Everysince I upgraded to CM 7.1(awsome rom by the way), it resets the screen orientation to vertical. Alot of times I wish it to stay horizontal(like when it is on my desk). How can it be made where the home button won't reset the screen orientation?

Since updating to Frau Hottelmann's excellent bit of cooking I have an irritating issue with the menu: after using the slide-out keypad, when I slide it back in, in the home screen the (Titanium) menu is invisible until the backlight turns off. The menu when I use the keys again, it's just a nuisance having to wait for the backlight to turn off every time.
Many thanks in advance for your insights...
Try flashing again When i does not work, try another rom.
This is a regular WM6.5 bug. When your screen is off and you directly slide your phone open, the last screen will be 'forgotten'. This goes away when your screen goes back in stand-by.
The only solution is to first wake your screen (press a button) and then slide out your keyboard. Or don't use the sliding panels
Good luck!
Thanx guys
Rats! Hmmm.
Actually the screen isn't off, and it's the other way round: okay with keyboard out, menu missing when it slides back in - but maybe that's the same bug?
I'm otherwise very happy with 6.5 so I'll cross fingers that a bugfix comes along.
Funnily enough, since I posted, my Vox has started rebuilding the menu correctly again (no reboot). Let's see...
I have an unlocked Fuze using T-mobile. Upgraded to new HTC ROM 5.11.502.2 WWE. Bypassed AT&T bloat, reloaded all themes/fonts/icons/apps. Now when I slide out to use the hard keyboard and the screen goes to landscape, there are white blocks where the icons should be and also lower menu bar. Still can access programs if you know what you're touching. Then upon closing keyboard screen freezes on landscape, then when it returns to portrait the white blocks/missing icons from the landscape mode are still there. Pressing "home" gets no reaction, but once the device goes to sleep and you wake it up, TF3D today home screen is normal and all functions.
I am noob-ish, and don't have a screen shot app, but will find one if necessary.
Thanks!
Ok so I couldn't find anyone having the same issue in the Leedroid rom thread, so I figured I would ask here.
Does anyone elses screen freeze on the app drawer or home screens and only unfreezes when you pull the notification bar down?
I have tried turning the screen off and then back on and going into the app drawer changing the home screen (only freezes when I get to that point).
It doesn't happen all the time either. And it has been happening since the phone was stock and even now as it is rooted. I'm trying to say, I will press power button, slide lock ring, enter pattern, screen will show up, try to spin to another home screen but screen will not move, touch buttons work and volume works and power works but screen will not move. Press app drqwer and it opens but will not move either.....drag the notification bar down and everything works again.....
Hey everyone. I was looking around to try to find out how to get the Sense 4 home screens (and lock screen) to rotate and, while failing to find a setting to do it, found this.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.rotationlocker
When you launch the app, long press "Auto" and it will run a background service to auto rotate the screen. Note that hitting "Landscape" made it rotate so the bottom of the screen faced the volume keys and would not rotate the other way (at least that's how it is for me).
I've tried to rearrange my on screen buttons on stock cm11 but every time the screen goes of they go back to default. Does anyone know of a solution?
