Battery sucks!!!!!!
Mine battery just last for 7 to 8 hrs.......
I m facing a new problem-
When the battery shows its 15% left......i make the screen off.....then after 10 to 15 min,i check the battery it shows 20%........
you better give it to samsung service center and ask them to replace it....
battery has 6 months warranty
If you have your phone rooted you can try to callibrate your battery.
I have used an app for this, but i think also CWM can also wipe your batterystats:

How come our battery sucks? 1600mAh?! Higher than i9000 with 1500mAh..perhaps u use it like a psp..it usually lasts 8 hrs if you always play games on it (like finishing a game pack of angry birds). I have tried that.. When u use it casually it can last a day and a half..

this. plus, haven't you read about other custom ROMs, like cranium, boosting average use from 1 day to more like 3 days?
Thanx guys....
Thnx guys for ur suggestions........and replies
Dude, the first month is a pain in the ass.. Battery lasts only around 8 hrs without any hard core use.. Give it a month.. Regular charge discharge cycles ( as much as u can help it. ;-) ).. After d first mnth u can get d maximum battery life..
I now get around 1 day 15 hrs with moderate use - 6 hrs of wifi, 30 minutes of music, 30 minutes games, 30 minutes of calls, lotsa msging..
15 hrs if gprs is on all day..

I'm having a great overall experience with the Inspire 4G w/ CM7. Just wanted to show you guys some screenshots of the battery life I'm getting so far. These shots I took after a day of heavy usage, including a few hours of net browsing, texting, and e-mails.

Hey try using juice defender or current widget to exceed your current battery life. Both control which apps that are eating up your battery. Kills the non needed ones.
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA App
i've seen all the complaints about battery life but i must say mine is more than adequate. maybe because for the first 4 days i had the phone, after charging it for 10+hrs, i ran the battery all the way to 0 (til it shutdown), recharged to full, then drained it again.
it was my old habit from my nokia days.
Yeah, to be honest, this is equal to or better than the battery life I was getting with my Captivate. I can tell you with an absolute certainty that the battery did have to "break in" for a short period, after installing CM7.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Its deff better than captivate, 99% due to the screen. I got over 5 hours screen on time in a 16 hour period the other day with my rom/kernel combo with screen brightness at about 40-50%. That's pretty damn good, way better than the captivate could ever get
On my LG Ally i was lucky to get 6-8 hours with just light use. With the Inspire on cm7 i have gotten around 20ish hours with moderate to high use.
I'm still shocked that i am able to get that much battery life. lol
I'm still breaking my Captivate records. I took my phone off the charger @ 7:00am on Wednesday the 20th. I'm now at 15%.
What roms are you guys running. Im on coredroid 5.4. I get about 20 h with moderate use. I consider it to be pretty good. But no way can I get over like 30 h. I don't like to use juice defender or setcpu. Don't feel like I should use apps that override android os. Especially GB is so will optimized and efficient.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
I'm on CM7 and only wish I could get the battery you guys are talking about. I just went from 93% to 90% in a matter of minutes doing nothing on the phone. It was sitting on my desk!

Not at all. It's my personal and work cell, so I talk, text, surf, and play games what I would consider a moderate amount. I don't use a large overclock. I use the smart ass governor on Leedroid's most recent rom, and my screen brightness at 1/3.
There are days that I can put it tonthe test, but my first charge got me 35 hours with 5 hours awake time.
That's it? I got this a while ago and that's before I did some optimizations... I'm going to see what it can pull this weekend before it hits the 15% warning.
Apparently I can't add images until I get some more posts.
Hey everyone, I have now had my Nexus S for 3 days and have loved every minute of it.

I still have 39% battery after two days! This is really amazing I think. Granted I only had 2 phone calls in that time but I have been texting a lot and playing around with settings.
How long does your battery last and do you have any tips on improving battery life?
I am running CM7.1 with Go Launcher Ex and have the brightness set on very low plus I don't use screen orientation switch either.
What is your screen on time?

I run it completely stock and unrooted, and get about a day with average use. By far the best smart phone I have owned.
Matrix or Trinity seem to give the best battery life.

Sorry I don't know how to find screen on time.
I put my phone on charge after 2 days 22 hours and it was still on 19% but I charged it to be safe because I am expecting a very important phone call.
Calculating data regarding battery stats using morfic TEUV-S22-05102011, you could reach around 80 hours with cell connected but having very little activity.
Same place as that pic but click on display that will have shown display on time

Ok I found it, it says 3hours 24min and 10s.
wow.... 3h 24min display time and still 39% battery? amazing.

That's still impressive battery life.
For the people on matrix or trinity kernel, how long is your battery lasting you off charger? And how heavy of a user are you? Just curious been messing around trying to get it over a day :/

Hi everybody, it's been a while i'm trying to fix that problem.
My Sensation XE was overheating 'til 40 degreas sometimes (everytime).
I think it's not a problem with the kernel, or the rom, or anything else in the firmware... I follow some xda fans advices and bought a Saner 1900mah battery, and it simply fixed the problem, my phone never pass over 25,6 degreas it's the maximum i saw. That's for the overheating problem.
For the battery drain problem, my phone is running on the battery since 1 day and 3h 27m'' and i still have 36% of battery Oo. I up a screenshot

I wanna get a extended batterie but do you need another backdoor for the battery ?? And also when you got it what did you do ? Like what steps youve been through?
Put battery
Let it drain to 0%
Then charge back to 100%?

Does the ROM affect battery life as well? What ROM are you using?
And yes when i recieve the saner battery i used ut immediatly and wait to 0% then charge it all night long. You must do it to calibrate the battery.
Im using Ordroid 3.0.2 sense 4 but i dont think it affect à lot on the battery life... Im pretty sure its not... Just a bit.. à tiny bit.

getting 10 hours with wifi on....
Got 10 hours of juice on 3G network
This thing has a killer battery! The time I got it, I was downloading apps and games for around 4 hours and then listened to music, surfed the web and also played music videos for two or three more hours before the charge finally went to zero.
After flashing CM10 though, I barely get 3 hours with net on. Works wonders on flight mode with only music and apps though
from 8 to 10 hours, wifi, 3g and some apps, still some batery drains, not sure what could be.. im using cm7 official
I once used the battery bl 4c of a Nokia phone placed it with the help of paper it lasted for about 10 hours
almost same as fits battery.

just this kind of battery work good for me !
I have a Galaxy S4 SHV-E330S currently running Official 4.4.2 and only gets 3:30 mins of screen time on my phone. I lose around a percent of battery life every two hours. This is really terrible for me as it is very low compared to other S4 models considering I have the Snapdragon 800 processor, so it's supposed to have more efficient battery life, please post screen shots of your battery usage and screen time as well and the firmware you are currently running. Please indicate the specific model of your S4. Thanks!
Please post your updates, I'll be adding my screenshots soon.

There is nothing wrong with your screen on time. 3h30m is normal. And losing 1% every 2h? Come on that's really good. That's like 8,3 days standby time.....

Thanks for the post, sir. What's your screen time and what model do you have. i'ma. Bit disappointed because in gsmarena's review, it says S4 is supposed to have 10 hrs of battery life while browsing the internet. And i'm only reaching about 30% of it!
