REQUIRE download directory in /cache partition
Hi to everyone,
i'm new in this section i buy today my i9003,
the first problem i encounter when install CM7 is not enought space free when i install app from market , this is my solution without formating cache or anything else
Code:
import com.peaple.disclaimer
i am not responsible for any damage on your phone, Libia war or dead SDCards
Required:
Human brain
Terminal into phone
Rooted
where's the problem?
Market ( Vending.apk ) Download the Temp apk into /cache partition under download directory , but its very small, you can symlink /cache/download to your internal SD to resolve all problem
Solution:
For first determine who create the directorys, what's my internal sdcard?
- if you use codeworkx's kernel it's mounted on /emmc ( or /mnt/emmc )
- if you use Official ROM or XXK* based its /sdcard ( or /mnt/sdcard )
(replace /emmc with /sdcard if you use XXK* Firmware )
Create dir , using File manager in your INTERNAL SDCARD not follow external_sd symlink, create cache directory, and into cache directory create market
Open your terminal, enter su
Allow Superuser request
enter into terminal this command:
Code:
cd /cache
rm -R download
ln -s /emmc/cache/market download
finish!
Offtopic, i'll very help this phone with CM7, it's beatiful phone and needed beatiful android!
Bye

that's great info, THP! I'll try it next time I'm visiting the market
so we have to type the command everytime we receive the error from market or everytime the phone reboots?

I don't see that in the instructions. meaning, once you use su permissions to direct the market to use your newly created folder in the sd card, which should be able to hold lots more temporary data (based on free space) than the originally intended cache for market downloads, there will be no more "not enough free space" errors. download something big, reset your phone, then download something big again. test it and find out
edit: falex beat me
falex, so clearing cache will clear the instruction from the system's commands?

in the instruction we should:
1. remove "download" directory from cache partition
2. create "download" directory in the sdcard
3. create symlink in the cache partition to the created directory
4. clearing the cache just format cache partition (of course formatting will remove everything from cache partition, and out symlink too)
To restore symlink we just should remove "download" directory from cache partition and create symlink (we already have "download" directory on the sdcard)

Sure, i doesn't have big knowledge about driver and hardware, but i will learn and i had a lot knowledge about linux, kernel compiling, c, c++ and in last time java by school ,time a go i recompile cm7 for Acer Liquid s100 ( another cm unsupported phone ) but nothing to special...
theoretically the only differences between Android and Gentoo or another linux distro is Kernel compiled for arm arch, and build-in driver ( or modules ) if i not mistake
Kernel = C
Lower Level = C++
User App and another app = Java
but i dont think i have knowledge to do this
i can be tester ^^

after this steps , is hard to get another like error , this is permanent fix it's reset only by formatting cache partition, this is our cache partition:
Code:
Filesystem/mount/dev 1K-blocks Used Free Us
3% /cache /dev/block/mmcb1k0p3 1935128 187680 1747448 1
if your format it by recovery, you need to resymlink again

Because of this post I tried to download a file with nearly 30MB from the android market. As I replied here, it didn't work. I saw this here and wanted to try it out. But when I typed "rm -R download" the terminal emulator trow out a error message. "No such file or directory." (or something like that) What's wrong?

Are u in /cache directory when type rm -R download ?
Have you root privileges ? ( just type su )
What firmware do u use?
What market version do u use?
It didn't work because if u not remove old directory , u cant create symlink to sdcard ^^

in this day im working on Offensive security courses and studying for school, for now i prefer doing tester also becouse i never had programmer linux kernel driver ^^ its too hard for me :3
As my signature suggests I am using a rooted Cranium ROM 3.1 (XXKPH)
The market is version 3.3.11 from here.
Shall I try to move the whole "/cache" folder to "/sdcard/cache" and after that create symlink at root "/"?

This is why the code fails... There is no DOWNLOAD folder in the cache directory. (atleast for us that is, I'm using stock xxkpm with a few scripts btw). Market downloads go directly to the cache folder and not in any other folder/subfolder.
I'm sure your not suppose to remove the cache folder. But why is there a need to remove the DOWNLOAD folder even if it existed? (Sorry, just learning linux) Couldn't we just proceed with linking the cache folder to the sdcard cache?
Correct me if I'm wrong: This is what u enter next after typing "su"
ln -s /sdcard/cache/market cache
I simply tried it out.
Deleting / moving cache folder does not work and so also creating a symlink fails. I also tried to symlink the "downloadfile.apk", since it seemed that this is the temporary file that gets created. I noticed that the icon was the icon of "Font Installer" which was the last app I had downloaded. But when I tried to download the 30MB app my symlink was killed and the market throw out the same error as before.
I'm so sorry, in my xxkph market download apk temp file in /cache/download, i think xxkpm is as directory as xxkph...

u can not remove /cache directory because everytime u boot system, in cache directory are mount cache partition, i dont know any solution for now, this night i ll download stock xxkpm i'll try
Anyway with MIUI , market version: 3.1.5 there is download directory under /cache , what's your market version? ^^
ok, i found where 's the problem:
i've install XXKPH stock with OLD MARKET
this is problem produce by 2.x market download apk file into /cache instead /cache/download
the only solution is update your market at least 3.1.x
EDIT1: Ok in some cases also update market it continue to download to /cache , i dont know solution , any cases if u have download directory , its ok
I tried 3.1.5, 3.2, 3.3.11 and they all don't have DOWNLOAD folder.
I also tried old market but it auto updates to 3.1.5.
Right now I just installed market 2.3.6 (according to titanium backup) from superteekz1.1 rom.
I used this rom before and extracted the market and it does not update to the newer version. Attached the vending.apk if u wanna use it.
The best feature is that u can install more than 30 mb of app from the market:
Also it doesn't use the have the downloadfile.apk file in /cache. So it doesn't use /cache? Any ideas or explanation?
I'd want to test in t but it crash...
I think it download it into data, but I'm insure

Your right, i found a 28mb downloadfile.apk inside /data/cache. Smaller download files still end up in /cache though.
So the old market seems to perform better at downloading larger market apps... why didn't they implement this in the new version? Maybe because newer phones are expected to have a larger cache?
Btw, if it's a factor, I forgot to mention that my rom is deodexed and the market app from superteekz rom was also deodexed. (sorry, don't know the compatibilities of deodexed and odexed roms and apps)

hello.i open this thread to show you how to solve a2sd not working on custom roms so you people can use your favorite rom with all the features and rom developers can continue developing of their rom and make them more and more better.
First of all the reason why a2sd dont work and ext partition doesnt mount:
for these feautures and others that dev gives as with his rom,the kernel ramdisk is modified (by xda kitchen or "by hand").so if this boot.img is not flashed into your phone,those feautures wont work.every custom rom have her boot.img into the flashable rom.zip.the thing that our rom creators and devs dont know(cause all phones are not the same) is that the boot.img in the zip doesn flash!.our phone cant flash boot.img from recovery and the reason is because in this phone kernel and recovery are in the same partition and not separately partition like most phones.
The solution:
REMEMBER THAT YOU DO IT WITH YOUR OWN RISK!
its just very simple:the only thing you have to do is to flash the boot.img that comes with your rom and the only way to do that succesfull is with Odin.(this ofcourse will give the custom bin counter 1 up because its a modified and not stock kernel).also have in mind that you have to flash it once.if for any reason you want to reflash your rom,you just do wipe data etc and reflashing the rom.zip.its not necesary to reflash the kernel(boot.img) again.its still there and will only change if you flash another boot.img or stock firmware with Odin.
So i will give two options.
1.download my PDA_S5360_kernel.tar from TermaRomGR threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520167(the mods in all of these kernel are about the same).flash it with Odin in pda field (first try without wipe anything or reflashing stock firmware first.just boot in download mode,flash with odin and reboot,it should work ok.DONT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR ROM FIRST!JUST IN CASE!).reboot may take more time dont worry.when phone is on your ext partition should be mounted.you can try with terminal simulator:
su
a2sd check
if everything is ok you can remove your dalvik cache to your sd if you want for more internal memory free space:
su
a2sd cachesd
the phone will reboot.it will late to reopen just be patient and then your internal memory will be almost empty.but have in mind that this partition is not as fast asthe internal memory so some apps or games maybe slow a bit.
2.the other option is to flash the kernel(boot.img) that come with your custom rom.how to do that (thanks to Doky):
copy the boot.img that is inside the zip of the rom you are using.
download my PDA_S5360_kernel.tar
find in web the program total commander for windows
open t commander and in left window navigate to my PDA_S5360_kernel.tar file and get into it.in the right window find the boot.img of your rom.drag it and drop it to the left window so it replace the boot.img into the .tar file with yours.its ready.just flash it with Odin.
Some important things too that i notice from my experiments:
with busybox 1.18 your rom will not boot after nove dalvik cache to sd
it will work nice with 1.17 but its not suitable for people who want to run v6 script.for those who want to run v6 you must download busybox instaler from market and install v1.19.2.if after that you have problems with wifi try another version (1.19.3 or 1.19.4).and report back what works ok and what not so all people together can find the best setup.
Please tell to the devs of your roms to read this thread so they learn about the solution to this problem so they can create even better and better roms
I love you. I'll try this tomorrow.

Oh, so I can take a stock firmware from Doky73's thread and modify it thru xda kitchen and change the kernel to include just init.d support (I kind of hate a2sd at the moment)? What about ext4 file system support? Is this possible?
By xda kitchen you mean the one by dsixda, right?
just like to ask if a2sd's low memory setting would conflict with [email protected] scripts?
coz after installing a2sd in my phone with [email protected] script, i sometimes notice that memory usage would reach 240+?

1.yes its necesary to have an ext2 or ext3 partition.you can create it with skin1980 CWM recovery in advance/partition sdcard.a partition 500Mb is enough.(before do it backup everything from your sdcard to your pc because this procedure will erase everything in your sdcard.)
2.for Odin google it Odin3-v1.85.Here is how to do it:
1. you put my tar in pda field and the other remain empty(check only "Auto reboot" and "F.reset time")
2. Now turn off your Samsung Galaxy Y (just for make sure is completely off, remove the battery for a few sec and put that back)
3. Press Volume[-] + Home + Power to boot in Download Mode
4. Hold the buttons until a warning screen with choise show up.
5. Select Continue (Volume[+]), then it`s go to download mode
6. Connect the cellphone (via USB cable) to PC, wait until ODIN detect the device.
7. Click Start
8. Wait until ODIN give feedback respon PASS
it`s mean the flashing proccess is complete. Samsung Galaxy Y will auto reboot.
9. unplug the USB cable from PC/Laptop
Thanks bro, I have 2 questions more,
before flash your PDA is it necessary to go back to stock rom?
Currently I'm using V6 with busy box v1.18 on hybrid2.1, should I change it to v1.19.2?

The extracted folder will look like 'Modify-boot".Now open the terminal or cygwin bash and mount the directory by typing
cd c:\modify-boot
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Now drop your boot.img in the WORKING_313 folder and execute the script by typing
./modify-boot.txt
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
It will mod your boot.img for dual booting.Output boot.img will be in the WORKING_313 folder as boot.img.
MODDING THE ROM FOR DUAL BOOTING
Open the ROM.zip.
Get the modded boot.img from the tool and replace with the original one.
Now download the attached updater-script from 1st post and replace the orignal one with this modded one(path to udater-script META-INF/com/google/android).
Zip up the rom.
ADAPTING A ROM TO INSTALL IN THE SD CARD
If you want to mod your own rom other than the posted here,then you have to mod the updater-script in the rom
For that open your rom zip go to /META-INF/com/google/android and open the updater script
Now replace every line looking like following as;
From
mount("yaffs2", "MTD", "system", "/system");
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
TO
run_program("/sbin/mount", "dev/block/mmcblk0p3", "/system");
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
and this one
From
format("yaffs2", "MTD", "system", "0");
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
TO
run_program("/sbin/mkfs.ext2", "dev/block/mmcblk0p3");
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
and add the following line next to the line written above
run_program("/sbin/mkfs.ext2", "dev/block/mmcblk0p2");
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Save the file and zip up the rom.Your rom is ready to install to SD CARD!!!!
FLASHING GUIDE
Remember, before partitioning the sd card you should wipe data and cache in the recovery during NAND rom installation or it will erase the partitions created before.
First flash the rom you want to install in the NAND,do not wipe data or anything do it before partitioning.
Then install the rom without wiping data or anything.
reboot the system. You will be in your sd card rom!!!
Now create folder in the sd card as /sdcard/multiboot.
Take both boot.img from NAND rom and cm9 rom rename the cm9 boot.img to bootsd.img and keep the NAND boot.img as it is.
Copy both imgs to multiboot folder.
Now download attached(or use above link for unregistered users) bootnand.sh and bootsd.sh and place at the root of the sdcard.
Open terminal emulator,type su and execute bootsd.sh to boot into sd card rom or execute bootnand.sh to boot into NAND rom.
THAT'S IT . ENJOY DUAL BOOT ON YOUR ZTE BLADE!!!!

First flash the rom you want to install in the NAND,do not wipe data or anything do it before partitioning.
Then install the cm9 rom without wiping data or anything.
reboot the system.

I've found that making four partitions and installing /data to mmcblk0p4 and /system to mmcblk0p3 helps with certain roms that have S2E configured.
I'm also trying to get it to boot two mounted loop filesystems instead, i installed SSRLS7 and GB-Gapps as per your instructions in the OP (just changed the partitions for installation and the updater-script and init.rc so that it would work) did a dd of the entire partitions to files on the sdcard and edited the init.rc like this:
Code:
on fs
# mount mtd partitions
chmod 777 /sbin/busybox
symlink /sbin/busybox /sbin/losetup
mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/sdcard
losetup /dev/block/loop0 /mnt/sdcard/multiboot/snow/system.img
losetup /dev/block/loop1 /mnt/sdcard/multiboot/snow/data.img
mount ext2 /dev/block/loop0 /system
mount ext2 /dev/block/loop1 /data
mount yaffs2 [email protected] /cache nosuid nodev
on post-fs
# ZTE_JCD_CTSCONFIG, 2011.05.03, BEGIN
mkdir /system/lost+found 0770
chmod 0770 /system/lost+found
# ZTE_JCD_CTSCONFIG 2011.05.03, END
# once system is setup, no need to modify /system , ZTE_BOOT_LIWEI_20110331
mount ext2 /dev/block/loop0 /system ro remount
I also copied busybox to /sbin in the ramdisk before letting the process finish and make bootsd.img
It doesn't work though and i have no idea why not. I've mounted the system.img and data.img files on the phone via the terminal to test if the procedure works and it does mount them just fine.
If anyone has any clue why this doesn't work then please tell me.
Dual boot on ideos x6
[email protected] said:
hello guys. This my dual booting project for our amazing zte blade!
What is this?
>this mod works on the basis of two scripts which are to be executed in the terminal emulator or script manager and a modified boot.img to boot the rom from sdcard instead of nand.
For advanced users only!!!
I will not be responsible for any bricked devices, damaged sdcards etc.
Do it at your own risk!!!
It is in alpha stage, so lot of work is still needed to make it more safer and convenient.
I will add this mod for more roms like cm10, paranoidandroid etc.
Downloads:

boot.img - download
updater-script - download
cyanogenmod10
boot.img - download

Actually, it'll work on any phone that runs android and has a working recovery that can be used to install boot.img and system files via an updater script.
It works fine on my Mini and Huawai G300.

hmmm i cant explain because im not using another script, im just using mount2sd (just delete the script from directory /system/etc/init.d) and install ungaze script.
S2E = return the data and dalvik cache to internal memory, delete S2E.apk from directory /system/app and then install ungaze script
What is the difference between this and int2ext+?

I would be interested to try this, but I am a bit scared of getting bootloops. There seem to have been a few reports of that already, so maybe I would be better to go for another, more tested script?
I am currently on stock ROM with stock kernel, rooted and using link2SD with a 2nd FAT32 partition. What would I need to do to transfer everything across? (I assume install a new kernel [which one?] and create a new ext partition; how would I go about moving all the apps currently on my FAT32 partition [and their data, which is on the internal memory] to the ext partition?)

Very important: note 0:make a nandroid backup.
First backup sdcard,backup all your apps with titanium backup,delete all apps except the essentials,then move the essentials to internal memory,format sdcard and then partition your sdcard through clockworkmod recovery(advanced»partition),then install the script and then go to recovery and then install new kernel like cranium kernel #2 ,if you want to be on stock
Or else after partition directly go to jaggy ROM or cm9 flash and then install the script(delete all other script in system/etc/init.d)
And then finally,if no bootloops enjoy! Or else just do a nandroid restore-bootloops are not a big deal,if you can go to recovery and have a nandroid backup.
Always wipe data partition or factory reset in recovery for installing the script or ROM

If you've dealt with recovery software on your computer any, you probably already have a good idea of how this works and what it's all about. Out of the box, your phone comes with stock recovery software. It varies depending on the manufacturer, but all stock recoveries are essentially the same. They allow you to manually flash official updates and allow you to clear the cache on your phone. What they can do is very limited and in reality, not all that helpful.
Thanks to the genius Android developers out there, we have custom recoveries that replace the limited, unhelpful ones. These third-party, or aftermarket, recoveries add all sorts of functionality to the recovery software on your phone.
Types of recoveries available for pico:
TWRP TeamWin Recovery
ClockWorkMod Recovery 6.0.2.8
Explanation for all the recovery terms:
Reboot System:
It will reboot the device normally,you will boot into current ROM.
Apply Update from SD card:
Usually this option is used when,you got a official signed update,than u can flash it using this option.The update file must be named as "update.zip".It should be placed under the root of ur SD card i.e not under any folder,direct paste
Wipe Data/Factory Reset:
Factory resets your device,this will wipe off the /data partition.The /system & /sdcard partition won't be affected.It is always recommended to wipe data when you are flashing a custom rom. After yor factory reset,you will see startup wizards,which helps you to get started.
Wipe Cache Partition:
Wipes the cache partiton on your device.Cache files are those files which are stored by applications to speed up your phone(to loads games a bit faster) & to perform somewhat faster.You can clear up the cache to make your internal memory look better.
Install Zip from SD card:
This option allows you to flash any zip from your SD card.After you select this option,you will find a few more options,they are
-->Apply update.zip
It works same like apply update from sd card.
-->Choose zip from SD card
You can select the .zip file whichever you wanna flash.
-->Toggle Signature Verification
Ah,I too certainly dont know,what exactly it does.Well,recommended to keep it disabled(default=disabled)
-->Toggle Scripts asserts
Better leave it,if you don't know about recovery's search editfy scripts(same as I do :silly
Backup & restore:
Ah,Again you gonna get 3 more sub-options
-->Backup
If you have something heard about "nandroid" ,than its nothing but a system backup,known as nandroid!This will backup every single file present in your internal & external partition of your memory card(ext partition).The backup folder is stored on your sd card,path /sdcard/clockworkmod/backups.Recommended you copy the folder on your PC through USB~
If you wanna take nandroid,I have made a video over it here
-->Restore
Selecting the option will restore your backup uped ROM,the same as u backed it up!You,need to factory rest once before restoring the backup.
It is helpful when you are stucked on bootloops or soft bricked!
-->Advance Restore:
This is kinda for experts.It ask you to restore only the partition you want to.Suppose,youhave flashed a kernel,which aint booting up your device now ,you can restore /boot partition from your back uped ROM. And,enjoy booting it instead of reflashing the whole damn ROM.
Mounts & Storage
This option enabled you to mount/unmount any partition on your device.You can every format the partion(P.S one by one).The last option "Mount USB storage" allow you to transfer files from SD card to PC or a vice-versa.
Advance:
The most used option ! Gives you a few sub-options.
-->Reboot Recovery:
The phone will just reboot into recovery mode.Ah,this option is helpful,when the recovery doesn't do certain tasks,example,while u mount the data partition,it may happen that u wont able to unmount it again,so just reboot recovery,may help you at times(my personal experience)
-->Wipe Dalvik Cache:
Wipes the Dalvik Cache from your device,one deleted,it gets re-created,when u reboot your device,so booting it will take a more longer time than that of usual!So,don't panic!
-->Wipe Battery Stats:
Formats the file called batterystats.bin.In sort of calibrated your battery!Mainly done when you flash a new ROM!
-->Report Error:
Reports the error to the recovery team.
-->Key Test:
It tells you the number that has been allocated to any key on your phone.This is mainly used when u want to remap your hardware buttons,or just to check wetherthe system is registering the press of the button.Press the back button to exit the test.
-->Partition your SD card:
Creates second partition into your sd card.while one used for storing up the mediafiles,second partition can be used for increasing the RAM & internal memory.During this process it will ask you,how much space you are willing to give or internal memory that is ext size & RAM that is SWAP,SWAP works only if ROM supports it.
Note:The process formats everything on the sd card !
-->Fix Permission
It will fix permission gone wrong in internal stroage.It will fix some FC's(Force Closes) on the system apps or the the apps you converted into system apps but forgot to change the permissions!
Power off:
It will power off your mobile.

Extract it over desktop
P.S Don't change the folder name!
Open cmd,direct it to the desktop folder(hope u know that,if don't,post is over),than type these comands :
Code:
adb shell
mount /data
exit
adb push fb2png /data/local
adb shell
chmod 755 /data/local/fb2png
/data/local/fb2png /data/local/fbdump.png
exit
adb pull /data/local/fbdump.png
What output you should get after taking the screenshot
Code:
bpp : 16
size : 307200
width : 320
height : 480
ARGB offset : 0 0 5 11
ARGB length : 0 5 6 5
Framebuffer Pixel Format: 1
Saved to /data/local/fbdump.png
Open the folder "screenshot",There you will find a file named "fbdump.png"! Voila,that is your screenshot!

For RC3 and RC4 you need awesome recovery older version.. Have attached the rcovery check the end of the post..
It is a special modified TWRP Recovery known as aw3som3 recovery.. This recovery increases our system partition.
Many users flash the aw3som3 recovery via app but its not a good process as this recovery changes the partition.
How to flash the aw3som3 recovery.
1. First fash THIS via your present recovery.
2. Now copy the downloaded recovery in a folder where adb and fastboot drivers are installed.
3. Connect your device in fastboot mode.
4. Open command prompt and type
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img(If your recovery is named as recoveryv1 then instead of recovery.img type recoveryv1.img)
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
5. After succesful recovery flashing, again flash the attachment on first step then flash the rom.
You should freshly install RC1 and New build dont just flash over beta 4 or beta 5
Clean flash RC2
RC1 and New build has enough system memory for the gapps to work..
So no need to delete anything..
Installation instructions for RC2
1. Flash the rom. Remain in recovery.
2. Just after flashing rom flash : This
3. Flash gapps
You wont face any sign in errors..
GPS is not working in RC1.. Some users reported it to be working..
Installation instructions for beta 4 and beta 5 :
There are two methods:
1.Before Install
Open the zip.
Delete following files from rom zip:
term.apk
email.apk
exchange2.apk
browser.apk
cmfilemanger.apk (optional)
Now flash the rom and after first boot of the rom then flash the gapps..
2.After install
1.Open Titanium backup
2.Tap on Backup/restore option (Before uninstall it asks to take backup if you can backup the app then uninstall it)
3.Tap on the apps listed above.
4.Select uninstall
5.Done
If facing sign in error mount your partiton from settings -> extras-> tick on mount /data to /SD ext reboot then manually install Google Play services(Beta 4 and Beta 5 only).
You can find that in gapps zip in system/priv-app named prebuilt GMScore.apk like this..
Make sure your are on latest TWRP or philz or whichever recovery which mounts and supports ext mounting..
Check here for Philz Recovery : Philz Recovery
Check here hor TWRP : TWRP Recovery
Check here for CWM : CWM Recovery
There is no option to enable int2ext in RC2 like previous builds so you need ti flash the script.
If you are a user who doesnt install use or install many apps but want the memory increase:
Just go in settings-> Extras->Tick on /mount /sd ext option->Restart your device.(Not for RC2 as there is no option to enable ext))
If you are using many apps then refer this: (Its int2ext)Script or else you wont be able to download apps from playstore.
The reason for not able to install apps from playstore
The inbuilt script is int2ext+ Which leaves /data to /data (The reason and explanation in detail Check Here)
List of all scripts working check here: Cronmod Scripts
How to copy paste scripts and list of scripts : Check here
If you dont want to do any copy and pasting of scripts just follow this steps:
1. Open the rom zip .. Dont extract
2. Go to system/etc/init.d
3. Now copy the above script in the location given in 2nd step.. It will ask for replace replace it..(Not applicable on RC2)
4. Now flash the rom.
5. Done
You want to oc(Overclocking) refer this: OC kernal for beta 4
OC for beta 5/RC1: OC Kernel for beta 5/RC1 Instagram is not working in this OC Kernel.
OC for RC2 : OC Kernel for RC2
OC for RC4 : OCKernel for RC4
Partition for oc:
SD main-> SD ext (512 mb or more)-> SD cache (65 mb)
All partitions should be primary
SD ext and SD cache partition type should be same.
Ex if SD ext is ext4 then sd cache should also be ext4.
Hit Thanks guys
It will encourage me to make more helpful guides
If facing sign in error install play sevices attached below..

It will work but you need to delete the the script present in system/etc/init.d..
Then install mounts2sd..
Don,t enable the mount to ext option from settings->extras.
But i use m2sd from first custom rom then it will be required to delete the script or simply flash the rom

You need to delete the script from from rom zip then flash the rom.. the reasonn behind deleting the script is there will 2 scripts in init.d folder one in the rom and other made from m2sd this will lead to a bootloop so before using m2sd you need to delete the inbuilt script first.

So I need to first delete the m2sd script from zip then flash the rom then install m2sd app and using terminal emulator increase the internal memory right na

The ss literally shows the script is not installed .. Clear some more apps from system.. Mount system and data then flash m2sd zip if still problems persists download m2sd from PlayStore and configure it..

Flash the ROM..
Now copy the script and paste it in the system/etc/init.d with permission rwxrwxrwx now restart.
Don't select the the mount ext option from extras..
Before copying the script make sure no apps are installed or else its gonna get stuck.

thanks buddy but the problem is that i m getting the inbuilt script by default.
I don't activate it but automatically gets called. i did nothing. now i got 200 mb free space but fb is not installing and many other big apps too
and if i change scripts, it will not boot.
this is my experience just after flashing the rom when no apps were there.
also it never got installed over my ics rom, this rom has bugs related to memory scripts, i told the developer too but don't think he's going to do anything.
btw ty for help

The best way I will say is copy the int2ext script in the ROM zip then flash the ROM.. You can check in settings -> app you would see increased memory cz I m using this method and didn't face any issues ..
