[THEME] BlueRaider Ported to SkyRaider 3 RC3

So I really loved the blue theme that Djkms did and so I ported it over to SkyRaider 3 RC3. I take NO credit for anything that I did. ihtfp69 created the great ROM and Djkms did all the theming work. I just copied and pasted and zipped files. If you want to see screen shots then go to This forum post by Djkms. I am NOT a themer or programmer so I have no clue how to fix the three issues that I found. If you like this theme then please donote to Dkjms. If you Love this ROM please donote to ihtfp69
Issue that I cannot fix.
1. The lock screen is not blue. I am not any good at PS so that is why this is not done. I am not a Themer.
To install just put it on your SDcard and boot into recovery and install.
I am not responsible for anything bad that might happen when you use this theme. I installed it without any issues and it is running fine.

I am really suprized that no one has posted about this Theme. I really like it. I have only had like 8 people even download it. Are people having issues with it or is it just that no one wants a blue theme for SkyRaider 3.0 RC3?

I used the newest version of the blueraider when I ported. I have not figured out the new status bar yet as I am not a programmer or themer.

Theme discussion for redemptive rom

greetings all. having used redemption rom for a bit i know the quallity of heyitslou's work. so much in fact i was hesitant to switch to redemptive, kinda like contempt prior to investigation if you will. man was i being a tard. this is the hottest thing going for our dincs opening a whole new theming world to us do to the evo framework. with all the questions being asked about specific compatibility with this rom and evo themes i thought i would start a thread where we could post our experiances theming redemptive.(please excuse my typing im a chef not an office assistant.)
for myself i started with riptide9s color and clear. i love blue and his thread has some pretty cool addons too. the only problem was his theme killed the animations so i switched to pimpshits nameless blue/black theme.it is based off of riptides theme and has full animations. he like lou is contantly working to either solve individual issues or patch in requests. i even use the riptide addons as not all of them kill the animations.
so post your screenies answers, questions, etc that have to do with theming redemptive rom. also please do a thread search before you ask simple questions as the redemptive thread has a huge following and im sure its difficult to respond timely to legitimate questions. remember guys like lou and pimp**** work for free making our dincs rock so if you can please donate.

How to make EVO themes work on Redemptive rEVOlution:
If you want to make EVO themes work on Redemptive rEVOlution there's only a few things to do...
If the theme includes framework-res.apk (most do) you will lose all the transitions from the Rom because this is where the files for the transitions exist this isn't a flaw in the Rom it's part of the theme. You can flash a theme with this file and it will work but if you lose your transitions that's why.
MMS: If you flash an EVO theme which includes framework-res.apk you will also lose the ability to send picture messages. I'v included this fix in the themed and un-themed versions of Redemptive rEVOlution version 1.8.

Use this to delete the current apns.xml file and install a new one this will fix the MMS problem.
If the theme contains the HTC Music app or widget these will work but they won't recognize your internal storage. This is just something you'll have to live with if you want to have the themed versions or you can port the theme over to the compatible Incredible versions.
If the theme includes the PCSII.apk use 7zip if you're on windows or Ark Manager if you're on linux to delete this out of the theme's zip file. This method won't require you to have to resign the theme's zip file before you flash it. PSCII.apk is what keeps Internal storage from mounting.
These few adjustments will allow you to flash almost any EVO theme without breaking anything else.​

and on a side note pimpshits theme has the external mount fix. not sure about the mms issue as i solved that through the fix posted in redemptive thread when both were having that issue.

If you like blue check out Matted Blues theme in the EVO forums it looks really well done very polished.

Worked fine for me. Flashed MattedBlue over Alpha theme and all seems to be ok.
I'd still run a Nandroid though...just in case. I did. So I can flip between Alpha or MattedBlue now

[THEME] ICS ROMS - Full Blue Theme (updated 3/26 for Evervolv p12)

I put this together real quick to get rid of the orange and green accents left behind in ICS. It is a modified framework-res.apk so flashing this will remove google accounts (just have to sign back in after reboot).
The colors I ended up with are not a perfect ICS blue but it's better than orange.
***UPDATED for Evervolv p12 but I did not include the dark apps. Just framework-res.apk... and some useless but fun CWM imagery.***
Previous versions include the inverted (holo dark) Contacts.apk, Mms.apk, and Calculator.apk from the Gnex forums here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467139.
If you don't want those apps you can open the update.zip in 7zip and delete them from /system/app directory.
Instructions:
Boot into Recovery (tested with CWM 5.something)
Nandroid Backup
Flash attached zip
Reboot
Works with:
Evervolv p12
Evervolv p9
72ls1's AOKP v.05
Abduction v1.5 HWA
Abduction v1.5 no hwa
Download the appropriate zip based on the rom you are using.

We'll see... I batch process most of it so its not too tough. I'm probably gonna do this to any new update I flash so I think its safe to say that it will stay relatively up-to-date.

Ok just did a quick comparison and some 7zip trickery. Should be working with both versions of Abduction v1.5. Remember to backup, download appropriate attachment, and let me know how it goes.

[THEME] TWuniversal Simple Red and Black (Updated 10.10.12)

This theme is the same layout as the simple blue and black, just changed all the blue to red. This has been updated to use the VRtheme system so it should now be able to be used on any TWbased rom. I have only tested on cleanrom and synergy, please make a backup and test on other roms and let me know the results so I can update the OP. Just flash in recovery, I recommend TWRP 2.2.2.0. It has to be the newest version for the VRtheme to work on TWRP. Brightness Slider addon in post 2 flash after the theme. It will only work on roms that have it there to start with, like synergy.

Great looking theme.
Just wanted to report that I tried flashing this on Beans (build 13) and after flashing, my wallpaper was solid black and I couldn't get my notification bar to appear. I tried the usual tricks to get it to show up (take screenshot, turn on torch, play Google Music, reboot) but no luck. I realize this theme was not made to be compatible with Beans and I did not expect it to work. I just wanted to test it out in case anyone else running Beans was curious. I'd be happy to test this out if you ever decide to try making it for Beans ROM. Thanks very much for your hard work. It's sincerely appreciated.

Yeah it wont work it is an odexed theme for a odexed rom. I will probably make it for all the deodexed roms once I get it all finished up.

Should have an update for this later this evening. I got the message app done and about 3/4 through the framework now. The framework takes forever lol theres like 2000 images to look through to change to red.

That would be awesome, I want that too.

The theme is now fully ported over and I changed it to use the vrtheme system so it will now work on any rom that is twbased. I have tested it on cleanrom 2.5 and synergy r73. It should now work on the older versions of cleanrom and the beans roms but have not tested. Just make a backup before trying and let us know the results so I can update the OP with all that roms that we know it works correctly on.

I wiped cache and davlik and flashed this using CWM (non touch) and it works perfectly in CleanROM 2.1
This was the final piece I was missing from my older Rezounds, I absolutely LOVE this theme.

Thank you so much for this theme. I absolutely LOVE it!!! The only thing I've noticed is that with Synergy Rom they have the brightness slider in the pull down down menu. After flashing this theme it removes that from the pull down menu. Is there any way I can get that back?

I'm on bean's build 2 (latest is B3) and I love it. It's very stable, themed to be AOSP-esque with some cyan blue, themeable clock size/position, battery look, nice notification shade with customizable toggles and aroma installer which is incredibly handy.

For stable/worry-free, go with scrosler's CleanRom 4.5, then choose one of the red themes from WasabiWa83's Ultimate OMG Theme .

There isn't a lot of themeing going on in that rom it's just a cleaner faster version of stock.
