[Q] Which HD7 ROM, Radio and Bootloader? - Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After discovering I cant really do anything with the Chevron Labs unlock ive decided to try and downgrade my bootloader and flash a ROM with the interop Unlock and i have no idea where to begin
I currently have Mango RTM with the 5.0.2250 bootloader and Radio version 5.69.09. My question is how exactly do i downgrade my boot loader to a usable version and which radio do i need for Australia?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913748
The problem is, you're not making yourself very clear. You trying to unlock 7392 or 7004 or installing unlocked 7004? I'm sure there is no such thing as unlocked 7004, 7004 can be unlocked however
i upgraded my phone with built7392 but the phone was not unlocked. Now, i downgraded the phone with htc eurobe 1,23 to unlock the phone. It is build 7004 right now. but no matter what i do, i can not unlock it. I made the first update and i became 7008 but isn't unlocked again. I suppose i have done all the thing as said. chevron always gives the same error message.

What is the easiest way to unlock mango

I was reading on how to unlock mango but you have to flash all the way back to nodo and then back mango and its a pain. has anyone found an easier way if you have mango already instaled or with just flashing a mango unlocked rom
btw i have an HTC Arrive

Cant unlock nodo need help

Basiclly I had mango installed on my phone and saw that everyone was unlocking them and so I went back to my nodo backup. I was reading a tut that was ment for pre nodo and it didnt say that so I hard reset my phone. After looking everywhere on how to unlock nodo I found nothing. So Now I have a stock nodo rom on my phone is it possible to unlock it and then bring it up to mango still unlocked. Btw I have an HTC Arrive
u would have to flash back to pre nodo rom then unlock with chevron and use tut to pass chevron unlock to mango
Where is a rom I could download/use for my phone. Htc Arrive,I got my phone with nodo already on it so I dont have a pre nodo backup
check out these two threads ... depending on what carrier u have though

Where can I find the htc-flasher for windows 7 I only find the one for linux
what do u mean ? just do as it says in step C the flashing instructions the romupdate utility is for windows 7
sorry I thought I need a tool or something
Ok i tried that but it says it doesnt see my phone do i have to put into bootloader mode and how do I do that
edit:nvm found out
OK I go it to flash but now it thinks its an HTC MWP. Also It still wont let me unlock it. Can someone please help me. I flashed it so its now version 7392 so can it be unlocked
what carrier do u have and what country
I have sprint and USA. Also I am now at nodo and Im preety sure I read that its impossible for the HTC arrive
Sorry, you CANNOT have HTC Arrive without NoDo. NoDo added CDMA support which is needed to operate on Sprint's network.
yea day2die is right sorry ... looks like u need to flash the sprint nodo rom back on to ur phone
that really sucks. Well can I flash pre nodo with out any service and then unlock. then flash to sprint rom
you would have to wait and see if there will be a custom rom avail which would be already unlocked and have to use rspl for the bootloader to allow u to flash a custom rom... but then u wont be able to update through sprint probably

Interop unlock: HTC 7 Trophy/Spark

Hi,
after I sent my Trophy to a HTC repairment center, they gave it back to me with the newest OS. Therefore my interop unlock is come. Now I would like to have it interop unlocked, again.
My system information:
OS-Version: 7.10.8107.79
Firmwarerevision: 2250.21.51201.162
Hardwarerevision: 0003
Radio: 5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21U
Bootloader: 5.12.2250.1(134400)
Chip-SOC-Version: 2.2.5.0
As I know, its not possible to unlock it anymore, therefore I tought of installing a custom rom. For this I would need to install HSPL first, dont I? And for HSPL I need to downgrade my OS because of the version. I read somethign about the goldcard method, but did not understand evertyhing. Which OS version do I need to chose for the "device-specific .nbh image"?
It would be really kind if you could answer my questions - looking forward to help
Thanks...
Are you a Spark or Spark_W user (Verizon CDMA model). Anyway about it, check in the Trophy area on this site. THere is a lot of info for both models.
As my case, I have a Verizon Trophy. I was on the same level as you.
I needed to HSPL, down grade the OS version, then I could flash a rom. Your on the right path.
Goldcard method is if your partly bricked, it does not sound like your at that point.
When chosing your rom, just make sure you use the correct rom for your phone, a SPARK (GSM) rom should not be used on a SPark_W (CDMA) and back.
Good luck...
Hi,
I have a normal Spark (Vodafone). If I want to downgrade the OS I need to use the goldcard method or? And which image do I have to choose? Because there are a lot of them available. Does it make a difference, which branding I have?
Thanks for the answer
/EDIT: http://www.filefactory.com/f/0dacfac3a33cc378/ I have this list, but no clue, which version I need to choose...
From a 5XXXX bootloader, I believe you'll need to use GoldCard or SLSPL to downgrade to a HSPL-compatible version. GoldCard is the method that I know will work.
And which version should I use? Because I am kinda confused becuase of the mass of available versions...
Would this version work on my vodafone branded phone? "RUU_Spark_S_Vodafone_DE_5.12.162.01_5.69.09_RELEASE.exe"
Or which version would you recommend?
Thanks
Would this work?
Please tell me whether this will work...Or which version I should use instead of this.
