Video review: Otterbox commuter for the HTC Sensation - HTC Sensation

Hey guys,
Got my hands on the Otterbox commuter for the HTC Sensation and I wanted to share my thoughts on the case. It is well built and feels solid in the hand, this will definitely provide great protection. The port coverings are useful and fit well, but the back is a little slippery. Watch the video below for all the info:

thx for the video mate

My review:
Love it.
Excellent build quality though the silicone grabs a little dust.
The back is not as slippery as he says.. it has a rougher texture to the back, where you can see in the video. the phone actually feels solid in hand.
Only thing i dont like about the back though, is if you leave it on a flat surface, and you tend to move it, it spins because theres a bump in the middle as you see in the video above.
The downfall to that is if your not holding your phone, and want to unlock it on a flat surface, or type on it, it will spin and you will not be able to.
Otherwise, perfect case .
P.S: You can get the case brand new on ebay for around 25 or less!
Saves you about 10+ dollars.

I have been using this on my sensation for a while too.
Gotta say, excellent case, not as bulky or ugly as some other otterbox cases.
Premium protection. My only gripe is that due to the silicon on top+bottom its a little hard to pocket, but if you are at all worried about protecting your sensation, this is the way to go!
Also it seals tightly around the corners which would help to prevent dust getting under the screen!

I noticed that the holes for the back case are not complete. Does it affect its performance?

With that case on, will you hesitate to hold your phone steady about 4-5 feet off the concrete or hardwood floor (side walk will work too) and drop it down?
Case looks pretty good and I bet it is awesome for dust and scratches protection. But I have doubts on how effective it is against "droppage".

I would always hesitate to drop my phone haha - however something like this would make me feel a little safer and more protected.
The silicone inner layer does a great job of absorbing shock, it really depends what angle it hits the floor to decide if it will break or not.
This and the Trident Aegis seem to be the best options for drop protection.

Honest opinions on the 6 cases I've owned.

Being the case junkie that I am, I've experienced quite a few cases for my Inspire.
This is just to try to help anyone in deciding what case to get or not get. Also, if anyone is interested I'm selling some of these that I've used only for a day or so, I'll explain later in this post. These are ranked from my least favorite to most favorite. So, lets begin.
6. Speck Candyshell- Although many people are big fans of Speck, I just felt like they produced an clunky, ugly case for the phone. It basically added a second bezel to the Inspire and I really didn't like the look or feel. Although the protection is decent, it is way over priced and the aesthetics just don't do it for me. I actually returned this to the AT&T store the same day I bought it.
5. Seidio Surface II- Probably the most annoying case I've owned. Once I put it on, it took me over two hours to learn the 'trick' to getting it off. Although I like the soft touch finish and the protection is good for a sleek case, the hassle of taking it off and the ugly back camera cutout annoy me.
4. Otterbox Defender- Alas, the Defender. While I can say I felt like my phone was virtually indestructible with this case on, it was just a bit too much. I couldn't fit the phone in my jeans pocket and it would get covered with lint due to the rubber outer case. The screen protector scratched easily and felt strange as well. The protection though is a major selling point and probably a good investment for someone without an insurance policy. Protection good, making my phone a rubbery brick, not so good.
3. Otterbox Commuter- While it is much slimmer than the Defender, the Commuter offers decent protection with a few flaws. I really am not of fan of the plastic backing of the case, it's slippery and feels very fragile to me. Also, the port cover for the usb and headphone jack is annoying to maneuver in place and often times falls out. The case is decent protection and slim, but there are those couple things that bring it down.
2. Trident Aegis- It's protection + good looks + a decent price. The Aegis offers Defender-like protection in a variety of colors in a modern, attractive design. There is basically nothing wrong with this case besides the impossible-to-avoid-bulk and the semi-challenging installation.
1. My favorite case I've used to date: Case-Mate Tough. So far, this is perfection for me. It's sleek, it's protective, it has got a nice grip finish, it's everything without the trade-offs. You can bet that my phone rests in my Tough as I type this. It's the best of every world and it's even a value! I got mine for $16 shipped on eBay.
So, if you're in the market for a case and you stumble upon these, maybe you'll take my opinions into account, or maybe you wont. Thanks for reading.
Thanks for the reviews. I am using the seidio convert and like the defender, it is a bit much. I may have to try the case mate tough.
Again, thanks for the time to review these and the money spent lol.

Haha, I am also an accessory whore, I have about 20 cases for my iPod touch 4th gen(Not that I use it all) and Currently only own about 5 cases for my Inspire and about 20 micro usb cables...
I was looking into getting the otterbox defender, considering I have their case on every device I own besides my Inspire, but your review tempted me to not get it...
Thanks for doing the work for me
otter
only one i've tried was the otterbox commuter and I really like it... but you're right.. the usb cover can be annoying at times
thanks for the reviews though... i might try out the case mate tough soon
I have the s line case from eBay. It is very small which means it prolly isn't the greatest protection but it fits into the pocket perfectly and isn't super gelly and stretchy.
Best part is its 5 dollars and offers nice grippy sides.
Seidio Surface II it is useless when trying to use an screen protector. I have try both clear coat and skinomi and it pulls both from the edges. DO NOT BUY !! I will give a shot to one of the Otterbox.
+1 for the Case Mate Tough Case, have one on my Nexus One and my Inspire, haven't looked back

+1 for the Otterbox commuter. I couldn't agree more with your review on that. I'm still a huge fan of it though....even aside from the annoying rubber piece near the bottom of the device lol.
I have the HTC Inspire Casemate Tough case, and it is AWESOME! It's a bit of a ***** to get the battery out when you have those times, but other than that, I love the dual-layer design, and awesome grip that it provides. Definitely better than the Body Glove case I bought for my Captivate.
I have been using the Casemate tough since I got my phone in the middle of May. I must say that I do like the way it feels. I don't think it is too bulky. Feels just right. Only thing I do not like about the case is the bottom rubber piece on the front side of the phone. It is flimsy and moves!
I just got the Otterbox Commuter and I like how it looks, but the back is too slick for me as well. I like how the bottom piece of the rubber is stopped in place by the plastic hard shell.
To give an idea of what I mean to some, I place my phone in my left pants pocket. Top pointing down. When I go to grab my phone, I tend to pull it by the bottom piece of the case like I used to do with my iPhone. Granted I have been getting accustomed to not doing that with the inspire due to its bigger shape, it is still a little annoying that the little rubber piece on the casemate is like that.
Does anyone have a suggestion on a similiar case?

So if removal was not a factor, would the Seidio be higher in your ratings? Also, do either the Seidio or CM Tough hang up like a silicone cover when you remove them from your pocket?
Thanks for the comparison.

I agree with the OP about the candyshell speck case. It's waaaay to bulky and almost doubles the size of the phone. At first I gungho over it but now I can't stand it lol. I wish phone manafactuers would make the body more tough because the look of this phone is soooo sexy

Cannot agree more! I too have been using this since I got the phone in mid-May and have been liking it so far. The other thing that I do not like is the inside rubbery protection tends to catch a lot of lint when put in the pockets. Other than it, the case is solid with a good look and feel.
i'm waiting on my commuter
i'll post some comments
Have any of you tried the Casemate Pop?
I have two Otterbox defenders and you are right about the lint problem, it drives me nuts but I have to admit that I don't mind the bulk. I came from a 5 year old WM smartphone that was a brick without a case, haha. So I don't mind a bulky phone.
The only reason I got the defender was that it has the plastic hinges for snapping it into adapters, so you can purchase mounts for it and put it in your car with a satisfying "click". That and I decided to opt out of insurance, since adding 6$ a month and a 150$ deductible seemed silly to me.
The phone is extremely slippery without any cover on it and the bottom half of the phone (where the antenna is) will crack or dent with the slightest impact because it is hollow.
The next thing I am going to build is a custom dock for the car, I just wish I didn't have to dismantle the entire dash to add an FM modulator to the antenna line . I have a bad habit of breaking plastic fasteners and rivets.
Thanks for the reviews, ill be avoiding the defender cases because of their size.

I picked up the casemate tough the other day..
I really like the looks and feel of it....But.....
My GPS has def took a hit....Took a LOT longer to get a lock....sometimes it never did....
On the times I couldnt get a lock I took it out of the case and within 5 seconds...Bam...Locked on..
I heard the seidio has no effect on GPS signal...I guess Ill give it a try..
Had the innocase II on my Nexus one with no ill effects..

Just ordered a Defender, should be here in a day or so. Bulk doesn't bother me, I carried my last phone with a projector attached to it. I'm a mechanic and really want the best protection I can get. Know what you mean about those plastic clips.
For an FM modulator, I like the Motorola T505. It clips to your visor and you can use it to stream music and as a speakerphone. It just won't charge or hold your phone. Upload some pics when you get your dock finished though.
If the Sedio wasn't so difficult to remove it would be higher up, although it still scratches easily and allows a lot of dust to build up under the case. I've been soley using the tough since this post and my inspire has taken some nasty spills with no harm done at all. Also, I just took off my screen protector last week and have found using the phone without one is so much better. Anyone else agree?

Case mate barely there for me. I've always liked the minimal amount of casing and have been lucky enough so far to never need anything more. Anything bigger than this case seems too bulky for me. It's a quality case and has a nice matte feel to it.

Best case for DZ

Hey guys I have been looking around for a decent case for my dz but have been unsuccessful as i always hear something bad about it once I hear of a new one.
I also looking for one that will not add too much bulk. Also it has to be very durable, example, is I hear the otterbox breaking often. I would want it to not be problematic to place in my pocket. A benefit would be extra grip though... Also hard plastics I fear will damage my phone....
So since all these issues are listed its probably clear why I am having trouble...
I heard of a phantom z skin. Chromium or something of the. Sort that looks cool. Does that one add good grip to the point where it is unlikely ill drop it. Any suggestions to a skin or case you use would. Be appreciated as long as it meets most of the criteria I listed..
Will reread after I get home on my computer because using my phone for this is somewhat irritating so sorryfor any typos or sounding rude at any point (it is unintentionally done from annoyance lol)

you may not like the style but by far my favorite case is the oem g1 pocket thing.
you can put any larger battery on the g2 and it still fits inside
no reason to put a screen protector on it cuz you cover the screen with the case
wont chip away at the g2 body where the case mounts up to
slides easily into your pocket (unlike any rubber one)
costs 3-4 dollars shipped from china on ebay
personally I see no other options for me. I use the mugen 3600mah battery, i hate cases that chip away at my phone and dont slide into my pocket. I cant stand screen protectors and the price of this case is a joke

I'm using otterbox now ..and it's not easy-breaking-often
What about Zagg or Madskinz? It's not a case but the full body covers do a pretty good job of a case in terms of scratch proof and adds no bulk.
I personally use Bodyguardz (a subsidary of NLU products) and they're pretty good. It takes a few days for the skin to "cure" but after that it's awesome.
The good thing about Bodyguardz though, that makes me come back to them repeatedly is that:
1) they offer lifetime replacement at 5bucks. just send the used skin back to them so they know you're not selling it to someone else
2) They give 20% off everything as long as you sign in your account
3) They have a competitive upgrade program. Check their FB page and they'll send you a code for 30% off their products if you show a pic of your product with someone else's "protection"
4) Ridiculously great customer service. I get replies back pretty fast and they are very courteous. They even take your suggestions sometimes to improve upon their products.
EDIT: I forgot, free shipping over 24.99 bucks.
Very pleased with the otterbox, bulks the phone up a bit,but I like that ,also fits in the Desire HD car holder in my fathers car.

I love my otterbox as well, sure it bulks it a bit but I've dropped it twice on accident on concrete and the otter hasn't broke and protected my phone as expected.

I got the Case Mate Barely There case. Fits nicely and doesn't bulk up the phone too much. Added bonus is a screen protector and microfibre cleaning cloth.
I messed the installation of the included screen protector - dropped it accidentally just before applying and it instantly picked up some dirt on the sticky side I'll have to get another one, or maybe I'll write CaseMate about a replacement.
Two things I noticed:
- dust tends to gather near the edges of the front part around the screen
- I think the phone doesn't close as tightly as without the case, the "hooks" of the case get in the way. The difference is really miniscule, though, so it's not a big deal.
bodyguardz for sure. I personally can't stand added bulk to the G2 because of the hinge etc it seems to stress the phone out imo.
Personally all I've used is InvisibleSHIELD by Zagg.
Absolutely great product and have not had any scratches even when placed in my pocket with my keys. I have the full body installation and I had it installed in store.
Includes free lifetime replacement warranty for the life of your device.
45 day money back guarantee.
Free shipping on over $29.98 orders.
I'd make sure I had someone to install it if I did it again. The installation can be a little tricky.
I currently use the otterbox commuter series on my G2. I have been looking for a belt clip type case. No horizontal cases pls. That would fit my G2 with the otterbox on the phone... Any ideas would be appreciated...
I picked up an oem hard plastic case made by htc for tmobile at the tmo store not long ago. It fits super snug and looks great. Shiny metallic blue black gradient. I'm not too concerned with inordinate wear on mounting points. The ones on here seem quite sturdy as it stands. Not bad for 10$.
Adds a bit of bulk but it is a case. They add bulk and sacrifice themselves so your phone may live. Quit *****ing & get a belt mount soft case if it bugs you that much.
Hey dude above me have you considered checking out one of the numerous online vendors and searching for "vertical leather clip case, htc g2"? Or even getting out of your basement & hitting up a tmobile store?
You have a damn android phone, use the search button.

You can go site :case-mate.com
i think it great
TPU skin for about 2 dollars on ebay is the best case for any phone its a semi stiff rubberized silicone molded to the phones shape that covers front and back and is virtually indestructable. I covered my phone with the zagg invisible shield and then the tpu over that and I've dropped it numerous times on many surfaces without so much as a scratch. The case can be put on and off very quickly and never falls off. Its also improves the grip feel. Did I mention its 2 bucks nothing to lose.

You must not be able to understand English very well, I said I'm using a otterbox on my phone and would like to keep my otterbox but find a vertical belt clip for my phone. So I can attach my phone to the clip, with otterbox. And yes I have searched here and on google and on ebay for this type of case but "NOTHING" Now go troll someplace different, so please shut up and give that hole in your face a chance to heal.
yikes, lots of hostility floating around...
I would recommend getting the invisible shield and then pairing it with a belt pouch.
great combo and a well balanced mix of grip, portability, slim form factor, and protection. So long as you don't drop your phone while you have it out...

Lol! There is one I use with my htc oem rubberized case. Its a speck universal holster. It fits any hardshell case. Have fun... and take some antidepressants for God's sake!
Using an otterbox, thing that bugs me though is how hard it is to remove without breaking the clips (when I need to change batteries as my spare is an extended one).
used to have a zagg invisishield on an older phone, great how it protects the phone but overtime it turned brownish yellow and the corners collect a lot of dirt.
I really want to see an otterbox close up. I'm in the uk and can't find it for much less than £20. Basically I want to know if its worth the cash. Generally I'm quite careful with my phones but I'm into outdoors stuff.
Does anyone know a bricks and mortar shop that stocks them?

[Review] Seidio Active Combo

If you’ve ever been a customer of Seidio before, then you know and expect the quality and craftsmanship that they put into their products. It is my pleasure to write that the Active case and holster combo for the HTC Sensation 4G meets nothing less than these expectations, and offers the level of comfort, protection, and functionality that is desired. As with their past products, Seidio has continued to masterfully craft the Active case to allow for full access to all functionality ports (charging, audio, camera, speakerphone, and buttons) on your device, and have done so without adding unnecessary weight or bulk to the overall feel. Additionally, the case is comprised of Seidio’s traditional soft touch material that is held in place by a heavy duty plastic shell, which maximizes the overall protection of the device and offers an unparalleled shock resistance. The holster is also made of Seidio’s heavy duty plastic, which holds the protected device very snug and safe with the assistance of the high quality clip up top. If you’re in the market for a case that will provide maximum drop protection for your HTC Sensation 4G and feel smoother and more streamlined than anything else currently available, then you can’t go wrong with the Active case and holster combo.
All of Seidio’s products are available at http://www.seidioonline.com/

Looks nice! I like the look of it. Kinda reminds me of a toughbook lol. But I love the look of the combo when put together. I may get a blue one to change it up a bit .
Great review! How does it fit on your belt? I currently have a universal pouch. It works but looks too bulky IMO. Also how hard/easy is it to take off? In case of the dreaded battery pulls for us rom flasher-compulsive types . LOL

It's great when applied to your belt. Very sturdy. I used a universal pouch before too, but this thing blows that out of the water. As far as taking it off, you can do so without even taking the shell off first. Just grab one corner and slide it back. Very easy, but putting it back on does require the soft touch case first then the shell. Doesn't take more than a few seconds though once you get the hang of it and the fit right.
Excellent review (pictures). Personally I love seidio and have used them on all my phones. Looking forward to getting this one.

I was contemplating on getting this one while waiting for Otterbox to release the Defender series on the Sensation.
Will probably get it and then the Otterbox one when it comes out to compare.
Got the same one and I love it. Good thing I have a holster cause the rubber parts is a lint magnet but wipes off easily. I love this case!

Are they coming out with a defender, pare? I thought just a commuter case, I'm not sure though.
*want* *checks pockets, finds lint* *cry*
I just bought this and since theres no "plastic finger" holding the silicone down on the top by the power button you cant put it back in the holster with one hand. The silicone bunches up so you need to use one hand to hold the clip open and one to put the phone in the holster. I still think its a nice setup but wish there was an extra finger on the top.
Nice review...Seidio has always been a fav!

After using it for a day or two it gets easy to do it all with one hand. Pull the clip up with your little fingers and push the phone in with your index and middle.

Great review, Does it add a lot of thickness to the phone compared to a TPU case?
Ended up ordering this case from ebay because of your review. Also because my brother has had the Active X version on his iPhone 4. He has dropped it more times than he can remember. The case has chipped where it hit and the Zagg was scratched but the iPhone is in pristine condition.
I am extremely pleased with case, Feels great, Sturdy and I feel like it could actually survive a drop now. The only thing I don't like too much is the silicone jacket attracts lint and dust a bit but it doesn't stick to it and I can brush it off or blow it off quite easily. So if you're looking for a case that will protect your investment you won't go wrong here. Doesn't add much bulk to the sleek Sensation 4G.
Overall a great case, With superior protection.
I have this combo as well except in blue. It is very nice but I must agree with the post about wishing it had a hard plastic section on the top front of the case to make it easier to "pop" it into the holster. Can it still be done with one hand? Yes, but not as easily and this has already caused a couple of near drops due to it not clicking in just right.
Overall I'm very pleased but I've also ordered the Trident case to see if that one doesn't have this issue (hopefully it'll fit in my Seidio holster too).
I had one of these on my Droid X and i must say they hold up. took several skips across the concrete. no damage of any kind. think i need to order for my sensation too. cause i'm a auto tech and i always be around dangerous things. great review

+1
I had one of these on my old Evo.The black soft cover is a huge lint/dirt magnet.I couldn't stand it,after about a week of use i threw it away.Frankly i loved everything else about this case, but the lint thing is a deal breaker for me.
i just ordered one off ebay, hopefully i like it. wanted it real bad actually, even though i pre-ordered an otter box case as well.

Ballistic SG Case Review

FORM
Goods
The case is black all around with a dot matrix pattern on the back. While showing my friends this case most noted the rugged appearance of the case, but they never called it ugly. I’ve scratched and clawed at all parts of this case and there is no hint of paint falling off or rubber disintegrating etc.
Bads
On the four corners of the phone there is a “B” for Ballistic. I personally don’t like this branding but you only see it if you try. It’s kind of like a pentile screen, looks good until you see it.
Also, along the edges of the case there is a seam from the manufacturing process. The seam is slightly elevated and takes away from the one-ness of the device.
A side note, the volume cutout covers the Beats audio branding if that makes any difference.
(One last point, obviously this case is not as beautiful as the One X, not even close. But we aren’t all Sir Jony Ive, are we now.)
FUNCTION
Goods
Most importantly, the thickness of this case works well to protect the camera lens. Before having this case, I always gingerly set my device down hoping not to scratch the portruding camera. Now with the case there are about 3 mm of buffer space between the glass of the camera and the surface you set it on. What does this all mean? It means I never have to worry about setting my device down.
I can’t say for sure about the shock resistance this case provides, but that is mainly because the material the case is made of very grippy materials. I’m pretty sure the protection offered by this case is similar to an Otterbox Commuter series case. The hard shell plus gel seems to be a winning formula in case design and it’s no different here.
Don’t worry about all of the bulk around the device hindering ports or cameras. Pictures look great with the case, LED flash still has wide angle, headphones plug in fine (Koss PortaPros!!!), and charging ports fit fine.
Also, when placing the phone glass down, the rubber on the case keeps the phone form sliding and leaves buffer space to prevent scratching that beautiful High-def display.
Bads
A major drawback because of this full body wrap-around case is the protrusion into the glass. It’s a little difficult to get fingers onto the sides of the screen, but still fully functional. I use all normal Google apps, play games, and of course, use the XDA app among others and haven’t ran into an issue getting to the sides and corners of the screen.
The volume rocker is slightly flush for my preference, but I suppose if it was more vertical the case would be even bigger, so I can see the compromise here. Definitely works like a volume rocker should.
Wrap-Up
What’s the verdict? This case is a total buy if you are looking for a protector case. It adds heft for sure, but not to the point where one hand use is impossible, it’s just not the most comfortable. But then again, without this case on, who would dare to hold this phone in just one hand. Ballistic has earned two thumbs up.
BTW. Hit THANKS if you like my work.
good review, still waiting for mine.
Ballistic plus SGP screen protector is as good as its gets with a dry protector. You don't see the screen protector edge at the bottom, barely see it on the sides, and small spot at the top
Decent review

Yeah, I ordered my screen protector, but it came a day too late. I accidently nicked my phone on a soda pop tab. Major Bummer. I'm planning on getting it switched at the ATT store, though.
Ya thanks man
Ya, so I got this case for my brothers HTC One X and I didn't how it covered the sides of the screen so i filed it down on the edges. I also didn't like that it covered the beats audio, so I dremeled out the hole. And I also debranded it with a file and some liquid rubber that I mixed with paint.

It sounds like that took more work and money than actually buying an unbranded better one lol

It's the XDA way.
Great review, I ordered mine form Amazon for 20.00, I also went on ahead and ordered the Otterbox Defender Case as well, I plan to sell whatever one I don't like on ebay.
Dropped my one x for the first time in the asphalt parking lot about chest level with the case on.... Thought it might be a goner cuz it sounded like it hit pretty hard but no damage at all +1 for protectiveness! It hit on one of the corners can't remember which lol but that's a good thing right?

That's good news!!! I haven't dropped my HOX yet (fingers crossed), but good to know its a good case.
Ok,
Got this case today and my review is that it will definitely keep my phone safe if my kid drops or throws it.
However, it takes a sleek looking phone and makes it look like a brick.
The extra rubber on the corners is unnecessary and detracts from the phone.
I am going to try and pick up the commuter and compare.
It also makes the phone feel bigger and heavier in my hand with the added bulk.
Oh and one more thing, if you have an L shaped connector on your headset your wire will stick out 90 degrees from the phone because the rubber is so thick that it stops the plug going into the jack.
I had to slice mine down a little in order for my jack to be parallel with the phone to easily put in and out of a pocket...definite MINUS.
I agree with everything you said. Tell me what you think of the Commuter when you get it.

Anyone using this phone naked?

I really want to use the phone without a case and just a tgsp.. But I am unsure how scratch resistant it is. I am about to receive a replacement phone from Google as my first had issues. What do you guys use?
Definitely get a screen protector. Just having it in my pockets caused many small screen scratches over time.
As for the phone itself, the beveled metal edges around the screen scratch and dent VERY easily. A slight accidental bump can permanently mess it up pretty badly. The back metal of the phone seems to hold up very nicely, though.
i have no screen protector or case and I wouldnt have it any other way. That being said the edges are a thinner metal then a coke can so it will nick easily
This phone is too slippery to use without a case imo. I use a Spigen Thin Fit to help with grip and I'm happy.
Always wrap your thing!
Using a slickwraps skin. It's much easier to hold without a case because it's less heavy and thinner (due to how long the phone is)
I'm using my phone absolutely naked, have insurance in case something happens to it in lieu of a case.

I feel the same way however I'd like to keep this phone looking good.. I've gone with the Rhino bumper which is thin, discreet and you can still feel the back of the phone..plus the protection is supposed to be amazing.
The only problem I have now is that the case looks good too so I want to protect that now lol.
30 dollars with shipping, I'm in the UK and it came in under a week. A great case.
All I have on my phone is a dbrand skin. Unfortunately, I had an issue where it dropped a short distance (6 to 12 inches) and landed on a corner and it knicked up that corner near the screen pretty good, but not enough to convince me to buy a case yet... lol Haven't had any problems with any screen scratches or any other cosmetic damages yet.

I'm in the UK too. Did you get any customs charges or anything? Was it straight from Rhino shields website? Cheers

Straight from the evo labs website. No restrictions. Here within a week. I did pay p&p but that's expected. About 4 quid I think.
One thing id like to say though, the rear clearance is not 100% the very centre of the back is slightly exposed, the bumper does not offer complete clearance when you push it against a flat surface.
If you don't know what I mean.
Take your phone and slide the back of it along the edge of a surface, say a mantelpiece or a shelf and whilst the start of the case is covered, towards the middle is not..
Not the end of the world but I'd have liked the clearance, ironically, tech 21 always offers this , something to consider.

Unfortunately, my N6P is my only camera at the moment. I'm sure most people wouldn't even notice the ding from a distance, but every time I run my finger along it, I cry a little inside.
Have a good one!
I have a glass screen protector, a Dbrand black carbon fiber skin for the glass panel on the back, and carry the phone around in a FitBag pouch.
This phone is the first where i must have a case for traction, its soo slippery and i want to hold it casually and treat it like a normal phone. I bet if i had it in my pocket it will just defy gravity and just fly out, would get a skin but seeing how easy it was to bend the bezel with my finger nail, i dont want break it in the first year,
I got one of these, the thinnest case i could find.i know it wont help in a fall but it will help against wear and tear

I've always rocked my phones naked. This time around I'm using a skin. Had a front back skin. Did drop it once too >_<. Thankfully it's just a small dent right above the camera visor. The skin on my phone is slippery so I ordered a more grippier one and took off the front skin because ambient display works better without it.
I have only a d brand frame for the camera.
I have glass screen protector and tried a clear thin case, but am back to no case..just the glass. No problems. I did add a little non-slip round piece to the back..it stays in my pocket just a little better, and totally stops it from sliding off a flat surface.
In and out of pocket all day, I am not real careful about keys or coins and no issues. I have done this with HTC M7,8,9 also with no problems. I hate hiding a good looking phone with an ugly case...and no case I have ever seen enhances the look.
Any one know of a transparant case that is compatible with slickwraps? Bought the galactic series but want some extra protection...
Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 6P met Tapatalk
I think it needs no protector. However,my wife bought an iPely screen protector from Amazon for me.I think it feels perfect. That's great.
