[Q] Samsung I9003 not working properly

I purchased Galaxy I 9003 some 6 months back. Until now it was working perfectly fine. But recently it started getting switched off automatically. Application stops working and a message is flashed that so and so application has stopped working and I have to select the option of "Force close". I have also done the hard reset but thing have not improved.Please somebody help me.

What firmware is your phone on? Have you flashed any firmwares before?

If you are not worried about losing data...perform a factory reset...

I have already done factory reset and also hard reset. Things have not improved

Hmmm Ravi bhai....
Read and understand flashing guides first before taking the plunge into flashing!
So go ahead and flash xxkb3... But use "protection"
And also use search tool on xda....
Check my super info thread also! It will help!

I have the same problem, i'm on XXKPH (Cranium v3.1)
it's switching off when battery status is around 40% and less (when is in idle, not when i'm using it)...

I can bet on this that ravi will do something wrong while flashing...

Need help !!!! My samsung galaxy s i9003 which i brought frm muscat-oman in june and now its having a problem of getting switch off again n again, so i have to remove the battery and switch it on again but before it gets switch off it say usb unexpected error then it gets restart , i have given my phone to the normal service center, but itz not working he tryed all the technic of restoring,resetting and hard reset but it did nt work even i tryed to upgrade the software but no use then i he have send it to the samsung service center n frm thr they told me the problem is thr in motherboard (ic) n need to replace the whole board , he was asking 6000 inr rupees bec my phone is nt on international warranty, so can anyone let me knw is thr any other way to solve this issue.

Was same problem... That is Motherboard... Now I waiting for motherboard change in my support center. Forcing close all progs in KC1 KB3 ... if you flash it to 2.3 There will be a pseudo factory reset. There are no any solution, other then PBA motherboard replacement.

i have manage to solve my one problem by roll back my firmware version to 2.2.1 (I9003DXKF1) by that my phone is nt restarting again and again but one issue is still thr which is giving a msg of USB STORAGE UNEXPECTED REMOVER and the application messaging (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again
so do anyone knw how should i resolve this problem bec i m nt ready to believe my phone motherboard have some problem n to replace and the price is 4 k

Need Help for XXKPQ

Dear All,
I m using XXKPQ since a month or so but i facing a problem in my wifi and battery drain. after going through many threads i got confusied what to do
a. Should i reinstall the XXKPQ?
b. Should i do ROOT to my phone (but which one, as i read there are many roots available)?
c. or should i wait for new s/w to launch (better then xxkpq)?
i really dont know what to do and how to do. If anyone plz help its would be a support. kindly also send me links to download the s/w.

Flash uc kernel v9 from the utterchaos team kernel thread to root and fix wifi problem. It fixed wifi problem for many

What do you mean? Basically, after you flash your phone is now rooted. You have no more wifi error.

Try flashing another rom, I recommend you Vurrut Rom 4.8
You must install it in recovery mode, you already have UC Kernel so you will not have any troubles with that.

How long does your battery last??
And kindly describe your usage briefly

Yersterday's night it was 81% at 2am and in morning it was 40% at 8am
wifi was on and ram was cleared, no other application running.
hope this gives you an idea....

Try installing vurrut rom it might help.

the file i have is
vurrutROM_v48_light_signed_final
this is of 194,057 KB
is this a correct file that i have to flash it in recovery mode?????

If you downloaded it directly from the vurrut rom thread then yes its correct. Yes, flash via cwm . Backup first, then flash, factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache then reboot

keeping wifi on will really drain the battery specially if sync is on. Turn it off. You can also try poseidon rom. My battery can last up to 2 days. Then flash uc kernel.

[Q] Which is the most stable rom for Ace Plus?

Hi guys I'm new member...
I'm looking for a rom for S7500L but don't know which one is the most stable. The CyanogenMod 10 seems to have problems with camera and Wifi, which is so annoying to me. I'm thinking about installing Inspiration_Rom_V16, is that the best choice? Pls help me decide..

You have mentioned in your post GTS7500L. Inspiration Rom is for GTS7500. Try Gellybread Rom for GT7500L.

BTW can I have a dumb question? I have to turn off Wifi when not using it 'cause it drains battery very fast, but I wonder what happens if I turn on and off many times... does it affect my phone?

Based on my experience using kk9999gada's Inspiration Rom,
It doesn't affect anything, me myself always turn on and off wifi while on lecture..:silly:
I'm not sure about others, but I'm sure kk9999gada can advice you further,:victory:

wow, it has been almost month eversince your last reply,
anyway, good to know you enjoyed the rom, however, there's certain maintenance you manually need to do,
well, technically, I would advice you to wipe cache and dalvik regularly (per month at least) :silly:
try it, maybe it solve your problem

it's a battery related issue.. try changing the battery .. if that doesn't work reflash the stock firmware .

Thank you, my friend, but you can guide me on how to install the ROM cooked tried a lot to install copies of the Rom sites Inter Net but the result is always a white screen last a long time, and nearly two hours and I've do everything required such as ROOT and CWM

I have karbonn A7 and custom ROM from XDA

Perhaps you have downloaded a rom of different region or unspecified language, isn't it? Just check again the sources from where you downloaded your rom

Of course there would be a way to change it.
Try going to recovery and wipe cache and data.
If that doesnt help then go to the thread of your Rom ask someone to tell you what number is the language and input option in your settings menu.
Navigate to it and then you may be able to change the language

dude thanks for the help .but i tried that way also dont go the sucess
after rooting the phone still not able to customise it is still 2.3.6

there is also a play store app called more locale 2 that can change the language even to a language not in the rom

You cant update your phone to ics ? I dont understand what you are saying
It would be better if you move from gb to ics.
If it fails or something you should follow up on it, in that thread, ask the OP there.

Dude i installed the listed ROM On XDA bt the problem is My mobile is not detecting the SIM card
then i download all the Baseband file .bt i dont know how to flash them.one two link i got i have download the fastboot bt the i thing is that i dont know how to flash it.0ne two ROM working properly bt that has same sim card detecting issue.
