Had to get the mainboard replaced.
Luckily he managed to get it under warranty from HTC.

[Q] Flashing to stock to start over

I have been seeing issues where apps force close and the xoom randomly reboots ever since rooting and flashing the first kernel a few weeks back. I haven't been able to find the root cause, but the random reboots make the device next to worthless so I wanted to try to start over to see if it would help. These are the steps I followed:
reboot into recovery (v3.0.2.8) and wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
reboot into bootloader
Grab MZ600_HRI39 3g stock

However, a day later, I am still getting the random reboots. This leaves me with two questions:
1. Are the steps I performed above the proper ones or are there additional steps I should have performed to go back to the "beginning"?
2. How in the hell can I figure out why these reboots are happening? I have been trying to capture kmsg output from the crashes, but nothing interesting shows up. (cat /proc/kmsg > /sdcard/syslog.log & .... from terminal). Here is the latest output:

I would run this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=980803 and let it set stock for a day or two. Are you overclocking at all?
I am not overclocking at all... but I did originally. I backed it down to 1Ghz Interactive when I started having problems.
I just installed setCPU again and verified that it says I am using 1Ghz max with Interactive -- is this what I should be using?
I am not sure what an SBF is, but isn't it the same as the zip's that flashed over from this? MZ600_HRI39 3g stock

Battery light is ok when i plug charger, i can go i hboot and i can go in recovery but i can't install new rom because i get message Aborted. ( Status 1 )

And how much cost a repair for desire s ?
About 200$ or more.However the price is lower than 250$.I asked some people from vodafone and they tolld me that a motherboard replacement is 213$;price may vary in different countries.
They also tolld me that don't replace theel chip.They just replace the whole phone/mainboard.

AFAIK, it needs the whole motherboard replaced. And it cost about 250$ (at least what i've read in czech forum). But first, I would try to send it for warranty repair. I was in similar situation a month ago and they replaced the whole motherboard. Even that I was S-OFFed with alpharev tool, but I was probably lucky.

The manufacture is pretty upfront about some specs like what Video and CPU are in the device. But, I was curious about some other modules, like the radios. Could someone who has a Razr HD or Razr MAXX HD do..

I install CM-11 Android 4.4.4 [Stable v2.0][21 June] use 4ext Recovery 1.0.0.6 RC3, full wipe except sdcard. In 4ext,it show install cm11 success,but when I reboot,it stuck in cyanogenmod screen. my hboot is HBOOT-1.27.1100....anybody know what is the problem????
