[Q] HTC HD7 Windows update to 7.5 - General Questions and Answers

Hi everyone,
This is my first post and it seems like this website has a lot of people who can possibly help me out! so i just started updating a HTC HD7 that i just got however at point where i have to update from 7.0 to 7.1, the following error code comes up "80180048." now i called HTC and they could not resolve the problem so I am thinking I'll have to flash up to Mango! SO if anyone knows how to fix the issue normally OR how to flash up to Mango, help would be greatly appreciated.
Disclaimer: i did see the thread about the whole flash and upgrade and all that but i didnt know if my case applied, if it did call me the forum noob !

[Q] Nexus S / Axura 1.1.1.0 - Bluetooth Problem?

Hey all,
I've finally found a ROM which suits my needs perfectly. Everything is spot on and
I'm really happy with it - but I came to sending someone a file via bluetooth today and it appears I can't send or receive anything over bluetooth...
Can anyone else confirm this? I can pair with another device easily but any actual transfers fail on both send/receive.
Thanks
Please do not open new threads for ROM specific questions, you'll get better answers, faster posting ROM specific questions on their ROM specific thread while also cutting down on the new thread clutter.
Thanks for the advice but I tried posting in the relevant ROM section and it said I wasn't authorised to do so, it pointed me in the direction of the Q&A section.
Does anyone have any helpful advice?

He meant in the rom thread, not the development section.
Also, I don't have this issue.. Are you sure it isn't the device that you are trying to send/receive stuff from??

Android on HD2, advice please.

Hey
I'm sorry for posting this question in this thread but I had two threads opened and I realized that I posted in the wrong thread when it was already too late.
So I edited this post because I cannot delete it.
Could you please help me...I tried to install Android on my htc hd2 and I wanted to download Android (MDJ FroYo HD
v4.6 (Dec 19)) but i donĀ“t want to spam your forum with my unquallified posts to get the permission.
Thanks
Hi Jasmin,
I have moved this to general Q&A you can still download the rom of your choice without spamming
What are you after? Nand or run from SD? You do know that MDJ's roms have been taken down, but there are many others to chose from
What experience d you have with flashing your HD2, have you hardspl yet?
Cheers.

[Q] HELP :(

Hello everyone i just started flashing my htc hd2 phone and it was doing ok but when i got to the part when im about to put the rom on my phone my laptop froze and i took my phone off from the usb and took off the battery now when i turn my phone on it goes to mgldr and its not sync to my pc and now i don't know what to do please help
i just realized that i posted this thread on the wrong discussion and im sorry because i was freaking out gonna go post this on the right one because i don't know how to delete this thread <-----noob T_T
Try doing a factory reset from magldr and see if that helps. Otherwise, look into flashing a ROM directly from your SD card. There's plenty of help about that in the HD2 development forums...

Just select the Android or Windows Phone forum - whichever is relevant - and do lots of reading in there.

Take johnc's advice. Also make sure u always have a backup no matter how little a change your doing to your phone. These phones are computers and you never know what can happen.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
So sorry i cannot help you

hi i have a htc hd2 that runs windows 6.5 native and runs android2.2 from sd card! but it has stopped loading android!it gets as far as android man with circles but does not go any further? could you plz help me? i am a noob to this kinda thing and dont really understand how these things work! my phone has been rooted and this was how i purchaced it! i wouldn't mind having Android nativebut don't know how to do this? any help would be greatly appreciated! many thanks
First of all, go to the correct forum for help with this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=743
Then, read, read, read, read, read and then read some more. You'll looking to install Magldr (magloader) which will allow you to run Android at boot, rather than from running Haret in Windows.
Start off reading the sticky threads in the Q&A, general and development forums and then take it from there. There's LOTS of info so you can get the answer to almost any question you have just from reading.
Good luck, and have fun
