Have I on the original version and basic KPN untouched, I connected to kies and finds no update, tells me I have the latest, KPN, then try looking for updates from the device and tells me there is no type update, which I have the last, so do not know where he get that lockscreen, but I do not appear anywhere and so I think it is false that update, I hope I'm wrong and there really. bye

There is a guy in a spanish forum that started saying that he had KPN installed in his scl. Then he went to Settings and Firmware update, and he found that he had a new one: I9003XXKPP (2.5.6). He posted a photo and we thought it was a fake. Then he uploaded a video of his own and the kies ScreenCapture with KPP installed in his device. The rest of the people don't have that update in Settings or in Kies...

Something strange happened to me today. I got text from AT&T today saying an update was available for my phone and to press ok when prompted. I am running Acura RC1 so I wont be doing an OTA upgrade, but I found this text interesting.

If you would have searched, you would have found that people are receiving this message from AT&T if they are running anything other than JF6. So everyone running these custom ROMs have the potential to get a OTA "upgrade" to Eclair.

It's not even the search function. There's at least two new threads on "mystery text messages" a week.
About 1 week ago when I checked for update manually I got the message there is. (2 small ones and after a bigger one). Several people installed it (talked to them on internet). Some days later I wanted to install it and it says there is no available. I contacted HTC but I have not got any useful answer. T-mobile Hungary. Actual one: 1.28.401.1. The update would be: 1.47.401.4.
Could anyone help me what the problem could be?
This update was peace of s....We all have now broken WIFI, that is why it dissapeared...
Up to now none of the people who intalled the update and I am in contact has noticed WIFI problem. I asked again them about it.
In Poland, on T-mobile phones, all users have broken WIFI, HTC claims to repair it soon
2-3 people answered my question up to now. Nobody has problem. It is very strange.
I also got the update message, so I downloaded the update, but when installing it my phonescreen shows an error..
Update ( 1.47.401.4 (35.39)) is still there and ready to download/install on my phone.

Based on your posts above, it seems you guys haven't changed your ROMs to any Custom ones.. Just a quick question though, has anyone of you experienced the so-called Wi-Fi Death Grip? I trying to find ways to fix it. Please check here.

I get that as well, don't know if STAMINA mode is the cause but there is a delay in the clock widget and system time updating. Truth be told that problem was there since the ICS firmware on 2011 Xperia's. Just wait for a bug fix or get used to it.

Yeah, 4.2.2 is a lot buggier than 4.1.2, 4.1 was actually quite stable.

as a year passed since i bought my Asus TF700KL in germany, I now decided to root it and change firmware.
In fact, this tablet was very slow, and the ram is always full. dunno what to do. I tried deactivating most of the asus apps and some google apps, but still is slow as I can't bear.
unfortunately I'm a noob, therefore I'll need your help
1) I follow the guide for rooting, but the app won't install... when I try to install the V7 unlock app, downloaded from asustek website, it just says that "app not installed". dunno what to do else.

The VF in your build number stands for Vodafone, the LTE carrier in Germany. So you want the VF version.

Just now I connect my Galaxy S6 to PC & found there is update with build G920FXXU3COJ1. When I was trying through software update it says I'm uptodate but when connected with SmartSwitch it gives there is update. Anyway I want to ask what's the new in this build since it still on android LP 5.1.1.
