Ok so I followed theses steps on you tube for dual booting CM7 and Webos and seems to be installed ok but when it reboots it goes straight into Webos and doesnt bring up the boot screen so you can pick whether u want Webos or CM7 has anyone else tried this with success and if so what could I be doing wrong? here's a copy of the YouTube video

Sounds like you didn't install moboot
Here is the main page for CM7 there is a lot of troubleshooting steps here, you should probably just do it over using the instructions here, they were flawless.
Rootzwiki
Yep, I've put CM7 on mine and my G/F's TP...no issues.
Put three zips in a folder (CM7, Moboot and Clockwork Recovery)
Boot into USB mode, run the nova command.
It's simple as pie...I think you just missed that file/folder for moboot as said.
I just installed the Alpha2 version of CM7, using the youtube "idiots guide to CM7 install" or something like that. Had to search around for the zip files needed but it works almost flawlessly. By that I mean, it's responsive, looks like android, sort of, and doesn't seem to crash much. I know I have alot to learn about this exact "flavor" of Android, but it should be fun. And my webos is still intact.

OK, I've had a couple of days with this now, the only complaint/problem is the wifi connection doesn't seem to be as stable as the HP Webos side. I don't know what might be the specific issue, or what the cure might be, but reconnecting seems easy enough. The keyboard w/assist is awesome.
Adobe flash player says it is incompatible with this platform, any way to fix that?
I have downloaded and installed about 20 normal apps, including some live wallpapers, and they all work well. I am impressed with CM7 as an alternative to Webos
Thank You Cyanogenmod team.

You guys should try the Xron-ified Mod of the CM7 Alpha 3.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the x86 android 1.6 port on their pc. Also, can we expect to see further development for this? Like custom ROMs, themes, and an online market of some sort? It seems awesome.
I don't know anything about but I'd like to hear about this too...
I've been able to get the froyo version to boot through Virtual PC just fine. The only problem I was having is the lag from manipulating the screens with my mouse or even anything that may require hardware acceleration. Its a great step in the right direction.. but at this time its only something to play with.

I tested it a couple of times, but it's ment for subnetbooks, not PC.
But if I'd find people interested to create a PC-Distro, I'm there...
I didn't even know they made one! o: Could someone link me towards the right information
There's some YouTube videos and stuff on it, it's pretty neat!
What up people just flashed cm7beta3 its moving nice and quick especially coming from cm6.1beta4. But unlike cm6 b4 I was able to fix the market and flash by following the steps provided on here but I'm not having any luck with either on cm7 b3. Anyone get these up and running. Great job on the Tom pimp couple things I've noticed so far is that apps that I've installed I don't see a widget option but now as I'm writing this I think its cuz they are on my sdcard but I'm a music freak and as I'm doing stuff on the gtab and music play'n I notice it stutters alot then returns back to norm.

I think the market problem is due to the universal tiny gapps not being compatible with tegra 2 (at least according to a post over at cyanogen.
So maybe I should try my old gapps

And it works!
Edit: My current setup is a AMOLD dinc, running CM7 with 2.3.3. 16GB msd in to.
Download from market:

Netflix is apparently blocking unsupported devices when you try to login, I uploaded the apk to my xoom to test it and it did not let me login.
I have the app and have not yet been able to get it to load. I just get a black screen.
However, I noted that the details on the market page state it is official for the Incredible running 2.2, and I'm running CM7.
Has anyone else tried with CM7?
Assuming there are indeed compatibility issues, I'm hopeful the devs will find a way to make it work, because I'm not looking forward to going back to stock, but I need Netflix.
(Actually. Right now, I'm thinking about loading up one of the dual-boot options with some stock Froyo. This is worth the effort.)
Edit: The dual-boot option is awesome and all... But then, I tried again in CM7, and I found that I spent a few hours heavily tweaking my phone for nothing but the thrill; the app works, and I was watching Ong Bak 3 in seconds. Since I don't need a Sense rom, I undid the dual-boot configuration.
So. Works on CM7.
Just saw this. Not showing up for me in the market. I assume its a CM7 thing.
Maybe we can find locate an apk.

Can someone pull the apk please? I know it probably won't work, but I can't wait to try running it on my DX and Xoom!
Installed from the market, but all I get is a black screen for a long time, then an FC...
CM 7.0.3
Just tested and it does stream on CM7.
Works fine for me as well.
CM7.0.3
running CM 7.0.2.1 DINC, and program will shut off right after I try to log in
If somebody could post the APK, Thunderbolt folks would be grateful. I know it is blocking unsupported devices, but our devs want to take a crack at it. Thanks!
I am on CM Nightlies and it doesn't work. Considering a move to 7.0.0.3 just for netflix.
Works for me on CM and my DInc
Here's the apk
Working on my DX!!!
I'm streaming Law and Order right now!
Greatest.
Day.
Ever.
(until it stops working again like last time hopefully not)
Xoom trial coming soon.....!!

Im getting the exact same thing on latest CM7 nightly
Running stock (rooted) 2.2 and mine force closes immediately after trying to launch the app. Somebody mentioned something about Flash 10.3 so I updated and still get force close. Any ideas?
Not sure if this info helps, but it works fine on mine:
CyanogenMod-7-04172011-NIGHTLY-Inc

Sorry, I'm not sure how that converts to the actual nightly number, but its what I was able to gleen out of the Rom Manager.
So I got the Nexus S, i9023, after spending a good amount of time trying to figure how to do the Root, CWR, ROM, I still can't get things to work properly.
My main issues with the Nexus are the camera while recording cause it sucks!, the media playback controls on the lock screen and the speed of the unit in general, I mean N4G.com feels as if the phone was using a browser from the middle ages!!!!
I've been going around the forums but is kinda hard to read along threads of 100 pages of posts, not a guide with straight answers, just for the steps I have managed to accomplish I had to use Youtube, Google and another 4 pages + these forums to make sense of what's first and then go on "trial & error" cause some of the steps have updates on different pages that others don't even mention.
So, I was able to Root, CWR and then install CM7, then I reverted to stock cause the Market is gone.....lovely....but is even better afterwards.....
So the phone works on the stock Android again, but now I can't make the phone to boot on recovery again so I can use the CWM options, I can't make RM to install or run anything, the phone will simply does nothing...and if I try on flashing the Clockworkmod recov then I get a "an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!"........and I have SU installed.........
Btw, how do I install a kernel??? or flash the camera (if that's possible)....
Thx to any kind soul who could share it's own experience....
I recommend you do more reading and research before you flash anything. Cm7 does not come with market for legal reasons, you have to flash it separately. To flash a kernel you just download and flash it in recovery.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
In your current situation you need to use fastboot to reflash recovery and use recovery to reflash superuser.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
there is a one click root option which i keep on my desktop. way more than one click but i it does everything pretty much for u. try doing that.
Ns4g.com is bad because they have terribly coded flash content.

Hello all, thx for the replies, N4G can't be that bad since the issue repeats itself at other pages like cnn, espn or even worst if u try eltiempo.com (newspaper from Colombia), the last one lags horrible on pc using FF and doesn't even load as full page on the Nexus or my N8, that page is so badly designed that even the mobile version sucks (problem is the news back home are kinda best shown there....).
In any case, as I said before, "Trial & Error", I already have installed CM7, Liquid SR, Miui and Oxygen, loved Oxygen, kept Miui, Liquid is a nice idea but needs work and CM7 is a bit rough.
So far I've learned how to restore from an image of a previous ROM (kept my original backed up in case!!!), also how to reinstall SU in case I have to go back to stock, how to install a new kernel (thx to Google and not the Search in the forums!!!), I did also overclocked my NS to 1.2G and seems pretty stable.
Things I still don't like and will look in the future to solve are the issues with the camera, Miui fixes part of the issues with lag while recording, I got a snag during a test recording made today, also the controls are not that amazing for the camera, no Zoom???, and the Gallery is not a plain gallery but mainly a file browser which makes it confusing if u forget what folder ur supposed to check...
Also the issue with the battery not hitting 100%...kinda silly....
In all it's been good but the time spent is a pain, mainly cause there is no explanation about how to apply the files, what order, etc, is nice to find things here in XDA but is rather annoying to have to use Google to find things around...
Thx again for the replies!!!
Sorry if this has been solved before with ICS, but I'm stumped. I had a Moto Triumph before this. It had Gingerbread, and I installed CM7 onto it. Rooted, overclocked, the whole nine yards. I tried to install Flash from Play but it said it's not supported in my country (WTF, thanks, Adobe!) So I found an APK elsewhere and installed it. Bam! Flash works in Dolphin Browser. It's pretty slow, but it works.
Now, I did the same thing for my Photon Q and its preinstalled ICS. Any browser I try, including Opera Mini Next, Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin Browser and the default Android browser, I just get a blue cube icon where the flash object should be. I downloaded an app from Play that runs .SWF files and it displays the exact same blue cube.
Is there a workaround that anyone is aware of? If Adobe doesn't start supporting mobile devices, I think we'll be seeing Flash replaced before very long. By an open standard.
Officially Adobe has stopped supporting Flash via mobile going forward....but I believe you can still download/install the apk for whatever the last released version for each Android version via this link (you'll have to scroll down to where it lists 'Flash player for Android 4.0 archives' and grab the one at the top of that list in the case of the Q):
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Archived_Flash_Player_versions_for_developers
And that worked perfectly. Plays nice and smooth, too. Thanks a ton!

You're quite welcome....its not often I'm in a position to be able to help someone rather than being one of the ones asking questions but I was prepared on that one, I read that elsewhere and bookmarked it in my Photon Q folder for later use myself when I get one. I almost did this past weekend but decided to hold off still for now....then when I read in one of the other threads that Roam Control isn't (at least currently) working on it, that's kind of a deal breaker for me until that's fixed. Forcing roaming while at work is just shy of an absolute must unfortunately. :/
