Working Volume Booster

I found a workin volume booster for free. Its called galaxy tuner. Be careful.with the volume.settings because you dont wanna blow your speaker lol.

Are you running a custom rom/kernel or stock?

I am using it also and the media is real loud but the speaker phone volume is the same low. Unless i am not setting it up right.

Where IS the volume booster? 3d Sound? I don't have what you are talking about?
I am on Bionix 2.1, Infusion 1.8Ghz.... Voodoo10..

Well your going to laugh but in the sound section of the program i just put all the sliders in the middle. but i have a friend who knows more about this stuff so going to let him check it out

sorrry. i couldnt get on internet earlier. i got the ringer and stuff louder but call volumes dont seem to boost

How high do you have your settings?

Well anyways, been testing it out for the better of the day... But I didn't try a call.
I am running bionix 2.1 with Super Curio.
THe enhanced 3d sound I boosted the gain to 19, so at full volume I am not blowing my speakers out.
I also changed the EQ settings so it boosts on top of voodoo sound v10. Its nice, the range is much larger than Voodoo V10.
I also did some memory optimizations through this app which is nice too.... Overalll great find!

Hey guys
I have know idea what y'all are talking about, but I have a brand new Samsung infuse out of the box and the volume sucks balls... can some walk me through how to make it louder, step by step please. I don't want to root if I don't have to due to the fact that I know nothing about rooting....
This is also my first android phone. I got tired of apple....

[Q] infused? or serendipity?

I am currently running infused 2.1 with infusion kernel...i guess i can say overall i'm pretty satisfied with it but i'm kind of weird sometimes about my phones and i love to try new things. so i was thinking about going to serendipity 7 and trying it out but i'm wondering from y'all...would i be wasting my time? what's really the difference? should i just chill and stick with infused? i mean the only thing i'm dissatisfied with is the 15fps video capture but i know that won't be any differnt since i'd still be on GB based ROM.
another thing too would be setting up my phone again after switching...like GO launcher settings and all my app settings. nothing i haven't been through before i suppose.
whatchya thinking?

S7 is awesome, and if you want 30 fps video, all you have to do is follow look at this thread

Nice. I will def try that later. I assume it will work with Infused 2.1 then?
And also are you saying that serendipity is more awesome than infused?

The 30fps camera fix worked for me running infused 2.1.

I never tried Infused 1.6 or 2.1.
I liked Infused, but I thought S7 was smoother. If you like the TW theme, I'd go with infused though.
It all depends, try them both out!

I have to agree with Eric on this. I like the look and feel of S7 better but that's just me. And that's my answer... today. It could change tomorrow. LOL.

OK so I'm def gonna go s7 tonight and let the fun begin! I haven't used tibu before and been wanting to try it anyway. So thatll work out for me.

I OC'd my infuse...you can always add Infusion 1.1 or another kernel should you so desire.

Aight. Flashed s7 and fixed video capture. And I'm a cool cat now. I like the simplicity of the rom and I'll defense be rollin without go launcher for a while. Its nice and everything but a lil busy for me. I'm def feeling this s7. Nice and sleek. Comes with some cooool wallpapers too. Thanks for the advice.
Oh yeah. If I had infusion kernel flashed over infused do I have to do it again now or should it stick in regardless of changing roms?

In my experience, I have to reflash the kernel again.

As stated before, try them both. I'm on Serendipity right now and loving it, but I'm about to try Infused again. Last time I tried it I couldn't get passed the Samsung logo.

I'd definately agree. I had Infused 1.5.3 before S7, and I thought it was a good upgrade from stock, but Froyo is jerky as hell compared to S7. I'm definitely going to be a free agent though once they get HDMI fixed.
Gotta try them all!

S7 is quite slick. However after about 14 hours I am seeing decreased battery life (more so than on infused although it wasnt great there either) Not really a deal breaker for me as I come prepared... 1 x 3500 battery and 3 x 1800 batteries LOL. Just try and stop me haha.

[Q]Which battery saving app.

What battery saving apps do any of you recommend. I don't think I'm getting as good a battery life as I'm hearing others get. My battery usage stats say android system is using way too much......about 40 percent sometimes.

A bug? It happins almost all the time weather I pull the battery or just reboot. Most the time Android system is #2 on the list
For me I'm running I9000 surface rom, hellraised with your daily driver kernel

Regardless of your partiality, you are still correct. To back up this statement, I point to the current battery life on my infuse. I am sitting at 11% after 3 days, 50 minutes with a screen on time of 2 hours over those 3 days. One hour of voice calls and HEAVY text usage.

Stability is the #1 factor for me. That and lack of amateur theming. Can't stand it when authors choose to put in weird looking fonts and other stuff. I watched the video that showed off zeus rom though and that is definitely not the case. EXTREMELY pretty.

ZEUS! it is!!
All normal fonts and colors! Been running it for weeks now and I don't want to switch to anything else. Had problems with other roms like Bluetooth not working (which is important for me) but not this baby!

I used stock rom Roger 2.3.3 XKG3 changed kernel to InfusionGB-CoreB2, Thunderbolt tweak and Go-launcher-ex themes, it's stable work well.

Yeah definitely Zeus. I run it and it is pretty much the ****.

I've enjoyed using CM7, but am looking to switch to a ROM that sites basic 'phone' functions better.
Any recommendations for a nice ROM that sites a superior job at: accessing data, making and receiving calls, Bluetooth headset operability, etc?
I have constant trouble with all of this on CM7, and need to do better...despite living the ROM's other features.

Been bouncing around to different roms. All that I've tried are pretty good. Zeus, Infused, CatyRom, Saurom...but I keep coming back to Zeus.

On the Samsung Infuse, does anybody know of an app to keep the capacitive buttons lit while the screen is on. The phone is not rooted.

you need to be rooted and running a kernel that supports it.
and then you can use an app off the market called BLN Control to customize it further.

BLN doesn't work for the infuse

it worked just fine for me when I was running Infusion rom.
I haven't used it on MIUI...

Infuse does not support BLN ...period
