This is based on work and instructions that I found here by mudknot2005 and marccramer. Also, instructions that I found here. If you like it, slip over there and thank them, too!
The Splash is flashable through Hboot. I like to copy it to the root of my SD card so that the original file (with full name) is still in a folder somewhere. Rename it PD98IMG.zip and reboot into bootloader. Beware of the .zip.zip condition.

The Bootanimation can be copied to system/customize/resource. Delete or move the existing ATT_bootanimation.zip to a folder on your SD card. Change the permissions to rw-r--r-- and rename the file to the same as what was there. I named it starting with "A" so that it would at the top of the resource folder.

I have both of these on my phone and they work, but I must employ the standard disclaimer - "We are not responsible if this breaks your phone, etc, etc."
These are some of Stick's Mods that I had. This is his work, not mine.

Thank You for Developing this great ROM, all the work you put into this ROM & the work bdaman puts into his kernals makes this the Best ROM for the Inspire 4G. My Goal is to Theme it up a little & bring out the Clear in ClearDroid, there has already been 12,000 downloads from ROM manager and many from XDA so I wanna Personalize whatever I can for everybody and bring a little bit of customization to the ROM. It's a great ROM with great Developers working daily to make it better, so showing some support to the ClearDroid ROM is a must to keep it on top

Mine started doing the sane things also, I removed them from Thread for now & Ima go threw the Google framwork & make shure its all correct. They both was working fine and then mine started doing the same thing, Idk if it happen when I flashed 1.3.1 & the system apks where Re-Installed. Ima work on it today and get it back-up.

You got it, ill get started on it Been working on some new Icons also to add into some apks, I've made a few Icon packs that work with DTV, GoLauncher, & ADW but Ima change the png in the apk res so they will actually be the apps icon & show in Sense home screen and the lockscreen. And I have a Trans & Color Docks almost ready, I gotta do a little more work with the Rosie zip so I can post for down load.

- New Sense 3.0 LockScreen, HD Glass Skin, Music Player.
- Trans Widgets, I have (10 to 15 Ready) & will take request, Most Widgets come with Trans APK & I have a list of Apps to do
- GingerBread 2.3.3 - HTC Sense 2.1/3.0 SMS/MMS APK w/ SwiftKey KeyBoard with 5 Different Themes.
- New APKs for FB 1.7.2 in (Trans Blue, Trans Green, Trans Black, & No Trans Blue & Black & Red).
- New XDA App in Cyan Green & in White, Updated Google+ & Talk and Ima run em to see if all the kinks are out 1st then ill put em out for Test
Some Updates are Zips & NOT APKs so they need to be flashed
So far new lockscreen works great.

I'm sending this in a rar cause the complete rosie is taking longer then I thought it would, so here is a quick easy way to get settings for apps on LockScreen. Make shuts you back up the LockScreen APK & All Rosie APKs invade you are unsusccessful you can Re-Install them. Be shuts that your Skin/Theme is set to the deafault HTC Skin/Theme or else you will not be able to access settings. You can't put widgets on LockScreen using this method but I have all the ports for the 3.0 widgets in zip files & I will upload them all tomorrow night with the complete Rosie build I'm working on
This lockscreen consumes very little amount of RAM compared to other ported sense 3.0 lockscreens, Please follow instructions carefully
requirements: S-Off, Rooted
1.] UnPack RAR Then In Root explorer copy attached htclockscreen.apk and rosie.apk
2.] Go to system\app and delete htclockscreen.apk and htclockscreen.odex / and rosie.apk and rosie.odex, be sure to delete them or move to sdcard or it won't work, also rename won't work.
3.] paste my htclockscreen.apk and rosie.apk to system/app folder.
4.] then set permission on both files with the following1.read, write 2.read 3.read)
5.] reboot then see new lockscreen, then click personalized then you'll see lockscreen settings to change icons.
6.] If lockscreen not changed reboot 2nd time then it will work.

PS: Extract files with winrar. Also disable fastboot in Power settings when reboot otherwise turn off manually then on. These Problems should not occur if Done Correctly (READ STEPS) & if the Do then You will need the New 3.0 Rosie or Stock 2.1 Rosie zip or 3.0 MMS & Widgets zip which you can flash. I have them both but I'm still adding all the ports I have to them but I have copies of original.

I have all the remaining 3.0 Ports for 2.1 (Rosie3.0,MMS,Camera,Settings,Trans Background for settings,Widgets,Weather,MusicPlayer,HD Skins,Trans AppDrawer with Dock,) By adding these it will basically upgrade your HTC Sense Version to 2.1/3.0 Hybird.

Install Instructions: Read Carefully.
Flash though CWM
*The CWM that comes from ROM manager seems to have a problem. When Wiping/Factory Resetting CWM freezes at sdcard/.android_secure, then you'd have to pull battery. it may also have a problem Restoring backups, stopping at sdcard/.android_secure. If you used CWM from ROM manager and had No problems then congrats, But i recommend you download the update.zip (i renamed to CWM3XX.zip so it doesnt replace the CWM you already have) i attached to this post incase you run into these problems, then from CWM you can flash the CWM3XX.zip and it will Flash a CWM that has No problems at all, this CWM i got from Krylon360 before it was Added to ROM Manager. it would be smart to keep that on your SD Until this issue is addressed.
Instructions -
- Put zip file in your /sdcard
- Reboot into cwm recovery
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
- Wipe Cache Partition
*Now before you Flash, Only if this is your FIRST time Flashing a Custom ROM otherwise ignore the mounts/unmount part*
MAKE SURE YOUR MOUNTS LOOK LIKE THIS: (Go to mounts and storage from CWM recovery)

About the ROM itself..
This ROM is build from the Sidekick 4G KD1/Samsung Galaxy S 4G KD1. Most system apps are from the SGS4G. This Theme is based on a Honeycomb Setting. Though its a combination on Honeycomb 3.0, Xperia Arc and Xperia Play, Sense 3.0, and Galaxy S II. There is A LOT of themed apps inside. Id say pretty much most of them are themed and more to come. The Icons and Menus of Most of the app are bright and colorful. This ROM has a lot of the bloat from Tmobile removed. If You want your battery to be at best on this ROM then don't Flash this ROM on 100% so your battery stats remain correct.
Theme Manager is in this ROM but only the Disguise Theme is Available at the moment..
If you have any force closes/bugs/problems please report them asap.

its a Modded MusicMod music player based on the aosp froyo google android music player. Only this one is modded to work with the lockscreen and in notification bar.
And The theme and ROM is complete. But I Wont say the ROM is final unless you guys agree on that so there might be minor updates. This is just the first release so i can get feedback and see what you guys think.

Essential App Pack
Normally, ROMs come with a lot of apps that many users will use often, but I know that everybody won't use them. Due to that reason, I try to include as few apps as possible (and make them fully uninstallable). For those that do like to have some extra apps added in easily, this is the right place for you! The instructions are the same as the other App Packs, except the apps are located in /data/app.

CIQ Adder
If you are a fan of Sprint apps, you may need this. CIQ is explained here, and the reason it is not included in this ROM can be found here. However, according to this, you shouldn't worry too much about CIQ. If you are having problems running Sprint apps, try flashing this.
Swag = ON: Multiupload | Mediafire
Swag = OFF: Multiupload | Mediafire
To re-strip CIQ, you simply need to reflash the ROM (Swag = ON) or Unswagification Pack (Swag = OFF), this will UNDO any other modifications (themes, kernels, etc.) you have made to SOS, though.

Latest Radio Update (2.15.00.08.08)
Recently a new radio update was release for the HTC EVO 4G, be sure to update to it to receive the latest updates for your EVO!
Flashable .zip
When flashing this file, recovery will tell you to reboot. Do this by going back to recovery's main screen and selection Reboot (at the top). Then a weird updating phone thingy will pop up. Then it will go back to recovery and you can reboot again and you'll be good to go. Warning: Do not pull your battery or perform a radio update on a low battery. Let the installation complete. Failure to do so could result in you bricking your EVO (you have been warned). Also: It is a good idea to back up your WiMAX keys. This G&E article should help you out.
Splash Screen
This is NOT a flashable .zip, follow the instructions below. White-on-black Splash Screen (looks great with the boot animation for SOS):

Place this file on the root of your SD card, use the 4-in-1 reboot mod to reboot into the bootloader, select BOOTLOADER, press volume up to confirm install, then volume up again to reboot, enjoy! Make sure the file is name "PC36IMG.zip" and not something like "PC36IMG (1).zip" or it won't flash. Thanks to JSZESZE for the splash screen and thepiecesfit for making this PC36IMG.zip
Amon RA Recovery
Using ROM Manager, an app included with SOS, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the in-app options. The first-to-last option (under "More Recoveries") will read "Flash Alternative Recovery." Use this to flash Amon RA Recovery.
swagstr personally recommends manually downloading SOS and using Amon's recovery over ClockworkMod. However, ROM Manager is so damn easy! So the choice is really up to you

Ive been running this ROM from CWM for about a week. Really stable. If you want something that isnt a memory hog, this is it.
I don't want to confuse users. We are not associated in anyway so I'm not sure why the kernel I have been working on is included. I was never approached about my work being incorporated into your "swag". If you enjoy the kernel, direct users to it, would be much more easier for me to maintain, much apprecited.

And I don't have a clean install running right now, but I don't have any extra apps installed beyond the base. I have 251MB free and Darktremor's Apps2SD is enabled for this ROM, JSYK

I just did a clean install of this rom - swagged version - and I have 387 MB of available space with about 10 extra apps that loaded up after the install. Very fast and responsive thus far.

Nope - that's a straight clean install - no mods for storage used.
Based on my One X AOSP ICS Mod (visit for screenshots), find below a full AOSP ICS theme for the amazing Team Venom ViperXL ROM.
The AROMA installer zip is flashable and includes choices of an AOSP ICS theme based on the villaintheme approach, an ICS themed htc keyboard, themed htc Dialer & htc Message by Artood2s as well as the following AOSP ICS apps:
- Email
- MMS
- Gallery
- Calendar
- Settings
- Contacts/Dialer
- Car Home
The AOSP ICS Settings.apk also fixes the Sense smartsync "bug" as there is no smartsync related code there.
Together with ROM Cleaner NO-Sense v2.3 and in case you use whatsapp, the great WhatsApp PLUS HoLo, you get the amazing Team Venom ROM with a lot of Sense crap removed and a nice and clean ICS look. :highfive:
It wont work on any arbitrary Sense 4.1 ROM as I include parts of compiled apks form the ViperXL ROM.
If you have a One XL and want true AOSP/AOKP feeling with Sense 4.1, flash the ViperXL ROM as no other ROM comes close in regards of customization anyway.
Please generally make a backup and try. If something does not work, please provide me with screenshots of the things that are not working.

General tip: If you experience slowdowns after installing anything through CWR, make a nandroid backup, then make a factory wipe in CWR and then immediately restore your backup, no reboots inbetween needed!

Remember it's a beta so you need to flash one option at a time to see which one is bad.
I can't send MMS. I receive them fine but when i attach a picture, it says converting to MMS, i wait a few seconds, and as soon as i hit send, the message just disappears.

Did you flash the AOSP messaging app?
Geenyous- I themed the HTC message and dialer apk to match this theme. The messaging app just has one PNG that is different (others message bubble). The dialer has resources from you phone.apk theme. Feel free to add the mods to your theme if you like.
For anyone that wants to install them themselves, just place them in the System folder, change permissions and reboot.

looks freaking AMAZING, i've been dying for some AOSP themes for Viper. but im confused. you say in the OP that this WILL NOT work on Sense 4.1 ,, but that this was designed for ViperXL ( being the AT&T HOX, the Evita) which is based on Android 4.04 / Sense 4.1 ... ??

Just the one from this aroma installer. I replaced htc messaging with the aosp messaging provided in this theme. In an old rom, (xi40?) i had the same issue using the aosp messager.
I have tried to reinstall the theme but it's the same, everything crashes (HTC message, venom tweaks, settings) what am I doing wrong?

I actually did not want to include the AOSP apps originally as they are for One X T3, but according to Avivas some of them worked so I included them anyway.

What I wanted to say is that it will probably not work on any arbitrary Sense 4.1 ROM, only ViperX... (or XL, but that remains to be seen...)

To anyone having issues- Try opening the zip file on your computer (I use 7zip). Delete the resource.arsc files in both the SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk folders. Also open all folders for those apks and delete any XML files you find. Close the archive, and install only the theme and AOSPICS skin. This should tell geenyous if the issue is with the compiling of the resources for those apks.
For the record, I did the above with the International One X theme and I have no issues (using an AT&T One XL). Be advised that you will be missing some of the mods to the apks, such as 1% battery and non-green system font, but those can be modified on your own. I can post my modified framework if anyone is interested which removes as much references to the green font as I could find.

Yeah, they all worked fine for me. I'm lost as to why they wouldn't work for someone else on a similar setup.
On an update, installing this version crashes sense on my device every time I try to access the launcher. I've since restored to an earlier backup and all is well now. Haven't had any time to test in depth, just got engaged lol. I'll try to get some heavier testing in maybe tonight or something.

Edit: Flashed ViperXL clean, then immediately flashed the 0.2 version of this theme before first boot, and I'm getting SystemUI has quit unexpectedly about every 30 seconds, and there is no status bar. I applied the AOSP ICS Skin in Personalize,

If you get installation aborted error message when trying to flash this mod in recovery, follow these steps:
1. Boot up the phone normally
2. Use any root file explorer and navigate to /system
3. Delete the "Aroma" folder
4. Reboot into recovery and flash my mod again

In Venom JB ROM we are now able to install custom skin for HTC keyboard as a single apk file and apply them from tweaks. This post will contains all the keyboard skins created / ported by me and will continue to expand according to user request.
Installation:

You have to select another font (Roboto or Jelly Bean) in order to replace the current font.. That problem only happens on Sony Sketch font
I reinstalled the ROM, booted and checked the problem is gone
Then go to recovery ans flash the mod again. Choosing skip the font, but problem still occurs

1. Open my zip file and navigate to system/fonts folder
2. Delete the font inside the folder, save the modified zip
3. Reflash the ROM
4. Flash your modified zip

- You MUST be on a 5.1.1 Rom (OF7 or OFE) to flash Wicked One SS Rom; If you're coming from Sac's v3 (5.0.2 based) it will NOT work! You won't have the firmware necessary.
- First, BACKUP your Files (ie DCIM/Downloads) as you might have to factory full wipe if no boot after ODIN!! Yes no more pictures of your cat Fluffy. And then...
ODIN OF7 Full Update/Firmware. This can be found in the "General" tab. Or Click Here.
- After upgrading to OF7 - bootup and go to software update to take the OTA OFE (I don't know if this is necessary, but it seemed Kosher so I did it)
- Unlock 'developers options' and unlock bootloader (Go to Settings--->About Device--->Tap "Build Number" 10 times and you will unlock Developer Options---> unlock bootloader)
- Flash a modified kernel to gain root.
ODIN Ram's TWRP 5.1.1
- I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH - HAVE A WORKING BACKUP IN CASE ANYTHING GOES WRONG ANYTIME YOU FLASH A ROM OR MOD
- Download Wicked One SS Rom and place on your device

It seems Samsung is going to take the same route as HTC and start updating some of their apps through the PlayStore. I recieved the update for Samsung Browser today. I updated it with the blue icon instead of the purple one that comes with the app.

***IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE FULL THOR THEME SAVED TO YOUR DEVICE, SKIP TO THE END OF THIS TO DOWNLOAD AND FLASH MY THEME, WITH THE THOR THEME INSTALLED***
***Before you begin you have to delete all previous files of the Avengers Thor theme. Go into your theme store and select a different theme if you have Thor installed. Then delete the Thor theme from the store. With a root explorer app go into the root of your device and navigate to data/app. Delete any folders with the name com.marvels.Avengers_Thor. Now navigate to data/overlays and delete any instances of com.marvels.avengers_Thor from any of those folders, including wallpapers. Reboot device and move onto installation below. You can even reboot to recovery and wipe cache to be extra clean.
Clean Installation of new theme: (This will allow you to override the theme trial.) Follow these instructions or it will not work correctly. See Screenshots Below.
- Download the Updated Thor Theme apk located HERE.
- Install the apk to your device but DO NOT apply the theme yet.
- With a root/file explore program (I use Root Explorer), navigate to data overlays/jsonfiles
- Move the com.marvels.avengers_Thor.json file from trialjson folder to the userjason folder.
- Make sure the com.marvels.avenger_Thor.json file is completely removed from the trialjson folder.
- Reboot your device.
- Go into Theme Store and apply Thor Theme.
- Boom, trial theme is gone and full theme is there.
- Download my updated Wicked One Theme below.
- Boot into recovery and flash my theme with the Thor Theme applied.
- Reboot and enjoy!!!!!!
Troubleshooting or Uninstalling:
If you run into issues with this theme not applying properly, please uninstall it from the Theme app and choose the default theme. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER THEME APPLIED BEFORE DELETING ANY FILES. Then, using a file browser with root access, remove any of the following left on your phone:
all of the folders in /data/app/ begining with com.marvel.Avengers_Thor
/data/overlays/font/com.marvel.Avengers_Thor
/data/overlays/preview/com.marvel.Avengers_Thor
/data/overlays/lockwallpaper/com.marvel.Avengers_Thor_wallpaper.png
/data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/com.marvel.Avengers_Thor.json

I played with the S6E Plus and the Note 5 today and not impressed. I think Ill stick to this device if you awesome devs continue coming out with nice ROMs.

Thanks but I have never used hotspot. I used ram9200 rom as a base with his service.jar from his version 2. Let me know if it deosn't work and I'll add it in. If it doesn't, just use his fix and all should be good. Let me know.
