Hi,i just bought an htc hd7 on version 7.10.7720.68 .I would like to know how can i download XAP homebrew games/programs on my hd7?Do i have to downgrade it to a lower version or what?I tried the chevron unlock but no luck there.I know that my question is already answered like 100 times but i can't seem to find a working guide.Looking forward to a reply and thanks in advance!

well the first your os needs to be pre-nodo versions 7004 or 7008 ..if so u can google your question and easily find a tutorial with links to needed files...

Hi, I've tried looking on the forum and all over the web. I have a program that supposed to unlock it but I think it's not working because I havn't upgraded the firmware on the phone.

Need Interop Unloack
You need to interop Unlock and wp7 root tools to to install xap i guess.
once you update to newer firmware the unlock just don;t work. dont update to 7.10.8107.

You've got the latest update. So there is no successful interop unlock available for 8107 or later yet. Only way is to go for Dev unlock spending $99 with which you can sideload upto 10 apps. If you don't wish to spend $$, you can student unlock your phone, using which you can sideload 3 apps. Google for tips n tricks for students unlock.

You could unlock your phone using WindowsBreak if you revert the firmware update (either roll back the update using Zune's backup, or re-flash an older stock ROM)
Try getting verified as a student at http://dreamspark.com
At that point, sign up for an App Hub account. http://create.msdn.com
If you were successfully verified, you should be able to select the 'student' option when you sign up and get a free account. That's what I did, but I am in the U.S., so I'm not sure if it is different.
try to see if your university has something with microsoft here in brazil most of them have!

Would this tutorial be helpful in SIM unlocking a Nokia Lumia 521 with WP8? I was just thinking that maybe you can help me on it. I did checked the bootloader just as like you told me and it is a QUALCOMM MSM DEVICE so i just wanted to ask whether i will be able to install a ROM on it? I am a noob BTW .
So if possible can you help me on it?

want to install xap files on nokia lumia 710
I have an unlocked lumia 710 phone(meaning the phone is not locked to any carrier). After performing the steps in your tutorial will i be asked for and activation code??. It's my Dad's phone, the the power button and camera button don't work anymore. I need to make the hardware key on front to unlock the screen, so i need to install touchwake.xap on it. So i figured i need to use the bootload the phone?? Am I right??
