Much better
I was waiting for this, the stock market on the note isnt for this size of screen so everything is cropped and chopped. Not readible at all ....
This update fixes all the problems
BIG Thanks.

confirmed. working as it should (no graphical glitches, usage of screen). thank you very much for the link.

My apps are disappeared
You are wright, it's look nice, but I have one problem. Now when I want to go to My apps it show me the screen as on the image attached. If I choose browse apps or games it send me back to the main window. So I can not reach My apps on GNote. Though, i see all free and purchased apps on my pc...
...could be because of some apps installed from blackmart?.... Any idea, experience?

Clear Android Market data clicking on Settings/Applications/Manage applications/All/Market/Clear data and connect again to see if it helps.

Thanks, but it doesn't help. I cleared all data and it's still the same.

ADW Launcher EX v.1.1

ADWLauncher EX 1.1 released and ADWNotifier free for everyone
Hi everyone and happy new year!
I’ve released an small update for ADWLauncher EX with the following changes:
Added option to open the app drawer in full screen (hiding the dock/dockbar)
Added options to tweak the “fancy icon backgrounds” (now you can select a custom color and enable/disable glossy effect)
Fix the dock icons reverting sometimes on rotation
Fixed import/export ADW settings for Samsung devices running android 2.2.1 update
Lots of fixes for “ForceCloses” and other stability and code improvements.
And to celebrate the new year and the ADWLauncherEX success, I’ve published the ADWNotifier app free for everyone on the market!
Hope you enjoy!

amazing launcher
Thanks to you, my Launcherpro has been collecting some serious dust.........thank you x10 for the best launcher available!!!
Thanks for the update. This is by far my favorite launcher.one suggestion, is there any way to get the cube and book transition in next release. Keep up the good work.

Maybe I'll try out ADW Launcher EX now that ADWNotifier is free. I saw no reason paying for a "feature", which is standard with Launcher Pro.

loving the launcher
but .... still getting lots of fcs even after the update
sticking with it tho as its very pretty and very quick. As a non-developer not sure what I can do to help with testing/debugging
Can EX import settings from the free launcher yet?
Hey, I installed ADWLauncherEX form market. Now, I'm running into some problems:
The Launcher won't save any settings, I set. In fact, every time I exit the settings dialog, the changelog pops up again. Anyone know, what to do about that?

edit: found it, you have to use an app like root explorer and delete 2 directories located in dbdata/databases.I don't recall their exact name, but they both contained the string "adw" and were almost at the end of the list.

Thanks, that did the trick. Found only one folder cointaining the string "adw", but it worked nevertheless. If it weren't for these internet forums I'd have grey hairs by now.

no worries man..i found one aswell, but most of the people with the same problem wrote they found two..
Nevertheless it works like a charm so..
Launcher works great for me so gar on a Galaxy S. However, I noticed one annoying thing: Loading the shortcut list for applications takes an eternity (I have 300+ apps installed). The same thing goes for the dialog in ADWNotfier, where you can select the SMS oder Mail-App. This definitely needs some code improvement.
Hey, I downloaded the app yesterday and it still wont download to my phone I have the captivate and it just runs a bar saying authorizing i left it overnight and it still has that running so i canceled and redid it, still nothing it wont physically install whats wrong?
I love the speed of ADW EX.
Only significant complaint so far is that there's no direct access to System Preferences from the launcher menu. Shouldn't have to go into sub-menus to access the system prefs.
Question: Is there a way to get SMS/Gmail/Voicemail notifications in the dock?
Both LauncherPro+ and Go Launcher will attach such counts to the relevant icons, but I don't see this in ADWLauncher EX. In ADW Settings > General Preferences > System Preferences there's options for "Show notifications" and "Bubble font size", but I have no idea how these apply. I sent myself a SMS, and though my Notification bar was showing one message, there wasn't anything visible in the Launcher itself.
-edit-
OK. Got it working. Didn't realize I need to download ADW Notifier as well.
Would be nice if the notifiers were smart and only wiped the numbers after you actually read the email (for example) rather than as soon as you open Gmail though. That's how Go Launcher seems to work.
So far I'm liking this. I am having a problem, and I don't know if it's a feature or a bug. Every time I swipe down on any part of the screen the notification bar will come down. I switched back to Launcher Pro and it did not do this. Also when switching to the hidden dock it drags the icon form the normal dock. I would also like to see a way to change the dock backgrounds like on Launcher pro. And I'm with saltorio, It would be nice if there was a system prefs from the main menu. But I could get used to it where it is now. Keep up the good job.

So is ADW ever going to get some widgets similar to LPP? Would live to give ADW a serious consideration but having to pay for other apps just to make up for ADWs shortcomings doesn't make sense.

With this update.
It says that under my apps will be listed applications and games that are associated with my account. Under that I have two buttons for Applications and Games, each takes me back to market and lists applications and games.
Tried clearing app cache, cache and dalvik cache.
I also tried replacing Vending.apk and clearing all cache again.
No luck.

This is my first problem with market, even ICS version worked great for me.
Is it just me that feels this new market it's snappier...
Thanks..
My problem seams to be related to some multiple account bug.

Downloaded the market couple hours ago played around with it and just now I went to it and I was back on the old one??? So I exited out and went back to the app and a error popped up saying app doesn't exist!??? So I had to reinstall it...did Google take it off my phone?? Or....? Weird!

Imo, with this version the market is now PERFECT. Everything I could think of that needed improvement has been covered. Yay.
It seams that problems with new Market version where caused by Apps that where restored using Titanium backup. (missing apps in My Apps tab)
Works great on ARHD 3.6.4

Apps all over the place

On my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (HC 3.2), my apps (in the Apps screens) were always automatically organised in alphabetical order, without gaps.
On my new Galaxy Tab 7.7 (also HC 3.2), they seem to be all over the place, with gaps. It's a bit like my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone (GB 2.3.6), on which I use the AppZorter app to keep the apps sorted alphabetically.
Is anyone else experiencing this with their Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Apps ?

Yes, there seems to be some bug with the Touchwiz UX
There is no auto sorting of apps, and sometimes a blank page will remain even after i removed all apps from that page
Not to mention it does a poor job of remembering my folders
I've done a firmware update through kies (now ZSLA2/HK version)
And that seemed to have stabilized the touchwiz somewhat, though still no auto-sorting
It seems to add them in order of install, rather than alphabetically like on the 10.1/8.9. I also saw a blank page once but it cleared itself after a reboot.
Yes, I noticed it too. While generally, it seems to go by order of installation, it's not always the case either. For instance, some of my original apps got mixed up together with apps that I installed.
Anyway, I'm no longer dealing with this after moving to GO Launcher Ex, where you get to choose the sorting method (Alphabetical, Latest installed first, Earliest installed first).
One, and perhaps the only way for now, is to clear data for the TWLauncher app. It will automatically sort all the apps in system and you downloaded ones in alphabetical order. You will loose customization though (widget placements, etc).
That was one of many reasons I switched to ADW launcher. I hope Samsung will come up with more customizable TW for ICS.
I have created folders and put my apps in.
It is a bit cleaner...
Apps won't stay long inside the folders!

Answer: Do not use the plus sign inside the folders. Press, "Edit", and drag and drop the apps into the folders. They will stay in the folders, then. Worked for me.

Turn your S7e into an S8

So I Thought I would throw a quick guide together on all of the apps I have installed from the S8 onto My S7e.
Below is a link to a zip that includes all of the apps.
https://mega.nz/#!btR3nB5T!pYR9PRmeDn10b5N3CQDLJ5cgk5_De4LItdYpe7KATtg
After you install them all I recommend going into recovery and wiping your cache. If any of the apps crash, clear the apps cache and data. I have been running all of them for the lay 24 his without issue.
Highlights:
1.) the new gallery app is FAST
2.) Apps edge has some new features and transitions
3.) s health is a new design
4.) smother faster performance on all apps
5.) Possibly a slightly better battery performance from device management improvements
Attached is a screen shot of the full list of apks.

No it changes how the app loads the thumb nails of your pics, watch when you scroll through a huge album (like 1300 pictures) you can see that it only keeps the thumb nails on screen loaded. It's changed how it calls up those thumb nails and how it manages those resources.
It is unbelievably faster. I really was surprised. It pulls up even my biggest albums and/or folders instantly. WAY faster.
AOD keeps crashing but no other issue. Thanks OP!
I'm pretty sure for contacts to work you would need to install all three phone apk files also, they are all tied together and work as one. There's a s8 system dump over in the s8 section with all those files.

Apps get killed/refreshed

guys, I have an issue here
mine is 6GB ram of 7 Pro
I open only two apps in background, when I switch to another app, the app just refreshed, meaning it was killed, why is that so?
Now I can't multitask because I can barely open few apps and keep it running in background
I'm on latest open beta 1 though
Even when I'm on stable OxygenOS I feel the same issue, anyone ?
Go to settings, developer option and running services
My system shows 3.6GB to around 4GB usage, so much ?

Set the apps you want running to don't optimize.
Are you on Android Q?
Because there you have to give it some time to adapt to your usage pattern, so that it will make sure your apps are loaded when you usually use them. Worked good for me after a few days.
If you still want to turn off battery optimization:
1. Disable advanced optimization under battery settings.
2. Set your apps to "Don't optimize" in the battery settings.
3. Lock them in the recents menu.
