Let me clear some things up. Rodderik took the stock gingerbread source and (I think) worked with mkasick to add the keyboard fix. This is not his test kernel. In fact, I wouldn't have put this up if I knew he had a test kernel for cm7.
That being said, this is what it has:
ClockworkMod Redirector (mkasick)
ext4 (built into kernel, I added a whole 2 lines)
Voodoo Sound (supercurio, implemented with help of Tortel)
Kexec Support (mkasick, implemented with help of Tortel)
Framerate cap increased (Rodderik, implemented with help of Tortel)
Keyboard lag fix (mkasick)
Now, with Voodoo, the screech is back. Deal with it. Or use the one without voodoo.
I just threw this together...this isn't much. Just to keep people happy until cm7 becomes official.
As you can see, most of the stuff is from other people. This is just a collections of their stuff together.

Damn, I was really hoping this would enable Reboot to Recovery, looks like that's not a feature yet. Caused boot loops even after battery pull, had to do three finger boot to recovery and then use reboot system now option. Giving it a run though. thanks.

noticed same thing..however if u DO use the reboot to recovery feature in cm7, just hold down the 3 buttons once the phone shuts down. should reboot into recovery on the first or second try. no need for battery pull. and i know thats not how its supposed to work, but it does the trick.

GPS has always worked on our ROM, if your GPS is borked you just need to flash sense and clear your GPS then flash back, its a one time deal unless your a flashaholic... then you'll need to do it often...
i use our ROM daily and use GPS constantly.

neither.
Salvage is almost CM7, as they port most of all the features and then add in their own stuff (IMO) Not bashing them at all, there just allot closer to CM7 then most AOSP roms, we have maybe 5 features from CM we've ported, the rest is AOSP, or stuff we've built.

UPDATE: OK, after a hot reboot, the widgets were back .. but now battery appears always full. Is this the theme's fault?

Your not fully wiping before you flash OR you need to flash Gapps in a seperate recovery session

ok.......u need an APK or install the theme from the market.....theres a bunch....download the respective file and and the theme will appear in the theme chooser......make sure your current theme is set to the SYSTEM THEME...choose the theme u want and hit apply......reboot and your done

You will notice the battery itself is a rather stock looking circle battery... The special touch here was done to the charging animation... Its now totally complete and extremely smooth no matter at what point in your battery status you are charging from!
This is the first of many touches i will make to the G2X look... But its something i know a lot of folks like to have... So, have at it boys and girls...

I read the update and thought it was good to go but then read another Guys post and the reply and think there may be a mistake... the opening post states there's one for EB... IV confirmed it makes the SBar disapear. Thanks for your work! Much love to the dev's for pushing out cool stuff for us! Can't wait to see it working correctly!
P.s. is there a way to undo without having to apply my nandroid? Thanks!

This is the downside of pushing a mod for a rom i dont run... Sorry it didnt work!
You could make a flash zip with the stock framework... Just flash that rather then doing a nandroid... =)

i havent put the TW in there yet but i will tomorrow when i tweak some other stuff out so just wait to flash this till tomorrow unless you really wanna lol
also no need to worry about any folders the flash will overwrite everything and NO odin to stock is not needed

Should be compatible with everything except supercharger and to make that compatible you need to go into sysctl.conf /system/etc/sysctl.conf and change vm.oomkillallocatingtask to 0 then it will. Work with supercharger

Hi all, I've never had the opportunity to add a "booster" to a ROM. It doesn't appear that this will wipe any data or apps, so I won't have to set up my phone/recover Titanium backups and redo all my settings etc etc etc? Just want to know what kind of timeframe I will be devoting to this before I do it up. Thanks!
Nope the script doesn't touch your data just system files for tweaking you will be fine

Wow even better man! So would I have to rexalibrate the battery again or no? And I cannot wait for undervolting which will give even more battery performance though I am expected to return this phone back to T-Mobile for a better one. Still hope the best for the SGS4G developments and will keep checking back just hope will be amazing and friendly people on this forum like the other sections.

Can Lightning Zap be used with this booster?
About to try Valhalla Black for the first time after having some issues with Valhalla Final + Lightning Zap. I'm wondering if adding Lightning Zap to Valhalla Black + Booster will further enhance or just cause problems.
Error in build.prop?
dsexton702 , not to bust you out man, but I think I found a small error in the build.prop mod. Line 104 looks like this:

But shouldn't it have an = after 270 and look like this:

Lightning Zap will delete the init.d tweaks of the Booster. Booster tweaks will delete the init.d tweaks of Lightning Zap. With dsextons permssion, I am going to combine the two along with my updated Lightning Zap (almost OCd... almost...)
Make sure you Odin back to stock to remove those nasty gremlins like I told you or nothing is going to work correctly?

When using multiple tweaks just make sure the init.d files dont have the same tweak over and over again

MINOR UPDATE (5/14) Temporary link added; fixes LatinIME.apk (keyboard misspelled everything); adds temporary fix for UMS (mounts only internal storage.)
MAJOR UPDATE (5/13) WiFi is now working; mounts are correct (thanks MIUI SCottland); vibration is now properly working; to get themes to work make a folder called "theme" in /data/system; MIUI Scotland and I are working together to get this in better standing so, stay tuned!
UPDATE: In the next few days I will be attempting to get MIUI Scotland's attention to this project. I will also ask a few devs around here I know, for help. If any of those sources can not help me I will be forced to stop this project due to my up and coming graduation and future responsibilities.

Hey everyone!
I have managed to port MIUIv4 to our device and I am in need of some serious testers. This ROM was built using the fascinate's 2.5.4 (latest) official MIUI build, so you can expect it to be as vanilla MIUI as possible.
As of now this is what I know is not working:
1) Torch
2) Camera shows 5MP @ best.
3) Bluetooth - probably will never work in any CM9/AOSP based ROM.
4) USB/SD do not mount on a computer. (Temp. fix applied 5/14)
5) GPS - Any app that attempts to use it reboots the phone.
?) Can you find anything else?

I'm on Miui 2.4.17 now. If it loads I'll give it a try. I like Miui, always seem to work for me.

Good package, I'm almost 70 and it flashed easly for me.
Went from Miui 2.4.17 , then I did every thing on the list twice. Just a habit I have from earlier flash’s.
Instructions:
1) Flash jt1134's recovery - if you already haven't.
2) Wipe data/factory reset
3) Wipe dalvik cache
4) Format /system
5) Install ROM
6) Reboot
7) Test & Report
Pulled battery for first boot, it stuck at MIUI logo. Pulled battery for second boot it loaded without a problem. Nice looking launch screen too.

The above items are correct, and did the same on my Infuse. I can call and receive but the WIFI was missed. The build is on a good track and worth the time to flash. Looking forward to the next version.
I did get back to recovery from the three finger salute, for anyone that is worried about bricking their device.
The build is fast and fluid, good feel. Hope this helps

This would be the best rom if wifi hets fixed and the sdcards get swapped back (and mmaayybbe the torch cause of its integration into miui) but the wifi is the only killer that made me flash back to cm9...... Damn me and my noob skillz...... If only i could contribute
