Rooted my Droid Charge last week, so glad I did!
However now, I have no visual voicemail at all. I tried to download some apps, but none worked well at all. Not really into Google voice, like having the voicemails on my phone for quick access.
Any suggestions on what to do? I'm paying $2.99/mo with Verizon for this
I'm running GummyCharge 2.0, VooDoo_0807 and Firmware version says 2.2.1. Kernel 2.6.32.9

I'm guessing you're using Gummy 2.0 FE? You have to go into TSM Parts to get your clock back. They posted instructions in the OP where you downloaded the ROM from.

TSM Information:
Yes this modification needs no introduction to post fascinate user, but for those who are new to it there are a few things needed to know.
-When you first boot up your clock will be a default of black and appear to be missing. Do not worry this is the way it is. Just goto Settings > TSM Parts > Notification Settings and set your clock color by either 1 selecting a different color in the wheel then clicking it in the center, or just clicking white. Any changes to the clock color requires a reboot to make the changes.
-Hide clock or AM/PM to change you need to rotate your phone to landscape and it will change.
-Custom carrier text and hide alarm both require a reboot to go into effect.
-Choosing your answer type is located within the Misc Settings of TSMParts.

After an almost fresh install, the clock NOW WORKS!!! I guess there was something with either the ROM or files, or possibly the build. I must of changed the color a dozen times, selected/unselected and rebooted for a day straight. Installed ROM and went in, changed color, reset its there!
Still having a problem with voicemail tho
I thought I solved this, but nope. Here is where I'm at...
Took me a little digging around but I got it to work.
download files from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226001
It took me a few tries, but here is what I did.
Downloaded the apps and saved them to the SD card. Opened Root Explored and copied them to system/app
Changed permissions to Read and Write buttons for User, and only the Read boxes next to Group and Others.
Rebooted. VM service loads, but keeps crashing... ARGH!!!!

Could someone please port this to work with darch's latest CM6 rom?
I tried myself, by putting the images into the correct folder, but it still didn't count down properly. Overwrote the 3 xml files and I got stuck in a boot loop.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724778
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Man I'd love to have this on DD 2.8....
I want this also!
I would also love to see this on DarchDroid 2.8, if possible.
Thanks!
ours only goes in 20% notches. I'll port over but you wont get all icons only like 5 or 6. I dont know how this would look with the battery percentage turned on in darch's rom's either

i did it on BlackMod. It looks good, the number sits in the midddle pretty well. I's gonna add it as an option to BM next update. The problem with mods for CM6 become that they only work once usually, and have to be updated everytime a new version comes out. So you're more than likely gonna have to update it regularly.
EDIT- I made a colored and a white version. This is what the white version looks like:

Still looking for this.
I resized all of the icons myself, put the modified XML files into the proper folder. The phone shows the new charging icon on the lockscreen, but the battery meter is completely blank on the systray. There's just a blank space where it should show up. Toggling the CM6 option to display battery % didn't change anything.
Has anyone else gotten this to work with CM6?

i have an incredible and i spent weeks trying to make it to work different ways and i had the same problem. Theres only a blank space where it should be. Luckily the rom i use now has it incorporated already. The desire (which this was originally made for) has a "v4" after the hdpi folders and layout folders in the framework. The version i have thats working now has the "v4" added to each folder name just like the desire. But i dont know if the xmls needed any special editing to make this work. Good luck
This will work but u have to have the XML fixes to go along with the PNG files. I will post a zip when I get home but to show that it works here's a pic. It counts from 1-100 in 1% incriments. And shows all the individual bars. The XML files fixes the only 20% progress for the hero. Nxfinite45 got it working on his Roms a while ago...
I'm very interested in this. I'm running the nightlies with no theme,so this should work just fine on mine.
Anyone have a zip or something?
This theme was tested on CM6 and FreeX10 (thanks, bcool15 for testing on FX10!)
This theme's base is desire/cyanogen6
I do not take credit for any of the graphics used in this theme!!! It is a hybrid of Sempiternal's X FX10 theme and this theme created by vukandric. Big thanks to both of them for all the hard work they have put into creating both these themes!!!

For anyone who is interested in the CM tweaks file I'm currently using I have included it in the download. This will complete the theme, including battery percentage, etc, just like shown in my screenshots. Extract the rar file directly to your SD card's root folder. The filepath should look like this:
SD card>CMtheme>Slimer.xml
Open android settings and navigate to CM settings>user interface>tweaks extras>select a theme....select Slimer.

The battery meter is supposed to flash when it charges. Without the tweaks applied the percentge won't show. Sorry, I will reupload the theme with the phone app. I forgot to include it with the theme originally.
Dock icons are part of launcher pro, not the theme.
I looked at the theme and the phone apk is included already. However, if for some reason it didn't take, you can install this custom zip with recovery

Nice looking theme!!
So I installed the theme and am loving it BUT I can't seem to get the Notification Power Widget to work. I have everything selected properly but it just won't show.
Also, there is this gray bar along the top of the lockscreen that shows my provider on the right but also has a Plus sign in the middle and then just gray to left. I tried adjusting the settings for the Date and Provider settings in CM Settings but nothing seems to make the bar disappear. It will make my provider information disappear but the plus sign and gray bar remain. Any suggestions?

I rebooted a few times after changing things (it gives a prompt to do so after you change anything) and still no go.
The Settings menu and dialer also doesn't look like it does in your screen shot so I tried reinstalling it and the theme with the same result. I'm considering reinstalling Beta 4 and starting from scratch again.......
Any other suggestions?
I really don't know what to tell you...it should work. The phone app I posted is the correct one. If it's not changing on your phone then it's not installing properly for some reason...I'm not sure why, but if you're willing to try a fresh install from scratch, then go for it!!

I have no doubts that it should work, just trying to figure out why it isn't.
I have quite a few backups from the stuff I was doing so it's not a problem to get back to my previous 2.1 install. It's just a pain.....making a backup as I type this.
I'll try to restore the backup I made before I installed the theme and if that doesn't work, then I guess I'm back to the reinstall Beta 4 option.

Just out of curiousity, with which basebands is this theme meant to work? I am running baseband .55 and was wondering if that might have something to do with the issues I was experiencing.

thats wierd. i removed that line from the xml. you hsouldnt have to start from scratch, just flash over old theme. make sure you are downloading the right file (has a date in the title) and wipe dalvic.
Just flashed it again, wiping dalvik cache this time. It still pops up. Now in the notification bar the text is missing that says (your battery is fully charged) but there is still an entry in the notification bar that shows a battery with a little F on top of it. It also still sends a notification sound.
I made sure it was the August 11th version that I flashed.

FYI, even after flashing gummy 1.9 stock (without wiping data) over your theme we still got battery full notification so their must be some code stuck somewhere. So I'm thinking you probably did get rid of the popup in your newest version. I'm going to wipe the phone tonight and start from scratch and then install your updated theme. I'll let you know how it goes so you don't have to pinkify your phone

I tried the hidden menus and was able to get all the way to where you are supposed to be able to disable/enable the notification and then it gave me a blank screen where the toggle is supposed to be. So it must not work with gummy.
So I started from scratch gummy 1.9 and then installed the theme to see if the battery full thing was still a problem. It popped up tonight so I can confirm that its the theme causing this. Last post about this I promise. I'll leave you alone until gummy 2.0 comes out

For those of you that like the colored status bar and notification icons that m00nman posted, you will be able to find them here from now on, since it seems he doesn't have the time or desire to keep them up to date. I plan on continuing to update these as weaponx also updates. I am by no means a developer or modder; this is my first "project" of this type and m00nman did most of the work so thanks to him. This is mostly for my own amusement and learning. If you have any problems or suggestions let me know and I'll do my best to address them.
Anyways, here is a flashable ZIP that will install the aforementioned icon pack to your weapon x 3.0 r1 ROM.
Thanks to jcbofkc for the zip, I didn't know how to make one until he provided it.
Let me know if you like it, a simple thanks will do!
Will give it a try. Thanks.

I am sure frescoraja or I could later today, but you can do it yourself using UOT kitchen. It is very easy to use. I am a complete novice when it comes to this stuff, but I was able to figure it out. You can change the battery to whatever look you prefer and keep everything else the same including the kick ass toggles. Under the battery option there is one that is green the majority of the time until it get low and tuns red.

I posted the same one from my post in the other thread. I thought that mine included the colored notification icons that yours has (minus the big alarm clock icon, and maybe a couple of others).. But now that I won't be using the g2x, I am going to change the OP to include your icons.
what i do is really simple, first I use 7zip or winrar to extract the apks from the zip files. Then I use apk manager to "unzip" the apk's and then just replace the png files in the weaponX rom apk with the corresponding png files from m00nman's apks. Then you "zip" it back up in apk manager (leave the apk unsigned because they are system apps), and then i just paste the new apks over the old apks in your zip archive.
I just got an HTC sensation as a warranty exchange for my g2x, so I probably won't be updating these any more. I think you're more than capable, jcbofkc but let me know if you have any questions.
In case any one is interested, in many ways i regret getting the sensation (qHD display looks like ****E compared to g2x's lcd, and the thing lags like crazy compared to the snappy g2x), but i know i can always sell it and buy another g2x with cash left over. The main benefit to the sensation is the amount of roms to choose from, and the HTC amaze's camera app has been ported to the sensation. If LG announces plans to update the g2x to Ice cream sandwich, I'll be back in a heartbeat.
Thanks frescoraja, I will keep the thread updated. Might even try a couple of other versions for those that want to keep their rom "as is" plus a little nicer status bar. I will see you again after the ICS update.
A thread for any questions that may arise for this new rom that has been released by RaverX3X
why is that sweet audiophile logo not on at the very least the bottom of the pulldown notification bar? That logo is too hot to not appear in that rom at least a few places

If I wanted to change the homescreen menu color scheme how would I go about that? Everything but it is easy to read, I just need the fonts to be darker.
Battery Problems
I just flashed this ROM yesterday. It seems that my battery wouldn't last longer than 12hrs on standby. Before I flashed this, I returned my phone to stock, so I am lost as to why I am having such short battery backup. My phone used to last around 26hrs, moderate use on Subtly Modified Stock with CWM and Lagfix ROM.
Does this mean that my phone still has them gremlins even if I have reflashed to stock ROM?
I love the rc2 icons, are they part of a complete set, possibly for ADW? This is my favorite ROM yet about the only thing that would perfect it for me would be if I could match the rest of my icons, at least the ones on my homescreen.

I love this ROM! Been running RC2 since day one, flawless after some personalizations. Is it still being worked on?
Probably not. But you never really know.

Shame, at least it's not buggy.
