they added cross compatibility with ios so we can play with iPhone/iPod touch players now. Also included is a new "Chase mode" camera. I believe it is still free on market for those who don't have it. Check it out

This new version seemed to fix the performance issues of the last version.
I downloaded this again hoping that this version would make it for a better but how come dd for xperia play isnt really xperia play optimized? Anyone of you there experiencing the same.

Close and open the control pad while in game.
It's a bug.
Since updating its now asking me to re-download ALL the content again, over 800mb of it!?

I don't think the menu is xperia play optimized but while in the tavern/ in game close and open the gamepad and it will work.

That is odd, didn't happen to me when I updated. Try clicking download..sometimes it scans the sdcard and only downloads what you are missing( if anything at all).

When I start the game, even if the controller pad is slide-out sometimes its xperia play optimized and sometimes not.. it confuses me how to start the game always on xperia play optimized.
Anyone had the same problem?

I have the same issue, game seems to run very choppy and not smooth at all. Its almost frustrating.

I OC'd to 1.5 GHz with setCPU ondemand.
Theres gotta be a way to get this game to run better without rooting and overclocking my Play. I'm going to screw around tonight, maybe I had too many text messages in my queue (that was making mine run crappy last time on other games). The graphics while good are nowhere near the EA games and they run perfect.
So clearing up a bunch of my messages, clearing the cache and rebooting the phone seemed to work. The game runs WAY better now, still gets a little choppy at some spots, but is playable (unlike before).
I hope they release an update that clears it up a bit.

Gave it a try, but when you actually get to loading a level, it crashes to the desktop sadly. Atleast for me on my transformer it does.

Nope, it was a 0.85 version. This one is 0.9 and it works on TF without any problems with sound! Fantastic!
Are you guys able to play custom games? I only get the option to play the campaign mode and I'd really like to play multiplayer type custom games by myself against the AI like I used to... I've seen screen shots of menus where it has the option, not sure why I don't?
sweets to be a work in progress, when i first got the app it did crash a lot but as he patches it is gets better. Looking forward to it being fully stable and other improvements.

Yes, I installed it on my PC last night and the Multiplayer/Singleplayer custom maps works and will allow you to play with other people running the same Stratgus/Wargus engine... but on my Transformer I only get the option to play Campaign
Can anyone verify it's the same for them?
Ive downloaded the pro version, along with the plugins. No matter which plugin i use, I never notice any different games in the market. NOVA, Modern Combat etc. Are still not showing up. Yes i pressed the 'fix market' button still to no avail. Has anyone gotten this to actually work with their device?

I had chainfire3d on my captivate and loved it.
I am having all kinds of trouble getting it to install on my skyrocket tho.
I have tried downloading from the market and from the www page. directly to the phone and transferred from usb.
NO matter what I cant get the pluggins to install. I am root. so doesnt make any sense.
I remember needing to punch some code into terminal emulator with the cappy and i have searched and typed a few different commands into VrE again to NO avail. Getting kinda bummed about it now as its been 24 hours since root..I also installed the 2.3.6 rom on our forums last night.
SR was delivered wednsday with 2.3.5 stock from the Amazon . penny sale.
Anyone kn ow what I am doing wrong?

You google the game and find out which device it was made for. Also many of the gameloft games aren't on the market. Search for shadowgun.
Why are guys even using chain fire? I switched to the skyrocket from a Dell streak 5 with the original snapdragon processor and all my old gameloft games work and most others as well, even shadow gun runs flawlessly from the market with no mods at all. I'm completely stock, not even rooted on 2.3.6

Because we have games that need it.
You should atleast root it so you have CPU controls and app.controls because it saves on battery

Galaxy on Fire 2, Pinball HD, and better versions of Fruit Ninja, Backbreaker, and others. Also, even though it's not a compatibility thing, installing Chainfire 3D made the textures in Riptide GP load at a much higher res.
What are your settings for galaxy on fire 2. Mine crashed to home when loading the campaign

Works but lags a bit but as the game progresses lags gets rarely.
So 90% working sometimes even 100% on stock gb unrooted device. But as game hav progressed the lag has got rare for me fantastic game

Yeh its pretty good I got myself nova 3 spiderman and a few others ive been wanted I paid fiver for wild blood and 3 for dark knight though lol so evens itself out!
A weird thing: I just open the washop (it detects that my phone is configured for Spain), look for Wild Blood and it offers me the game for free. The file is named Wild_Blood_Paymium_HD_Android_Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Play_android.apk and weights 3.7MB.
Is this the same game as the Google Play version? I'm gonna install it and see what happen...
By the way, here the games aren't in offer. They marks at 3.63€ and I tested some of them but only Wild Blood appeared to download without paying. :silly:
Yeh the wapshop is wierd when I go on downloaded apps it gives me apps I haven't paid for to download but apps I have paid for are not there also apps lile rf 13 that are free in gplay you have to pay for and I imagine wild blood will be the same as the google play onr (takin up loads of internal even using tje delete log and profiling thing which helps) good game just poorly optimized like most gameloft games
Well, I'd say I have downloaded the full game. It's 1.0.9 version, it downloaded 695MB from wifi and uses 1.5GB in the SD card and 60MB of the internal memory.

The more you play the more space it takes up on internal memory but thered a fix somewhere on this forum for when it does it reached 167mb on my xplay before I discovered the fix now only takes 50mb and I nearly completed on hard mode! But epic win on the money saving!

Spider man ok for me not perfecr but not laggy as such im on dixperia 2 with v6 supercharged no overclock I haven't experienced any lag on games not even nova 3! I dont regret flashing dixperia im on locked bl aswell
The weird thing is, NOVA 3 runs smooth for me but Spiderman seems to lag and not have very good performance. What settings do you use on V6? When i tried it, i just felt it made game performance worse. I am on Gin2JB

I use leaded 100 mb setting with nitro lag nullifier with htk launcher ive been playing nova all day flawlessly and spidey is pretty good aswell I dont knoe much about gin2jb but I get alot of free ram on dixperia and its very stable never get forfe cloee unless im tinkering lol what settings do you use for v6?
When I tried, I used aggressive 512bhp settings or whatever it's called lol.
