try these tools i've posted here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=682415 it's the same process.
it's best to edit the shellres.dll that your phone is using. so do a search for extraction tools.

ok, i couldn't dump it from the rom. but i seen the build is 28004, so i grabbed it from another thread that's around here.
i would back up your stuff, just to be on the safe side.
also some different tapres.dll's. colored, silver, and white. <--"i did not make any of these, so no credit can go to me."
Edit!!! shellres.dll zip removed.

sorry, worked on my BJ1. thought it would work for your BJ2.
i've edit that several times in the past for myself, never had a problem. i'll remove it so no one else will use it, since it doesn't work.

as far as checking the app folder, the odex file does not match what was attached and pasted on /system/app folder? possible culprit?

Got it working now. Deleted the odex files for Phone and Dialertabactivity and now it works.
Just letting you guys know if in any case you encounter the same problem.

Can someone post the Stock Samsung keyboard apk found in N7000 galaxy note? I want to install it on my AT&T galaxy note.
JFYI, the at&T note doesn't come with the same keyboard found on the international version.

I requested the samsung keyboard.apk before on an LRK ROM. A good hearted fellow (inside my thread on that link) was kind enough to show me some examples/and process how to get the keyboard.
I'm not sure though if this will work on your ROM considering your using the AT&T version. As you know most ROMs are developed for each specific device (somebody correct me on this).
Anyway, I'd like to put a disclaimer that I'm not responsilble in any way should there be some issues (that arises) after following the said instructions inside that link, And any upcoming questions (from following that instruction), please kindly direct it to the said fellow (DrivingDroids, credits to him by the way and don't forget to thank him as well) who laid out that instruction.

hello there am looking for a themer or a thread ho can help me edit some icons in a app
Am using a galaxy Young, HYPERION 9 ROM
i already know how to decompile and change icons and recompile and it work always but in that system/framework and as most ROM has now , there is that framwork-res.Apk and another one with the name of the rom-res.Apk like hyperion-res.Apk
anyway i need someone ho can edit those icons for me please i already have the originale app and the modded one in res/dawable-hdpi
please can you copy the edited app icons to the normal one and still work so i can change those icons :

If I understand your question correctly, I think you want something like Go Launcher. It has many themes. But if u want to keep everything the same and only change a few icons, I suggest Nova Launcher Prime.

or use HKThemeManager if you're running on stock.

i dont think you understand guys, what i wantto do is change those nitification icon from /res/Drawable-hdpi and for that you need to know about decompile and compile apps , anyway for that i found the app that do that and its hyperion-res.apk i alrady put in in attachement i need some expert in modding to do that

Hi,
You might know that there is no custom roms or bootloader unlock for the SM-J100Y.
While I was experimenting with an android kitchen, I have made a custom rom for the SM-J100Y.
It does not have the google play store or any other google apps. I wanted to make it kinda privacy based.
If you want to root the phone with the stock firmware or the custom rom here. You would have to download a edited boot.img file and use iRoot for pc. iRoot install ads and dangerous spyware, so please don't use it. I got F-Droid working by side loading it into /system/prev-app.
The custom rom features are:
Includes F-Droid without root permissions.
Fast to boot up and use.
Device status will not get changed to unofficial.
Only works on Australian SM-J100Y such as Optus Prepaid or other carriers.
In case anything goes wrong you can download the stock rom by searching "Stock rom for Samsung SM-J100Y" on Google.
To install it:
1. Make sure you have the stock rom installed and on a clean installation.
2. Open ODIN and click on AP and select the file you have downloaded.
3. Once done, your phone should reboot and the rom should have been installed.
