Well I flashed the NSCollab with a matrix v9.5 and then I noticed the screen had an orange tint, I restored my CM7 backup but the screen tint came back after 10 minutes so I restored to my stock 2.3.7 backup and I noticed that maybe an hour after I restored the orange tint came back
Any suggestions of what could be wrong?
Is my screen messed up/should I unroot and send it in for repair?

How orange is it? Can you tweak the colors with Voodoo app?
Its like a clear Filter is on top of it, nothing like the Orange Render filter but lighter than that
I went into the App and clicked default 2.3.3 under the Screen V1 Gamma Offset Color Hack and under the RGB i clicked the reset
It seems to look better but I think i still see an orange tint but it's very light now

I'm using the Voodoo App to set some custom colors for my screen. (i've changed the gamma hack and the multipliers). Now, whenever my screen times out to go to the locked state, during those 2 seconds of screen backlight dimming, the colors get messed up, with a sort of greenish mist all over the screen. This disappears upon touching the screen again.
I either want to know how to disable those 2 seconds of light dimming or how to avoid the issue altogether.
Using Brainmaster's MIUI and T1.44 kernel.
Can't think of anything but you could try a different kernel, or flash a newer version of trinity. Brainmaster posts them on his thread (second post)

Here's a fix for the Galaxy S. Should also work for the NS.

Thanks for your replies but neither worked
I changed the settings under gamma hack in Voodoo and my issue doesn't occur anymore.

what setting do you changed?
Raise your screen dim level if you're on CM7 or lower your voodoo color values.

When I turned on my Nexus S i9020 yesterday all greyish colors where red. Directly after turning it on, the lock and the google writing where white as usual, but after about 2 second it got a red complexion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy5NkFrQDuA
I tried to make a screenshot of my homescreen, but in the jpg the red complexion has vanished and it looked as usual.
I'm running ICS 4.0.3 stock and did the update back in december.
Removing the battery for a minute didn't help, but after turning it off and on again several times it was back to normal. Today I got low on battery and turned it off. When I turned it on again at home the reddish screen was back.
Any thoughts on this?

UPDATE: Managed to get the screen back to normal with the off/on trick, after turning it off and on again the screen was green only, there after blue only followed by greenish/blue.
Just a thought : you could backup all your data and try to re-flash your rom and see if it's a software or hardware issue.
cheers
I reinstalled the stock ICS and whiped all data on the phone, but it didn't solved the issue.
I contacted Samsung and they told me to send it to one of their service partners. I'm a bit affraid that they send me an i9023 back when they can't rapair it, due to the non existence of the OLED version in Germany.
I got my phone back today. They replaced (at least) the whole screen and installed Android 2.3.1 Everthing is back to normal again and it was covered by the 2 Year warranty!
So I flashed sean's lates 4.2e r3 rom and set one of the new Galaxy S3 wallpapers. Then suddenly I noticed my screen had a streak of dark lines and spots on one area. At first I thought maybe my screen was dirty but it wasn't. I changed the wallpaper to a different one and the streak of dark lines remained. Then I realized maybe I screwed up my screen. I never had this problem with the screen where there are dark spots when the brightness is set to low. My screen was always fine.
Then about few mins ago I had to do a nandroid backup and went back to my previous rom. Guess what, screen was fine, no dark streaks or spots anywhere. Any of you encountered this problem?
This is normal, it has always been like that, but you only noticed it now because you used a dark background. search skyrocket + screen + blobs

Hey guys! Ok, so I am aware of the yellow tint that many people are having. I currently use Franco Kernel and Faux's Gamma Calibration App, but I have not found good values yet, and none fix the tint. Anyways, when I reboot my phone, the screen is perfect, but after a few seconds the yellow tint appears. However, the tint only applies to the area above the on screen keys (attached, slightly hard to see). The on screen keys are perfectly white, but the whites above (such as text, icons, etc) are yellow tinted. What I'm trying to say is that the on screen keys are perfect, while the screen above has a yellow tint. Is there a way I can fix this without installing another kernel? I really like Franco's, and do not want to switch
Thanks!
when did the tinting start? have you considered going completely back to stocked unrooted and starting over? just curious.
Tinting started a few weeks ago. It suddenly occurred. I run Lux auto brightness, and disabled to see what would happen but nada.
Wow, so that weird tinting issue was because of Lux!! Uninstalled it and now my screen is much better. The whites are still a little greyish though

Hi I pre ordered the phone received on April 20th all fine until today April 22nd screen developed severe red tint which is still evident on all screen settings adaptive normal etc and also does not diminish when adjusting red balance to zero.
Screen with always on display time etc which is normal solid black is now bright red!
I have restarted the phone and also full reset all appears OK for the first minute then resorts back to red screen and tint.
Is the blue light filter toggled on?

Naw that ain't right dude I would be pissed...
No already checked that but switched on and then off no difference.
Dod you drop it? Just curious?
Could you take a less blurry picture of the lock screen? It seems strange that the numbers still appear white?
Factory reset then see what happens, If it still does it, time for an exchange.
