I have come across this Thread and already got stuck on step # 1
My phone does not get recognized by the software and is also not listed on the list.
Would that mean my phone can not be flashed?
But then when I look at the different types of Roms, I found Sensation XE Roms, here.
So what's next I should do? And is it possible to flash at all?

I wanted to unroot my HTC Sensation XE.
I want to make sure that i wont be bricking my phone.
At this moment i have downloaded the RUU:
RUU_Pyramid_LE_HTC_Europe_1.73.401.4_Radio_10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2_release_220036_signed

is this the right RUU for my phone ? i have restored it to stock now and at software it says 1.73.401.4 , also my phone is a Europe version i suppose since i bought it here.
Do i have to use this ROM to get it back to unrooted stock?

did it work for u? i am also having a problem because i want to unroot and go back to the stock rom of sensation xe but i dont know how to do it..im new to this and its just that i bought a used phone but unfortunately its already rooted and has custom rom "revolution 3.6.8"...im having a problem with it and it is lagging everytime.....please HELP the newbie!

I've got an HTC Sensation XE (GSM) on Orange UK. Intelligently, I didn't back up the stock ROM before flashing a new one on there. Anyone know how I might get hold of the Orange branded ROM for my phone? Failing that just a stock HTC ROM? Feel pretty let down by a few apps refusing to work on a rooted phone.

Recently I buy Sensation XE from a mobil shop, but after few days i recognise that cellphone is upgraded to 4.0.3 (ISC) and is rooted and now i want do downgrade to the stock firmware 2.3.5. Pls guys tell me that there is a way how to downgrade my cellphone.

I would like to know too how can i check which ruu is for my xe...
I got my xe already rooted when i bought it.
You need to take LE version, for example:
RUU_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_HTC_Europe_3.25.401.101
RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.24.401.1
The first one is the one you need! Of course you need to check the corresponding version to the GB version you're looking for, i just grabbed the first version available to show you the difference! The GB versions start with 1.(some numbers here).

And check carrier (e.g. Vodafone UK) if your original stock rom was carrier specific, or if you do not have superCID. For example I would have to use ruu below to match my handset, region, software (my device was not carrier specific):

let me ask u another few questions:
1. Prubably my RUU is RUU_Pyramid_LE_HTC_Europe_1.73.401.4_Radio_10.58.9 035.00U_10.15.9035.02 because my Sensation XE is Europe version and is never lock. Is this correct?
2. To install this RUU i juns need to run is from PC with connected phone in debug mode, or i need to do something else?

Hello everyone i am new to the sensation xe forums so i had some questions, so i am extremly familiar with flashing roms flashing kernels and what not but i soon will be puchasing aa HTC sensation XE to use on T mobile USA but my question was if i install and flash Roms to an unlocked phone will it loose the unlock if it does what can i do about, also will the HTC sensation XE get 4g Service?
to my knowledge you won't loose the unlock.
my sensation is unlocked and I've checked to see if I can still use other sim cards after flashing different roms and I've been able to every time.
and yes it does get 4g service

Hi could someone please tell me as to which forum i need to be following now i have got my phone back from being repaired after a bad flash
I have a uk t-mobile htc sensation XE but there is not an XE forum do i want to be in the Sensation forum or in the XL forum. Dont want to have to send it away again
The sensation and the sensation xe are the same phone, same hardware, same everything apart from model id. The xe has a different model id and the stock kernel detects this and adjusts the max cpu speed as necassary.
You should follow the Sensation forums. Sensation XL is different phone altogether
