It is a mini-programm you can make your own keyboard in a kind you like!
The Mod are:
- Add (delete) navigating arrows under the block of the basic keyboard
- Change color of the basic and additional font of the keyboard
- Cleans shadow illumination of letters of the keyboard (thanks jamrecords!!!)
- Changes background pictures of the keyboard
How to work:
1. Download and install ApkTools, it is possible to find on this site.
2. Download and unpack my aplet in a folder with ApkTools.
3. For the first modification is necessary to use original НТС keyboard from a Rom (or pull out from phone) (with not modified colors of fonts, otherwise to change a font to you will not be possible). The Original look like:
4. Unpack apk keyboard by ApkTools
5. Start my program BL_HTCIMECHANGE.exe
6. In the left top of window choose unpacked folder HTC_IME
7. After a choice of folder in the program list of templates for portrait and landscape display of keyboard will be filled
8. Select a colors of basic and additional color of font for keyboard (for convenience on absolutely black and absolutely white background it will be displayed texts of the colors chosen by you)
9. Choose a keyboard background (if you want to change it) in the right top corner in a window, after a choice you will see this picture in the right bottom of window. Attention!!! the picture should have the size of your screen display (for today the program support only the permission of Sensation 540*960).
10. Now we put ticks in a penultimate window which will define what to do to the program
- To add to (remove) arrows
- To change colors of fonts of the keyboard
- To change a keyboard background
11. We press button Create and we wait when programm finished!
12. The keyboard button redrawning as you want
13. Collect keyboard by ApkTools, put it to your device and enjoy! Looks like (example)
14. At repeated change of the same keyboard you can begin at once with point 5 then the program will opened with your options of color of fonts.
15. Attention! If after termination of program, in a message window (as in drawing) you will see text "Add picture files arrows in to HTC_IME/res/drawable-hdpi.", it will be necessary for you to download archive ArrowsButton.rar, unpack 5 pictures of arrows and their background in a folder res/drawable-hdpi.

The download link is broken could you re-upload please. Also the title of the thread says it will work with all standard keyboards by HTC, so will this also work on The HTC Evo 3D?

I decided to take the standard htc interface and throw a Super Mario Bros theme onto it. Please give feedback and suggestions. I haven't done any of the really hard stuff yet. Also I can't post links yet so I had to add spaces and couldn't post the pics correctly
Currently I have found:
A sweet wallpaper: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=710647
A taskbar and rosie I like: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=707047
and I have created
a boot animation (attached)
a lock screen, put the folder in the attached zip in .lockbot and use lockbot pro (I think)
Icons for the camera, maps, Internet, people, voice, and (g)mail (all attached, some are straight from SMB)
Instructions to change icons:

i know the bottom 4 are gonna have 2 each a 64x64 and a 128x128
but im not sure about the 2 on the side
Thanks in Advance
If you mean the two on the side, as in the Call Mobile and Send SMS icons, I've attached the full set below [SMS, Mobile, Home, Work, etc..] Just extract the manila files in the ZIP to a dedicated folder. I've also attached a zip which includes the Tab Icons amongst the slider tray, as well as the Large Preview images.
All of the manila files have the System & Hidden Attributes, so you'll have to un-hide all hidden files, as well as show the system files, if you wish to simply get the manila names.
But if you want to edit, open CFC-GUI, and direct CFC-GUI to the folder with the extracted manila files.
INFO ::
'People Manila Files.zip' includes the icon set for the Left-Most icons in your picture (SMS, etc..)
'People Manila Tray & Slider.zip' includes ALL of the tray/slider icons, as well as the large Preview Icons that appear when sliding, from the People/Contacts area, .

awesome thanks so much Zach
You're very welcome. Glad I could help.
So...
We are all here because we love to modify our phones. Some like alot and others like a little.
Here's a little mod made possible by the vr theme system
Change the background for your system to your own personal choice. And I'm not referring to wallpaper I'm referring to the background that most apps use on your phone.
This can all be done on your phone in about 5 minutes. The following may seem like a lot but once you do it once or twice it's very simple. PLEASE NANDROID BEFORE FLASHING... JUST IN CASE
Apps I Use:
Root Explorer Pro by SpeedSoftware
Photo Editor by dev.macguyver
1. Download file below
2. You will need 3 images... 2 dark and 1 light (you can use the same image twice for the dark background if you like, just make a copy. Please keep in mind that most of the time you see these backgrounds you will have text over top of them, so don't make dark background to bright and don't make light backgrounds to dark
3. Using root explorer find the images you want to use and copy them to another place. For example, I have a separate folder from my picture folder called Edited (you can call it whatever you like). It's also best to choose a picture whose resolution is at least 512x512
4. Next open one picture in Photo Editor and choose resize/fit, then select manual and resize to 480x800 NOTE: Not all pictures will stay perfect looking. You may need to crop them beforehand.
5. Once the picture is sized, if necessary you may need to darken the image or brighten the image... Just select color and adjust the brightness slider as needed. Feel free to play with the other options in Photo Editor, as there are a lot of features (This is my number one app used when building themes)
6. Repeat steps for the other images. When you save each image, you must save as a PNG... if your base file was jpg then it will create a new PNG for you
7. After editing the 3 images, change there names...
The light image must be named background_holo_light.png
One dark image must be named background_holo_dark.png and the other must be named tw_background_holo_dark.png
8. Now go to the file you downloaded and Extract (if using root explorer, you might want to set a specific folder to extract to and zip to before starting)
9. Take your 3 custom backgrounds and move then to BGmodifier/vrtheme/system/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-nodpi and paste...You should get 3 popups to replace each file.
10. Exit all the folders... Long press BGModifier, select Zip... when it's finished boot into recovery and flash
ENJOY YOUR OWN CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS

Please feel free to ask questions and/or post screenshots of your custom backgrounds

It looks great. Try it now
It is quite good. One thing I would prefer if it minimized to the start button itself (the 4 square icon thing) rather than as a bottom taskbar on top of my dock and then I minimize it to the button. What I said in my review.

XDA member @AL_IRAQI has shared a pretty awesome mod with the community involving the modding of SystemUI.APK to reveal some unreleased hidden options including a nice navigation bar customiser.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/mod-navbar-tuner-android-nougat-t3446791
Flashing the relevant modded SystemUI zip from the thread there (I compared the Nexus 9 LTE and Wifi versions of SystemUI.apk and they are identical) to an UNENCRYPTED Nexus 9 (on NRD90M) will reveal the hidden customiser in System UI Tuner.
Among other things, this allows for custom shortcuts to be added to the navigation bar.
One of the options is to add keycodes - some of which are, in fact, useful shortcuts. In addition to the more self-evident shortcuts such as a clipboard, increase brightness, People, Calendar, Camera & Calculator (the last two of which don't seem to work at the moment), there are a few less obvious ones which are pretty handy.
Example setup:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Left three: Keycode - Call (long press opens up voice search automatically), Keycode - Envelope (opens Gmail automatically), Clipboard.
Right three: Keycode - Explorer (opens Chrome automatically), Keycode - Music (opens Play Music automatically), Keycode - Sleep or Power (opens power button automatically i.e. single tap = screen off/sleep).
When we add the keycodes we are prompted to add an image for the shortcut as well.
I downloaded the app Material Icons and exported a few icons (hdpi) but you can use any (size matters).
In the below screenshot you can also see a few of the other working shortcuts - People, Calendar, Increase Brightness, and Menu
Zip file with the above icons - http://goo.gl/dkEkQt
Caveat - The Navbar tuner software in 7.0 is a bit buggy, it saves the shortcuts and icons OK, but after every reboot it is necessary to go back into the tuner and change something (anything) in order for the custom shortcuts to show up again. Also, certain keycodes don't seem to work, including Camera and Calculator.
There are probably a few other handy keycodes, if anyone finds any more of the less obvious ones, feel free to post them!
Wanted to try this out, so I made a flashable zip for N4F26X:
app.box<dot>com/s/hh6ykur5mszdpjifp0oozfdghf1mgk23
Recently made a new account, so I'm not able to post links ... Replace the <dot> with a period.
I wish if it possible to bring the circle battery mod to the Asop rom?
