I just flashed the Doctorz rom, and my timestamps on incoming messages are like 5 hours earlier. Tried flashing different modem, no fix. Is there a way to fix this?

Can anybody confirm that it DOES work on stock sgs4g rom? And if it *does* - do you have root?

Stock email.apk. I got a message that the app couldn't load and options were to report or OK. I went back to CM10 for awhile while I decide if I want to stay with JB or go back to ICS.

I tried the AOKP rom and it worked like any other ICS rom does but the calling has a popping and clicking just like on the ICS version of MIUI. It has happened on any ICS rom I have used/tried so far. I am using the March 11th BB... could that be the issue??

Yep its the baseband. Pretty sure there's a sticky that has the fix in it. Or just a high rated post in general talk.

You could always just download a different sms app.
I have tried several custom roms and almost everything works but SMS I can send but can't receive and I have not found a fix can anyone point me in the right direction
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app

Had this problem on my brothers g2x, but not mine. it appears to have a different hardware set then my phone. I did talk to mazout a bit about this. it seems that flashing the trinity kernel, is the only way to fix it. If you are on a jb build the latest faux kernel also works if I recall.
Thanks I will give it a try
