Can someone download heimdal for me and place it in a .zip file? My Nokia doesn't want to download it when i try to. I need the Linux 64 bit front end and the commanline. My Nokia doesn't download the jar files for some odd reason.

My PC doesnt have internet access. The only internet access I have is my phone.

had anyone having problems connecting their phones to their pcs ever find a fix?
my phone still won't get recognized by my laptop. not to sure why. it hasn't been able to recognize it since i flashed to gb. my wife has the same phone stock and the laptop sees hers fine.
things I've tried:
reinstall drivers
restarts
kies
different rom
different laptop
different cables
download mode
factory resets
debug mode and ask on connection
deleting the usbs from device manager
like i say my wifes phone can get recognized by my laptop. i think the bootloaders for gb has something to do with this problem but that's just me thinking.
i get an unknown device error in device manager. also when i was installing the drivers and
hooked up the phone it seemed to fail on CSc and adb our something can't really remember

In what way are you trying to get your device recognized? Mass storage or download mode?

i really want to flash a new rom but i can't cause the pc won't recognize the phone in anyway. the rom i have now doesn't have cwm and i can't odin cause of this issue.

yeah it reads the sd card by it self. thanks i didn't try that but i also did try no sd card and no sim card in the phone with same problem

Heimdall runs on different drivers than kies or Odin. Uninstall kies and Odin then install heimdall and the drivers.

Your computer sees your device it just doesn't know what it is. I thinks this is because Odin jacked up your device drivers. many people have this issue and can resolve it by reinstalling the drivers combined with a different version of Odin. Did I mention Odin is unstable? Lol.

use the kj6 with beta 2d kernel one click. The kernel is still beta but it's stable and has voodoo cwm.
If you have trouble installing drivers try using your other stock device for driver installation.

Download to your computer first, thrn copy it to your internal sd card.

The stock phone browser normally fails at downloading zip files - unless there is an app on the phone that associates itself with them. For instance, zArchiver is an app that can handle zip files. Since I have it on my phone, I am able to download zip files with the stock browser. Another option to download on the phone is to use a third party browser like Dolphin.

If you're trying to run the original .jar it will have to be run under linux/OSX...though there is a windows port as well.

The .jar works perfectly fine on Windows assuming you have java installed. Windows typically requires more effort to get everything set up and Adam didn't feel like dealing with those issues by outright saying it supported Windows.
Ok i have my infuse runing on jb 4.2.2 and i wanna go back to stock i know how to do it the problem is this,i have all i need in my laptop but my laptop is broken so i borrow my friend laptop and i want to know if i need to install kies mini to get odin to work..
You don't need kies, just the infuse device drivers. Install the smaller of the two files available here:

You need to visit that link from your pc, and install the drivers on your pc. If you use your phone it will redirect to an invalid address, as you have seen.
The other drivers psal linked are newer but should still work...

Yep. It says it all. I cannot use any apk root tool unless I use the PC especially odin. And honestly, I am not allowed to use any computer and if I get odin there, someone will get mad! Is there any good solution. I am using this situation attached as an example. Thanks!

Get Odin. Only way as far as I know. Can't use a computer? Get a job, then buy one
