the free apps directly yourself from the market instead of attemting a direct install?
many thanks to all for the tips. will try them in a few hours when its more quite at work.
the reason i can not install it from the market is that my device is not up to the specifications, its one of those hp zeen thingys, not a great tab at all but nice enough to play around with a bit. however what i will try is to install google play as it might work (the new market) but i doubt it, it had the old vending market on it but i removed since it was not working.
what i did also is that i moved those free market apps with root explorer to the tabs memory and try install it from there but it didn't work.
is it maybe because my device is not 'strong' enough for those apps? its just normal bus and train information apps....
and yes the tab is rooted
I seem to be having a problem with the play store - seems i can't install/update any of my apps - I'm getting an error - "Unknown error code during application installation: "-110" "
I have tried removing the cache etc from the application menu but it doesn't make any difference. I have tried re installing an APK to the system/app folder, but that didn't help either.
I'm at a bit of a loss
I have the same problem too.

try clear app data... is ur play store version up to date? maybe ur playstore is trying to update itself while u try to download an app... try leaving the playstore running ... and connected to internet for abt 30 minutes....
or install the latest apk urself...

go to settings > application manager > all > check the download manager is not disabled .. if does enable the download manager ... if still cannot reset to factory default may do the trick
