Hi
After recieving an OTA, my phone got stuck in recovery. However all it seems to do in recovery is "formating data. And if i try to reflash an entire rom in odin it stalls at userdata.img.
Also if i try fastboot erase userdata it stalls (nothing happens for a very long time).
I sucpect my internal memory may be fried, but before i take it to service i was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to repartition the entire internal memory system, as a last resort...?

I have exactly the same issue with you. This post is quite old. Have you found the way to fix it?

Hi guys, i got almost dead phone in mine hands and I really want to try to give it a new life.
I dont know all what was done to it before, but it was soft bricked, then few people tried to recover and bricked it even more, then in SC it was disassembled with no success, and now i have it.
What is working:
1. i can get here -

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. theres no recovery on phone, no at all, also all partitions are clean and broken, but i can boot cwm with "fastboot boot" command
3. from cwm i can get to root shell in busybox with "adb shell"
4. fdisk on /deb/block/mmcblk0 fails and nowhting happens
5. in recovery any action with internal memory fails with error that can't mount /deb/block/mmcblk0p** (** are numbers for different partitions)
6. flashing from bootloader with PG58IMG.zip hangs on writing and nothing happens
all internal partitions are broken somehow, they fail to mount, and can't be written on, is there ANYTHING that can be done?
Please help me guys
Anyway its bricked so try to flash 1.17 bootloader you r already S-off then try to unlock bootloader via htcdev. Then flash gingerbread RUU if it start working there is nothing wrong to try you won't loose anything because its already bricked.

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my samsung galaxy s7 g930fd , The phone is not loading and stuck on Samsung logo.
I can enter to recovery but I get failures, attached photo.
I can also get into download mode but it shows that phone is FRP lock on.
I tried with Odin to write stock rom and it successfully finished but still getting the failures.
Tried to fix with Kies and same result like Odin.
The phone is unrooted and I can't write other recovery.
The phone bought in Thailand and i don't have warrenty in my country.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ohad

I'm pretty sure it's because of that terrible screen protector.
Did you try factory reset?

Yes I tried through recovery to wipe the phone and I'm getting the efs error.
The screen protector it's not my fault you can blame niĺlkin ?
I got the same model G930FD and the same problem too, the phone collapse for itself and never able to boot into system again. I have tried everything, odin, smart switch and wipe data but nothing helps. The phone stucks at optimizing apps then infinite bootloop. My opinion is there is a problem about the latest firmware update
Hi, i recently got my xa screen shattered and i found another exactly same xa as mine but with signal problems (network not recognised and fails to make any calls, register to gsm)... becouse i bought it cheap and by the looks it's new XA i decided to revive it somehow, i tried to flash firmware newer and same version 33.2.A.4.70. Customization : RU but that didn't solve it. i then unlocked my bootloader, flashed boot and twrp recovery , booted in recovery and find out that some partitions is wiped. i believe this is the problem. im uploading pictures of partitions. can i somehow restore them? i mean i got 2 x fs3111 phones tho my shattered is with android 7 and locked bootloader, but if this is an issue i can solve and fix this phone i can downgrade to same version android 6, unlock, twrp it backup my partitions and restore it in phone that has wiped partitions, or maybe u can tell me better options? im uploading photos of wich partitions lost, take a look XX
AND i took its cover off and looks like it's new and no internal damage to components, i believe it's related to partitions somehow.... tho i'm not expert of android phones ... could that be? xx

Where are u from?, I believe the problem isnt with the partition, maybe the phone is reported by imei, so you have this particular problem, for now on, use the motherboard of your previous phone, to make it work.
Stuck on Fastboot mode after performing step 2 method 1 of johny's EDL repair guide here. After doing "open the ENG folder--open "0-update_image_EDL.bat"", the phone ends up in a boot loop dying on the green android screen and then boots into fastboot mode as seen here:

More background info:
Phone was a tencent version that was then bootloader unlocked and changed to WW firmware. Only read 64GB of storage so wanted to reflash proper firmware for 128GB storage. Ran through johnny's guide for the first time and everything went smoothly and phone booted and read 128GB. Only problem was battery was stuck at 100%. Once phone shut down from presumably 0% battery, it was plugged in and attempted to boot. Would be stuck in either a bootloop or I could get into fastboot. Once I was stuck in fastboot, decided to do johnny's guide again and it wouldn't get past step 2 into the OS that had the weird card with info on it. Now Im stuck on this fastboot mode. Trying to boot/start normally results in getting back to fastboot. Unplugging the cable shuts the phone down instantly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone please, I have had the same issue here for two weeks now...
You need to replace another battery with a battery capacity
