Need a VOIP SIP Client that works..

Hi everyone.
I need a SIP Client to make voip calls using my provider, which is Telepac (from portugal).
I have tried using Fring and it works only for the first call, after that it always terminates the call as it starts dialing (i dont know why..). Still, the call i've made i noticed that i need my cruise head phones to be able to hear/speak correctly.
So, does someone know a better application to make voip calls?
I need to be able to save my SIP configuration, username, pass and proxy, and to be able to talk without using my head phones.
Any help is appreciated.

Ageet's AGEPhone 2.5 worked really good on my trinity when I had it. Sound came out normally through the internal ear speaker, not the rear speaker like most apps out there, so no headphone was needed. I don't know if it supports internal speaker for the Polaris, but you could give it a try. It's really good VOIP software.

can u make voip calls using the SIP addon? If so, can you save your SIP configuration? I always have to select "Other", thus never saving a configuration

i do not use these feature...so cannot help you..

Fring has long delays and you send them your passwords in clear text!

Anybody tested Ageet's AGEPhone 2.5 on the Polaris? Can you make a phone call using the internal ear speaker (not for speaking free with the speaker on the rear side)?

I have had good luck using Gizmo5 (www.gizmo5.com ) in the past. They are Open Source and connect to many other VoIP companies.
For just software, many years ago, I had SJphone working. ( http://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.html).
Both are FREE and good luck

it is supported i have test it htc hd2
but ill need voice control dutch anyone

yeah im the same voice works for me on my hd2 but as it states no turn by turn navigation,,,, would any1 know if they would do it ?? looks like its just for android

Remains Labs and navigation then we will have the complete google maps... hope to see that they ...
P.S will be good to have flash support either... (as androids will have)

Any idea what's the reason behind this?

For those having issues dloading it. Use IE to download. It works.
ANd I had asked this in another post, but has anybody gotten it to work with the Digital Compass? I can't get mine to work with it.

It is probably because the "useragent" setting in Opera cannot be recongized by the web server.

Are you kidding? Skype original doesn´t support Win mobile 6.5.! I found Skype for WM 3.0 and it doesn´t work anymore.

I know about Nimbuzz and Fring. Try google mate.

i'm not fcking kidding it's working with no probs... last week been ot Romania and got no coverage , i found a WiFi network , connected and talked to my family for a while so it works like a charm !

of course, original Skype app for WM 3.0, it was first, what I tried. But it didn´t work. Maybe I found and downloaded on Google bad version...

I have the SkypeMobile.CAB with File-Date 19.06.2009 (most of the internal files have this date) already installed. And skype works 'fine', it depends on the connection, but no software-problems at all.
Sorry, but I can´t remember, where i get this cab-file and it is nearly 12MB, so it´s to big.

I have an EXT package for the now discontinued Skype app, and it works fine on WinMo 6.5.5. If nobody beats me to it, I will CAB is up when I get home tonight and post it here.

P.S. lol the cab is 12mb large and the max from XDA is 8mb ... so pm with ur skype/[email protected] and i'll send it to ya !

Skype 3.0 works great on my HD2 WM 6.5.3...

downloaded from this site , transferred the file to my memory card and tried to install it from there but the phone says that it is not a valid pocket pc app

Nimbuz recently keep failing to sign in to skype and so far Skype stopped supporting Windows Mobile devices

Also three network which provides free skype calls, recently stoped providing the preconfigured skype app to work on WM phones, no longer available to download.

I have the same problem, the sound is only available through the external speaker of the phone. The only solution I have is to connect the included headset, this way I can use also the microphone of the headset.

I have the same problem with skype. Its not working on 1.66.479.2.
5mins of loading and error.
Nimbuzz is working on Wifi. But its not that good like skype.

I did not think skype was available on windows mobile anymore? if it is where do you get it?
