I am on 4.0.0.9 and every single rom I try to install, I get stuck on this screen:

I have tried clearing the cache and wiping the data before installing the roms, I have tried 3 so far and have tried redownloading all of them.
I have tried reflashing CWM, I have exhausted all means that I know of. I was running tasteless venom just fine until I decided to try flashing a newer rom, and it has been hanging here for hours without any signs of booting.
I'm stumped, any ideas?
I get this too occasionally, all my nandroids do this. Let me tell you how fun it is to have to re-set up the entire phone after each different ROM I flash.

Did you clear the system partition in mounts and storage before flashing a new rom?
Did you flash the correct kernel? Did you flash any kernel at all?
Well this is an easy fix. Get the official cwm. I'm surprised no1 told you yet. The real cwm is 5.0.2.7 I think. Update with rom manager to the latest recovery

i haven't had any problem at all flashing ROMs with that version of CWM. plus, if you can't boot into any ROM you won't be able to use Rom Manager.
i might suggest checking that your system is mounted both before flashing the ROM, and before rebooting. i believe that would be found in 'Mounts and Storage' in recovery, and you would want it to say 'unmount' next to system, meaning that it is mounted. in some cases when you need to do that, you will have the problem you're having if you forget to check. good luck
Learn how to use adb to install the latest official cmw and you will unbrick your phone.

I normally am a knowledgeable Guy, and don't normally ask for help, but here I am, asking for help.
Today, I rooted my phone and put miui on it, from there I decided to go to WeaponG2x and here's what I get when I boot into CWM.

Did you wipe data/ factory reset, wipe cache and dalv. before flashing rom? Did you do a back up before any of that? I would try restoring backup first (if you have one).

i would suggest clear cache and factory reset then reload the zip/rom.
People need to be reminded of this thread below. If you are switching between different roms you must wipe, wipe, wipe everything or you will have boot issues.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275165
Once you get those errors its time you nvflash rom for recovery in dev section. Luckily our devices are damn near unbrickable with that resource, I remember hearing some horror stories about this recovery errror back on the mt4g section, unfortunately that phone doesn't have the same saving Tom 4 recovery thru nvflash as our phones do!

Thanks for the help guys. Yes I did wipe everything before flashing anything. It didn't let me do anything, couldn't wipe anything, couldn't restore any backups of mine.
I found out that my SD card fried and I couldn't format it.

Fellas, can I please get some help
I have been trying to install the 4.0.4 on my rooted and unlocked boot loader on my samsung galaxy nexus. Mainly because I want to see if the volume and signal are better. I have clockwork Mod Touch installed version 5.8.0.2 and also downloaded the tool kit by:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1400871
My drivers on my CPU correctly but I keep on getting this and it wont install anything. Ii did not want to install a new ROM but after so many errors I backed up my Stock 4.0.2 just to make sure and tried to load Gummy and that gave the same error. (I dont want the Gummy ROM) I just want the 4.0.4 here is a screen shot of the error message it is showing me. Guys, Thanks for your help in advance.

For one, it looks like the file isn't signed. Toggle signature verification off if you have the option (I don't know if CWM has the option, I don't use it).
There's something else that is going wrong, but I'm not quite sure what. Try reflashing the recovery. If that doesn't help, backup the SD card, format it, and try again.
So do u think I should delete clockwork mod apps and delete files from SD card then reinstall?

I got it now folks....thanks I now have a huge signal boost difference.

I know how to install a custom Rom but for some reason last night whenever I tried to flash a new rom, I kept getting an error in recovery saying something like this
" E:/ "filename" could not find " or something like that
Then it said Installation aborted.
This happened every time whether it was a rom or a tweak package. Its not my SD card because I tried two different ones. Is it my phone or the clockwork recovery?
Go to www.4ext.net download, install (choose the touch version from within the app) and report.

If you can't then you may need to find a different way to flashing a new recovery to see if that works. The hack kit has the option to only flash a recovery.
You could also flash a ruu as last option.

Wait. Are you s-off or not?

Hello,
few minutes ago i flashed XtreStoLite Deo-Mod Edition. Had no problems, everything is smooth and working. but let me ask one question.
is it normal that it takes the same volume as the old "default" samsung one? im mean i am almost hitting the 7 gb just for system. (really nasty at 32 gb version^^)
have i done something wrong or maybe its because of the deodexed rom?
thanks

edit:
i already wiped (still the same result):
Dalvik Cache
Chache
System
Data
after some research i found this: androidcentral.com/bloatware-galaxy-s-6-sucks-not-reasons-many-think
after reading that article i proberly understanding my problem. seems like its not possible to use that system storage for other apps/data even if you rooted and on a custom kernel?
With every of my apps installed I have 25 GB left on the sdcard. But the naked fresh installation of the deodex version should use way less memory.
you can try clean install of that rom..

by cleaninstall you mean formating e.g in twrp?
because i already wiped: Dalvik Cache, System, Data and Cache.
did it once again, still the same result.

Does not matter. In order to get more space from /system you need to repartition the whole emmc and there is no custom PIT file for it yet. So that space is currently reserved no matter what ROM you install.
So I was installing a rom with aroma installer and I choose clean install, so it was installing and it stopped for more than five min. So I decided to take out the battery and try flashing again but, now if I flash it cannot mount the system or anything only the SD card. Please how can I fix this.

what recovery do you have?
are you on S-ON or S-OFF?
which rom did you try to flash?
edit: if the mods can move this thread it is in the wrong section

As far as I know, that's a superbrick on the MMC for /data. If you want to get around the newfound hardware damage, you'll need the SD-EXT boot mod that's modified for a damaged internal partition.
probably is what Harakhti said
if you used any wipe option from twrp then you have the false twrp
Thanks the boot mod finally got me to flash a Rom but now when the phone is booting it restarts
