That such a forum as I leave my first job of modifying an unlocked android is in a room I saw what I extracted and edited by the battery that had not liked me so it is changed by the honeycomb style and I hope pleasing addition to changing other small icons work great on my x10 will not know if other phones but try but first make a back up file-response framework
installation
- Unzip the zip and extract framework-res file and copy it to the sd and copied with the explorer to the path root system> framework>-res.apk framework and replace the file you have and reset the mobile xD

This is a notification Icon set that I created based off of the Gingerbread Icons. I decided to post a zip file with all the icons in it so that a user can add them to the files they have on there own phone. This will preserve any custom modifications made to those files. Please enjoy and if you use them in a theme or anywhere else please make sure to credit me. Below is a pdf with the instructions on how to get the icons in the files and install them with a flashable zip. If you have any questions please send me a PM I will try to answer it ASAP. Most of the users on XDA are pretty advanced so I think the instructions will be nothing new or different from modify the files in other ways.
Enjoy! AND ALWAYS DO A BACKUP BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO CHANGE ANYTHING!

Ok, I just tried it again and it worked. Thanks!
I followed all the steps and it looks like the only icon that actually changed was the signal bars...hmm
what icons did you copy over and did you put them in the right files?

2 - Backup your existing bootanimation.zip in system/media/ if needed.
3 - Copy bootanimation.zip to system/media/ and overwrite existing .zip (use ES File Explorer or Root Explorer etc.)

You can also push via adb but it dosent allow me.

Always nandroid before modding!!! Just in case....
Here is one way to change the icon of your spen..
I used rom toolbox to copy the framework-res.apk to desired modding location, its found under system, framework... then used zarchive to find desired icon.. long press to copy... then in upper left hit the x. Or cancle whichever it says.... (copied png is still ready) find and open copied framework apk as archive (long press on copied apk) then copy tw_pointer....png image of choice to drawable mdpi folder which is found in the res folder.. close zarchive and then use rom toolbox again and MOVE framework-res.apk back to to system, which will overwrite the existing. Then reboot and all is well!!!!! Icon changed!!
Here are some icons... Just remove the number out of the name before using icon!! Should be named like this
tw_pointer_spot_hovering_spen.png
http://db.tt/2rHZz2o9
All credit goes to bioslayer for making the icons!!
Theres a aroma installer being made in the verizon n2 threads. Wanted to share this for now until hopefully we get an installer for the n10.1...
Notice the green jelly bean in the lower left of the screen shot.
Tapped from an annihilated N10.1

How To Guide Install custom fonts

Found this easy method to install fonts, this works for miui 13 android 12 xiaomi.eu.
this has been tested on stock, as of miui 13 android 12 it doesn't work since the import button is missing from the
theme menu.
download zfont3 then open it to add your font file, or the entire folder where your fonts are.
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
should look like this
Go ahead and click the font you want to install
Now please select method 2 to create a mtz file
after it will tell you too create a folder and just accept, inside that folder the mtz files of the fonts will be saved
Finally it will tell you to apply or done, please click done
apply doesn't work
now got to settings, and then to "wallpaper & personalization"
the scroll down to themes
then scroll down and click "import"
Open the miui folder, then click the theme folder
your new font theme are there, and just import the
then just apply it
finally go back to settings "display" then "fonts"
and your custom fonts are their
hope this helps
does't work for me (POCO X4 GT), all steps done, new themes are not appearing
