Hi, first I want to say thank you, I really enjoyed your video. I just purchased an eee Pad tranformer and updated the firmwa re. I am still experiencing problems with viewing embedded videos on Facebook. I read about issues with flash and to fix the speed, but havenot tried this since I haven't tested all video functionality. Also not sure if I'm using the stock browser.
I couldn't search the threads as I'm experiencing some intermittent issues with keypad
Thank you
The stock browser is called "Browser"; how Facebook does videos in app or on website, I have no clue.

Hey,
Today I was really tired and needed some sleep in class, so I recorded my maths class if I needed it later while I slept. I recorded it in 1080p so it would be easier to read the stuff on the board. But when reviewing it I noticed the longer into the video I watched the more out of sync the audio became, until eventually it looked like she was miming. Also there was some flickering sort of thing going on, I don't know if this is normal since I'm no expert on cameras.

I have some of the same issue, mainly the video flickering. I've used VLC and the stock player but both without any success. I watch a lot of stuff in 1080p with both video players without any problem so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the player. I have also noticed that regardless of the lenght I have the same problem and that if I transfer the video to a different system the video plays fine (even through a web brouser). So I tried to disable all the syncs and autoupdates and increased the preformnce to the maximum but without any improvements. When I first got the tablet everything worked flawlessly. Is it an update issue?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Does this happen to anyone else? Whilst browsing, porn sites just randomly pop up. Its never happened on ICS.

I just got my TF yesterday, still on ICS and I get the same thing with the stock browser. Haven't tried another browser yet, but it's very alarming when I am browsing with my young daughters and suddenly porn images are loaded
I don't know what it is. How many apps have you got? If you dont have many, perhaps you could list them?

Next to the pre-installed apps only a few games:
Ant Smasher, Angry Birds Space, Animal Match, Four in a line Free, Kids Zoodles and Where's my Water.
I have had all of the games installed on my HTC Sensation for months without any issues, weird that this is happening on this tablet!
I dont have any of those apps and still have these weird problems. It may only be on stock browser but I'm not too sure. It's very weird and strange. Might try contacting Asus about it

the best way to stop these are rott it then use ad blocker or use firefox and use the adblocker add on , the first works perfect, its what i do and ive not had this problem and the adblocker on my desktop firefox works perfect so that should too
Never had this on Opera and Adaway
I used Chrome, stock browser and Firefox. ICS and JB, never had this issue.

Don't go on porn sites. Like I said, it's random, once it happened whilst opening tabs from Google search results

Same here.
I mostly use Chrome, but I also use Opera and Firefox. Never seen a porn site pop up while browsing. I guess I could see that happening if you're just hitting random links from Google searches, but i suspect that would be the case with any browser.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Sounds like that famous reply from the Apple Genius when the wife asked if porn links on her husband's computer could have come from a virus - "Of course they could" - man loyalty wins every time.
This is a terrible issue. When i want random porn i have to search for it, which means its not random anymore. What is random porn anyway? Is it like midget porn?
If not, I'm not interested.

Hello,
I am using stock browser which works exceptionally well when javascript is disabled. However, I loose some functionality to any website with embedded javascripts. On my TF700 I'm finding that it is the only thing that's crashing my browsers and even at times locking/rebooting my system.
As the title suggests, anyone here running Browser2Ram with javascript enabled? Does it still run smooth, no lag or lock ups? Any other suggestions for a javascript fix? I'm holding off from rooting my device to see if there are any other solutions posted.
Thx in advance.

in desktop mode with browser2ram, both sites are working fine. On espn, some videos are not working due to hulu content, for unlocked device, hulu won't work, but you are not so it should be fine.

It is the standard behavior and the limitation of Android stock browser. Any flash-based streaming services running in the stock browser will stop working the moment you switch to another tab or another app. With Chrome, audio streaming service will still work in the background, so you might want to avoid videos.
Ok, thanks
