Well..that's a let down. reason why I can't get on with CM7 its because (some) 3d games stutter and sometime mi'phone lags..

yep same here dead space won't even start in CM7 but some gameloft games work like modern combat sandstorm

I just had a talk with squadzone ..and he's preparing to work for an oc kernel for FITDROID! ...lets wait amd hope that he succeeds in his work!! !

This must be a fluke..if no..then thank you very much Sire Neil for doing such a favor!! Can't explain how happy am I right now! n_n Cm7 was fine with the oc going on, but that ability not to play some 3D games? it was a real downer for me..I feel like that extra HP is just wasted to nothing. Although it gave me a (almost) lag free gaming on angry birds. Can't wait!! by the way, sir neil, could you perhaps try to contact sir vish? I think there's a new update for our fit.. 2.3.6 I think? He might be interested.
Anyone who is using fitdroid please send me proc / config.gz file and boot.img file from sdcard / clockworkmod / backup so that i can forward them to developer who can port OC kernel for fitdroid too..send above files to [email protected] asap

Don't thank me thank squadzone after he releases the oc kernel!! ...I too am not satisfied with the gaming performance of CM7.. and as far as that 2.3.6 update is concerned ..Yes its available u can have a look at GENERAL THREAD for that! ...and vish is somewhere out and without his pc so he might not be available for a few days or weeks (I'm not sure for how much time) ...!..
I would have troed that 2.3.6 firmware but due to some reason I'm unable to download the file! ...if someone can mirror the link and giv a multiupload.com link then ill definitely give it a go!! !

I have to look for I5500 specification, because if this phone has NOT 240x400 and +/- all works , why We should not try by "accident" Galaxy ACE ROM" where 2.3.4 is oficially released.
I think 2.3.4 /2.3.5 , it does not care - I am mostly missing graphics equalizer for audio - does this work for You too ?

I know CM7 from marcellusbe is not so fast even at 800 MHz because he had to use some parts from Froyo ...

sqadzone provided overclocking but only for cm7
after dat no devlopment in kernel
tj_style was involving in the development for a time but he was pissed off by some members regarding donation matter
i personally think that we should contact more devlopers and tell dem dat fit users will donate
donation of even 2$ per member can make a huge difference
sometimes i feel bad for buying fit instead of mini

I think u r right. I agree with your donation idea but I think no one is interested in fit.
I pm many devs of other phones but got no response.
My exams r going on right now. But I will start learning developing after exams atleast.

Yes +1 for donating to Contributing DEVS is a good idea I think the fit community needs to think about that..
Moreover I think ROMS from galaxy Mini can ported without much hassel
It would be great if someone either Ports them or Post a detailed newbie friendly tutorial regarding how to do so...
I had a word with squadcone about making a tutorial but he said he is busy. So I would suggest asking some developer to make a tutorial

And is the market working after overclocking?...I mean are u able to install apps from the market after overclocking to 801Mhz or 763Mhz!!

I am using Cyanogenmod 7.2 rc3 by 'asad007'. the thing is none of the oc kernel by squadzone worked for me. Is there a problem with my device or with the custom rom. I have tried almost all possible combinations of max and min frequencies.
Is there any way or a script, which can help me !

and i have the problem of overclocking it further 715.

i think...reflashing firmwares again and again has affect made our phone performance low....that might be the reason our phone cant handle overclocking..!!

Maybe guys..I am right now overclocked at 801Mhz but I have improved the CM7.2 RC4 ROM,and now I get 2020 points in quadrant benchmark and 2100+ (exactly 2167)..which is the highest points yet achieved by Galaxy Fit!...
I wanted to put up this ROM in the development section, cause its very stable,no fc's in camera,no market download problems nothing!..but i can't upload it cause I am on a 2g connection!

its impossible for me to upload it!..But i suggest u guyz to flash Chocobreadv1.2 with 806Mhz kernel and v1.2.2 update!..
its even faster than my CM7!..
Just now tried it and it gave 2085 in quadrant!...Apart from performance its very stable everything is fine at 806Mhz..camera,bluetooth,market,etc...

i want cyanogenmod, it is best, please try cyber cafe or anything in your area to upload, without oc, it is just the UI which has changed...not the performance!
If it is really not possible, then you can tell us the way to make Cyanogenmod 7.2 rc4 by freedomalfa, working !

welll everything is working fine in thhat rom i mean gapps,wifi,bluetooth,etc but yes u might have to edit the build prop as the rom shows gts5570 but dat doesnt matter much.
and yes the oc kernel by squadzone is working and is stable for me till 715.
This is the request to the porters to please port emanon v4 and cm7.2 rc5 to our fit.
Pls dont forget to take permission before porting.

Now listen aman the thing is u should never request anyone to port that rom or that rom try to do it by yourself there is difference in making and porting a rom.in porting there is high risk that u might hardbrick your phone remember porting is a dangerous but easy or fast method.mainly porting depends on your luck.so never request first try yourself if stuck on a point then ask for help.

I have ported rc 5 if you guys want I can post it but still we need the latest rc 5 864Mhz kernel because other kernels are very unstable! !!...
So. ..if anyone of your requests squadzone to make the same 864Mhz kernel for fit then I can "try" to post the ROM!...
But take nothng for sure cause I am on a 2g network!...
U can also try to use the The same kernel I dont know whether it will work or not cause my Fit is with my Mum cause my exams are coming and I'm not going to get it! ...

And did u tried moving "app data" to sd-ext using s2e?...the apps start force closing after some reboots!...

Asad's port of rc5 isnt working and i dont think that he will be able to make it work untill he gets his phone so looking forward to the port by you neil..

Everything's working. Not a single app force closed. I use app2sdgui and it works fine.

Yup weak 2g connection. And now I am on rc5.1 its good too have u tried it. It works awesome with 763 UV/gpu kernel

Ive tried chainfire but it bricked my phone...seeder and sefix hav improved my phone alot but im still experiencing some stuttering

HY,this might be because you dont have enough ram to run them.Performance can be bosted by free up the ram,you can do this by downloading a game booster from playstore.I f this doesnt work for you try to find a mod for the games you are playing.Please press thanks if i helped

You should try to overclock a Little
Guys overclocking isnt wrking!!!i used many apps but im unable to overclock!!!its useless
As for the cwm....its still in development...we need help in its development(pro.)

sig is too big without any work included
try to custom it a little
