[Q] Will Gingerbreak root 2.3.5?

Hi,
If S-off will gingerbreak root stock 2.3.5 or do you need to glad a pre-rooted version of 2.3.5?

yes but i suggest you to leave your phone stock....i screwed up my phone rooting it..

there is no Root for 20b, or 21B, will have to just patiently wait for someone to come up with a new way to Root.

V20 is good rom but i can't root it. Plz help me. thanks

Hello, how to root my galaxy s2? my kernel is XWLPG-CL619441, ANDROID IS ics 4.0.3
I tried to root it, i followed DooMLoRD's guide from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285894
My Root Cheker is showing that device is not rooted?
Should i try some other metod of rooting (and which?) or problem is somewhere else? please help, thanks

Hi Guys
Please help been trying for about a week now to root my s2 (orange branded)
i have tryied :-
gingerbreak.apk
1 click
Doomlord (got ADB drivers working no probs)
and followed the guide on xda with cwm.zip and busyboxinstaller.zip
and a few other .zip updates
with no luck
rooted last phone no problem...
so im guesing i need to break out odin but i get overload when it comes to the right download(dont want a doorstop)
Phone info:-
s2 I9100p
android version :- 2.1.6
baseband :- I9100PBKL2
kernal version :- [email protected]#2
build no. :- GINGERBREAD.BVKL2
WOULD SOME KIND SOUL POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION PLS

hello everyone i need some help with rooting if i have a unlocked galaxy note 3 from at&t i want to root it but i have a fear that it will relock and that i`ll have to unlock it again

Usually rooting does not relock your device. What android version your phone is on?

Here an app that can root it simply but doesn't install busybox.
You can use this advanced method, more reliable but needs more work

I have successfully (SUCCESSFULLY) rOOTED MY handset....with latest version of iROOT (English Version)..
