Bricked

Strange issue, phone I have has been rooted and different ROMS installed since Froyo to GB many times without issues. Weird thing, up to the day I switched to iphone it was working. Decided to sell this phone and a week later wanted to get in to do factory reset, phone won't boot - all it does is Samsung logo flashes on and off forever. I've tried two different batteries, tried to enter recovery mode, won't work. I tried ODIN on two different ROMS also, including PIT option with PIT file, etc. Still phone won't boot.
What else to try? I don't understand why it won't work. Each ROM I tried, passed in ODIN with no errors.
use Samsung PST and the EP4P stock VZW file with the pit. You can find instructions laying around, and the file you're looking for is something like VZW_EP4P_bloated.tar or something
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
You could also try and re download the files maybe they got corrupt somehow. If you cant find the EP4P file you could do a EE4 or even ED2 and it would update from there.

[Q] Captivate bootloop

So, my i897 now thinks its an i9000. I tried flashing an i897 kernel (corn) over the i9000 kernel, but instead of overwriting, it merged with it and keeps booting into itself over and over again. I know how to get it out, but I need the original PIT, PDA, PHONE, and CSC files to flash via odin. If anybody has links for these, please post them.

[Q] i9000 will not root, only stock firmware boots

Hi there. I have read quite a few tutorials on rooting my phone. I did have it rooted at one point using odin and a package for cwm. It worked great. I wanted to try out one of the 4.* ICS roms, that worked fine.. sorted that out no problem but there was no gps so I wanted to go back to my rooted 2.3.6.
Went to put it back to standard with stock firmware, that also worked fine. The problem I have now is when I attempt to root using the same files, same settings and same utilities as before, It boots up to the samsung galaxy logo, then reboots and shows the logo again and again in an infinite loop.
I have cleared the user data and cache, and the root appears to work as the recovery program installs correctly, but it will not boot the OS.
When i flashed to stock I used odin.. the 512 pit file, the stock pda, phone and csc files. and that works perfectly but not when I root it!
Any ideas??
****UPDATE
I flashed with stock 2.3.5 firmware so that I could use samsung kies to flash my phone back to 2.3.6 so that it was 100% stock and kies now says that my device does not support firmware upgrades!!!
Seems as nobody can be arsed to answer my question I have researched and answered it myself...
If anybody has the same problem of Kies saying "Your device does not support firmware upgrades" all you have to do is go into the "About phone" section of the settings.. find the baseband version of your phone.. Mine was I9000XXJVT... find the lowest version of android on samfirmwares.com , mine was 2.3.4, install it..
then kies recognizes your phone again and will upgrade it to the latest version..
Oh by the way THANKS FOR YOUR HELP lol
This particular phone for record purposes upgraded to:
PDA:JW4 / PHONE:JW4 / CSC:JW5 (CPW) which im guessing is carphone warehouse..
I tried the samfirmware.com version of the latest CPW firmware they have and kies still said it would not update the firmware
and before all you geeks get on your high horse and say why didnt u do this and why didnt you do that..
I couldn't root my firmware after installing the CPW firmware as mentioned above from samfirmwares.com.. i was in an infinite reboot loop. I could load standard firmware from samfirmwares.com and it would boot fine, but I couldn't root it from that.
My aim was to get it back to standard and go from there.
One question.. pretty obvious really... I have searched high and low and still am yet unable to find a sofrware for BACKING UP my original firmware... this would be a pretty sensible idea??? yes???

[Q] Gt-I9300 Wont boot/Stuck on welcome screen

Hey
Ive seen a bunch of threads with similar problems yet after applying all the things people suggested I'm still stuck with the problem
So the telephone wont start up not normal nor in safe mode. The problem came out of nowhere while the phone was charging. In system recovery i get to see this screen (http://imgur.com/s54Miqc).
Ive tried all sorts of fixes:
Ive tried flashing 22 of the newest firmwares i found on sammobile
Ive tried the rescue firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30087735&postcount=6
- Ive tried both 4.1 and 4.3 although theres suppose to be a .pit file included and there wasn't one. i dont know how much that effects the process but Ive read on the forum that pit files are not to be played with anyway. If i do need a pit file, where could i get one and which one.
Ive tried factory reset, cache cleaning and all those things.
Nothing seems to work.
Ive also read that it could be a faulty motherboard or some kind of Sudden death bug.
So my question is does anyone know anything else i can try or have i done something wrong/ and what do I do with that .pit file
Thank you

S6 Frozen on logo Please help

Ok to cut a long story short managed to get the s6 in the rom but only when I install a unikernel either v6 or v8.
When in rom the imei is corrupt 350000000006?.
Is the unikernel doing this? if so I've tried loads of stock roms but all seem to freeze on the samsung galaxy s6 logo what can i do to fix this?.
I do have a efs folder as I used es explorer to check and there seem to be a lot of files in there the only one i couldnt see was modem and im unsure if it is kept in there, I have tried flashing a new bootloader and modem but they continue to fail in odin.
Any suggestions?, BTW have managed to revert my imei to original as on the back cover of the phone with software but even so it still says not registered on network even though there are signal bars, Ive tried going to network and search network it finds O2 vodafone etc but it just says unable to connect try later?
There must be some expert on here how can help?, also does anyone think flashing pit file will help?, if so do you know which one i need.
Thanks
Mav
