I agree with you 100%, I have tried Ivan, Helmi, Kamal, Midget_1990, Laurentius26, Jwrightmcps and Viet....and the winner is "DARK FORCE"
But not sure which version of Dark Force to use? I have WM6_21002_WWE_11500, is that the latest

yes Darkforce Rom is very good as per i think

yes, its the same version i'm running too. Its fantastic! Works flawless! No resets ever since i've flashed it!
However, i feel that the response is not as snappy as the other wm6 roms though...takes a tad bit longer for menu rollouts etc. but, hell its as stable a wm6 rom i've seen so far! Zero phone/radio issues, no lock ups, no mem leaks....cant ask for more!

Well, i'm just as keen as you m8 They're truly the best out there!!! It was worth the trouble i took in searching, finding and flashing it with darkforce. I wasted a lot of time trying and testing a 100 other wm6 variants....all of which just didnt work for me....it kept crashing, phone issues blah! Got so tired, 3 days back, i went back to wm5 for a day! Finally got hold of darkforce and flashed it....wow! is it good or what???!! Finally a usable Wm6!!!

From experiance evry rom works differently for different Unis.
I will try one of thouse, but i am perfectly happy with Kamal's version!

it has radio 1.15....
in the ext rom, its empty! but by default, the ext_rom is open for read/write so u can use it as an extra 10 meg space on ur device.
the default apps it comes with are standard....different ones are - voice recorder application, adobe acrobat reader le, SAPSettings (sim access profile over btooth), and all latest versions of apps running. The phone application is extremely responsive and never takes a minute to wake up on a call etc. Click on "Call" it calls IMMEDIATELY, hit "disconnect" it doesnt take a minute to realise u hit the button! Thats what i like about it! The phone functionality is flawless which is very important to me!
Take the time, upgrade, i'm sure you wont regret it!

i have to agree with ya'll this is the BEST rom so far. 1 bug, though. keyboard backlight is always on when I press a key on my JASJAR, regardless of the surrounding light

What VGA software should i use on it? i used midget_1990_realvga_wm6.cab and it didn't like it ...

I have notice something strange !
When i recieve sms, my htc wake up and the notification came 30seconds later ...
But it's not the only thing neither the most strange.
When i sent a sms, i write it and then send it.
I turn off my htc.
After some seconds, my htc wake up and then nothing ! no notification !
I have check that the notification delivery are request in the option menu.
And there is another problem, when i recieve sms, sometimes, i have no notification at all ! Just the htc who wake up and nothing. I must open the messaging menu to retrieve my sms ...
Can someone help me please ?

Don't think this is due to my radio rom because i try different rom, this is work perfect with the other and i don't change my radio rom still.
My radio rom is 1.09

I used this ROM for the longest time, probally the stabalist version of WM6 I've tried.
However as time went on it seemed to slowdown more and more, and eventually it started hanging on me.

Truely one of the best Roms. I have tried all and come back to this one.

Microphone problem

Hi guys. I have been having some problems with the microphone during a call. And I was wondering if it happened to any of you guys. Or if your know how to fix it
When I am I a call, the person I’m speaking with can’t hear me good because they hear all the noise in the room or the surrounding
I’m using octavo´s newest rom but it happened with almost every wm6 rom or since I remember.
The radio rom that I use is 2.07.10 that is the original from the qtek wwe rom that have no missed calls for me
I’ll appreciate any information that you can provide me to fix it..

The people keep saying that my phone can do almost every thing but doesn’t work to make calls

Im using 2.25.11 from TMO and there is 2.69 and the newest 2.71. You can find 2.71 in the Boring ROM thread.

Newest is not the best
The newest Radio ROM is not necessarily the best. It seems by what I read mostly here and my own 14min of experience, that the TMobile UK 2.19.11 is the most stable.
As for the volume settings here are some registry settings that I found somewhere here several months ago. They have the default settings and point to the settings I use. You'll notice 4 keys with the name AUDIOGAIN, All of the settings should be the same in all of the registry keys. I think the one you should be playing with is the "INTERNAL_RECORDING_GAIN"=hex:06". I havent messed with that one too much. I was having the same problem before my current flash. Mine works great with my current TNT 1933 Pro with 2.19.11 radio.

TLR Kaiser Hybrid 1.08.02.04, 6.1 VF ROM / VF Radio + HTC OEM + CF removed

As the title says, this is a WinMo 6.1 hybrid, with Vodafone ROM + Radio (both newest), OEM section from the HTC latest build and .net CF / SQL Mobile removed so that you can switch between either 2.0 or 3.5 installs at your leisure using the appropriate CAB (good for developers who are testing!)
This ROM is therefore 'in a HTC style' but with the good bits from the Vodafone ROM.
NO OTHER CHANGES!
Aside from .net changes, the contents of this ROM are completely stock.

am using this rom now and i like it!
works fast, after tweaks and all - very very nice
tried the 3.03 one - nice and fast but couldn't handle the cannot soft reset issue
i soft reset quite often to keep memory and all clean and neat
so didn't like having to pull my stylus to do that all the time esp when i notice the stylus holder getting a little looser...
then tried the vodafone one
everything was ok - but seemed to be laggy on some programs (visible on graphics and video)
then i got onto this hybrid! and must say i am really quite happy.
used ppchanger to set to 50mb but just read a post by tom_codon that it doesn't actually change the pp and it has to be done by XIP so not sure if that madeany difference...

it works great, but has a MoDaCo thing on splash screen xD.. that sucks.. well maybe a splash screen flash can fix it..
well.. in general it works fine, it looks like the HTC stock rom and it has better performance than the other 2 "official" versions.

I like this ROM as well, been good so far.
One oddity which I'm not sure if was the case on the stock Vodafone ROM, is when I've imported text messages from a backup these are not sorted correctly in the threaded SMS. For example all the ones I've sent are at the end and all the ones received are at the beginning, so they are not sorted from a backup and so are not threaded correctly. When new texts arrive these are okay and show as expected. This could be a problem for those who like to keep a history of texts and need to restore from a backup.

Seems to be working great so far on my ATT Tilt. TMobile subscriber. BUT, I need to get the CF back on, so I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to do this. Also, do you do anything to the bluetooth stack that should impr0ve performance over OEM?

You can use KaiserTweak... works great with me !

OK, new issue... the keyboard is not working exactly correctly with this ROM on my Tilt. The keys are remapped for the function combos (perhaps others, but have not noticed). I'll search for a solution, but if anyone can point me in the right direction...

use the tilt keyboard fix. u can find it in duttys place.

TNT 1921 VM problems?

Greetings all.
I have flashed the TNT WM6 build (5.2.1921; build 18521.0.7.0 from the About screen) on my 8125, and I'm quite happy with it. Seems stable enough, works well (although I wish I could customize the HTC Launcher!).
But I am having problems with voicemail and text messages not showing up on the device. Is this typical of these builds? Is there one anyone could recommend that helps solve this problem? An upgrade to TNT's latest?

I dont understand why you use this verion.
I use TNT 4.0 becouse this rom is stable and wifi connect with my preferred network seameless.
This version dont have the poblem with voice mail and text messages not showing up.
This is my suggestion.

Help me out, folks...
I downloaded the TNT 19213 ROM on Solomhamada's recommendation, and it's telling me the Update Manager is out of date.
WTF?
I would think that the download would come with correct Update Manager.
What to do? I'm back to WM5 and about to throw various electronic devices against walls...
(and excuse me if I'm being dense and a basic newbie.)

Lunch at shpping every day and also in free wifi.
Any ROM different from OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01 have an issue with wifi auto-conect in my preferred network.
And i need this functionality.
If you dont need you should be the WM6.1 ROM.
If you need de more stability, try the Business ROM (jwzg).

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't help me if I can't download the ROM onto my 8125. The Update manager on the ROMS I've downloaded are out of date, according to the installation wizard. The phone disconnects from the Autosync, does not reconnect, and the screen goes all three-color. I didn't have this problem putting WM5 back on the device. I'm also now losing onboard memory.
If I need a new Update Manager, let me know where to get it.

Help needed ROM Vodafone HTC Pro Touch

dear users,
i bought a simlock netlock free HTC Pro Touch with vodafone branding. It is all good, except after building up a GPRS connection Internet Explorer and Opera do not work.
Google Maps, Email and Youtube work, so do the browser when using WiFi.
But browser with GPRS nothing works.
a) is there a trick, i guess the branding might do that
b) where can i find a ROM with google maps and radio and youtube in the classy HTC look ?
c) i found a diamond rom, do they work as well (keyboard difference) ?
i flashed my mda pro and vario 3 to WM 6.1, so i have some experience there. but with this one i do need help.
i do not need the latest and greatest ultimate super hero RUU, just a stable running HTC system with gmaps, YT and radio and the standard applictaions.

I flashed this one on my Vodafone TP:
HTC Touch Pro German Rom
It's a HTC Rom and for me it just works well till there is a update against the GPS lag available.
