I had my 4G xoom unlocked and rooted, installed Tiamat 2.2 on it (which then killed the 3G) so I decided to flash back to stock, but somehow screwed up the backup, managed to go back to factory 3G image with the HRI66.zip file I found in another thread. It unrooted my phone and relocked it, but now it's in a constant reboot loop, showing the honeycomb images for nearly 45 minutes now. What's my options? My computer wont talk to it, because I can't even get into it to enable USB debugging.... UGH!
sooo..... I let my device run dead.... then powered it up, went into fastboot mode, which took me straight to the unlock screen.... because I didn't lock it when I unrooted it.... All fixed..... except still NO 3G!!!!!

In December of last year, I had my friend root and install CyanogenMod onto my Mytouch 3G Slide. Everything was working fine until I wanted to update my ROM and tried to boot my phone into recovery mode to make a NANDroid backup. A screen with a picture of a phone and a red exclamation point inside a triangle would appear, and I'd have to pull the battery out to restart the phone.
Then, I tried to access the bootloader by holding the volume down and power buttons. After some loading, it asked me if I wanted to update. Not knowing what it was asking, I said no, and tried to access the actual recovery menu, but the same screen showed up.
I tried again, this time accepting the update. Now, when my phone boots, the stock mytouch splash screen appears and the phone does nothing from there.
At this point, what would be the best solution? Is my phone just bricked, or is there a way to restore it to the stock firmware/recover CyanogenMod?
EDIT: For clarification, I can still access the bootloader, where I have four options: Fastboot, Recovery (See problem above), Clear Storage, and Simlock.
EDIT 2: I left it on the splash screen and discovered that it seems to have just thrown my phone into a stock factory state, running 2.1-update 1. Not sure if it's still rooted.
Okay so I just bought this phone from craigslist. It was rooted when I got it. I factory reset the data but then restarted the phone and got stuck in a boot loop. So, I decided to unroot it and put it back to it's original state. I downloaded the original stock kernal - acs-eb30-stock-kernal-pulled.tar - and I loaded it on via Odin. I then followed the command prompt steps to fully unroot the phone and it was successful. I'm not stuck in a boot loop anymore however I can't access the main home page, the settings, get a wifi connection, anything really. It just keeps asking me to put in my google account settings but I can't connect to wifi. I can't get to the home screen page. It's almost like maybe that was the wrong kernal? I was looking for the stock kernal and people were saying it's EG30 not EB30. Any suggestions?
Ok, so had it unlocked, but running stock. Ran fine, then one day it stopped working and got stuck in a boot loop on the google screen. Managed to get it into CWM and then wiped, after lots of tries, and back to CM7 and unlocked. Then backed it out to stock and locked the bootloader(was planning on giving it to a friend who doesn't like to play with phones like that). But now it gets stuck on the google screen. Can get to fastboot, but if I do fastboot oem unlock it just has "..." and holds for hours(until I manually stop it) and then says it failed too many links. Can't get it unlocked, can't get it to boot into anything usable(either fastboot or the google screen and no further) and I'd really like to turn it back into a tablet for the kids to use since I've moved on. ADB devices shows error device not found but fastboot devices shows the serial number. I just really need to know how to unlock it so I can get it back and running. I think what screwed it up was I flashed it back to the way it came locked bootloader and then it said there was a OTA update, I said ok, downloaded it and when it rebooted it wouldn't go past google screen or past fastboot screen. If I try and do the recovery I get the triangle with exclamation point(yellow) and if I hit the power button a few times it tries to reboot and hangs. And yes, when I do the unlock the screen comes up, I move it to yes, hit power and then it freezes. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Ever Fix This?
Did you ever get this figured out? This is where I'm at after hours and hours to get to this point.
I have a NS4G that I have just lying around the house for entertainment purposes. I don't use it as my main device or anything. The other day the phone was off when I pulled i t out of my pocket, so I turned it on and set it down. I forgot about it for about 30 minutes and went back to it, but the phone was still on the boot animation. I haven't been able to get past it. It is rooted and the boot loader is unlocked. It is currently on stock ICS (I believe) but I know I never created a backup or anything. I can get into fastboot and then into Android System Recovery, but USB debugging wasn't turned on... WHAT DO I DO!?
:crying:
Nevermind. I got it. lol. I'm not sure what I did. Mods could you please close.
Hey guys, I've got a Kyocera Brigadier and I decided to change the runtime from Dalvik to ART. Now the phone is stuck on loadscreen and I don't know how to fix it. The phone is rooted using the KingRoot app, but I don't know if that would help in any way.
Please help me guys!
Similar Issue
I am have a very similar issue, I also rooted my Brigadier with Kingroot and all went well. However, I attempted to flash the Xposed Framework onto it using Flashify. After doing such it got stuck in a bootloop, I was able to fix that problem by booting into fastboot mode and using fastboot to push stock firmware back onto my device. However now I have an even bigger problem where my phone boots up to the Powered by Android screen and then to the Kyocera screen, however instead of continuing to boot to the Verizon Wireless screen and then into the phone, it gets stuck at a black screen. I have tried waiting for hours and nothing at all happens, also I can no longer seem to boot into fastboot mode or in other words the Powered by Android screen with the little 1 in the top left corner of the screen. Fastboot nor ADB recognizes the device when plugged into my computer, as neither list anything when ran. Please help, I don't want to have to pay and end up sending my phone into Verizon to be unbricked.

I have the same problem. I bought a new a Brigadier that was on 4.4.2. I rooted with Kingroot ran update and now my phone will not boot past Kyocera screen. It goes black with the back light on. Did factory wipe and still nothing. I am shocked that KK has killed yet another phone of mine. I very much dislike KK ROM. What did you find out?
