Has anyone tried this launcher by Team Syndicate in the market yet? It runs ok, but still has a few bugs.
Yes just as you said. Runs but buggy. I had it on for a couple of hours for a hoot and then uninstalled it. The bugs even caused problems when my other launcher was active.
ive actually been using it for over a week now.AND I LOVEEEEE IT!! I feel with all the CM features and the look and feel that i am already running ICS . I just was notified to udate it thru the market. Maybe they fixed some of those bugs yo were talking about. ^^^^^^^^^^.
Cool, I'll check it out, thankx.
Uninstalled. Im finding a good ICS CM7 theme and ADW is working together perfectly. Looks legit.

Transformer - 3.2 Revolver OC/UV
I just installed a ICS ADW theme. That along with the CM7 theme chooser theme and Roboto makes the phone look exactly like ICS.

I just changed it manually. The icons are there they just don't automatically change.

All of the ICS launchers I tried included the on-screen back, home, and task button.... which I don't want or need.
I use Sonny's ICS CM7 theme from the market and stock CM7 ADW. The theme also themes ADW and icons so it looks legit. I still use the stock fonts. Happy so far.

Correct. There are actually several GB launchers on the market. I use the one by Eugene because it is almost pure stock GB launcher. The other ones have modified app drawers and other things. The only mod I've seen in the Eugene version is the notifications icon in the options menu. It's a smiley face instead of a slightly square balloon.
There is also a Honeycomb launcher available.
I'm currently on Trip's MiUI, and I really can't get myself out of it, but at the same time I really want to go back to CM7.
Are there any amazing themes for CM7 + ADWEX that would compare to the theming that MiUI has? I'm running NEON (Blue) right now. Also, I really love the custom lockscreen's that MiUI has, anything comparable using CM7 + ADWEX?
widget locker which isnt free, but worth the price you pay for the lockscreen
and if you like the miui launcher, theres one on the android app thread
I went back to CM7 last night. I got WidgetLocker, and I'm trying to figure out how to get those custom icons on the lockscreen. I wanted a minimalist approach to it. I want a similar lockscreen to the MiUI one where it's a wheel and you just drag the centre to the app icons. I don't think that can be done on WidgetLocker though.
I have the miui theme on my widget locker. You have to go to the XDA thread for widget locker

Desktop vizualizer makes icfons at half size, with no way to fix as far as i can tell, i've told them but have gotten no reply.
folder organizer items work, but it places the shortcuts as a widget instead of a shortcut like it did in honeycomb.
so right now i have no way to add normal shortcuts to my homescreen with a custom icon.
does anyone have any apps that work properly?
I used adw for my custom shortcuts

not really a lot of help. i'm not asking for a custom launcher. ICS launcher is just fine. i just want to be able to actually make custom icons like i could in honeycomb.
i find it really hard to believe that no one running this tablet on ICS with a stock launcher is using custom icons. come on.

Have you tried Nova Launcher? Its basically the Stock Launcher, but allows for editing/resizing Icons and Widgets. Plus, you can install Icon packs for ADW and manually assign Icons of your choice to whatever you want...then resize them if you want.
Nova has a free version, and a Prime version with a few extra fun features. Both are in the Market.
yeah i've tried nova and the others, and personally i don't like/want to use them. i find the stock launcher just fine.
i'm just annoyed because for the first time in android history, i can't make custom icons work right. and i'm just shocked that it seems that no one else here is using custom icons on a stock launcher.
there are some ics roms out there already? are you rooted?

So you seem to be stuck on using the Stock launcher.
Well if you had tried Nova as you said, then I got to know, what about Nova didn't you like? I mean, Nova is basically stock from the look, and it adds the ability to use custom icons or ones from an icon pack, and allows you to resize them...which is what you are complaining about.
So, what is it about needing/wanting to use stock launcher, when Nova is stock with a few added features, one of which is using custom icons.
i don't have my TF rooted, so i lose the widgets menu, it doesn't have the tablet transitions, app drawer is 5x5 instead of 8x5. and to be honest, it's not as smooth as the stock ics launcher for me.
and honestly, i'm just still in a shock that apparently everyone is just using nova or adw.
i refuse to believe that i am the only person on this forum with an ICS transformer that is using the stock launcher with custom icons. that cannot be possible.
Is it only me or is it an issue with ICS on skyrocket. On all the ROMs I tried all giving the same issue.
The window size for most of the context menu options ( e.g. trying to add Widgets) is very small compared to the original I see on GB.
I am using ICS on my KindleFire also, and don't see this issue there.
So this seems something related to ICS and Skyrocket.
Anyone else to confirm this?
Is it a launcher issue? I have the ported SG3 TouchwizUX and stock Touchwiz loaded on ucle2. Add widget menus looks like this...

Personally I'm running the Apex launcher and I absolutely love it. By far my favorite launcher from speed to customization to down right sexiness. Here's what the widget menus look like, as well as my apollo widget made resizable by Apex (Sorry for the watermark)

Should probably also state I'm running CM9-6/20 Nightly on UCLE2
Its not only the Adding Widget Screen, its everywhere.
See the screen from Poker Deluxe Game.
The window is clipped.
Could not find a solution for this issue, moved back to GB 2.3.6
Hi,
I've never been into changing launchers as I've heard that it has a negative effect on battery life. What I really want is to get is the something thats as light as vanilla ICS on the galaxy Nexus. What launcher/theme can do this, without having an effect on battery?
Hi mate, are you using a Samsung ROM? Because obviously they have TouchWiz and all of Samsung's style all over them (not for me AT ALL). The closest you can get to vanilla ICS is an AOSP ROM (CM9 or similar) and using the stock theme and launcher (varies from ROM to ROM, its usually Trebuchet though).
I'm personally using Staxx's latest PARANOIDANDROID build, with the ICS Fixer theme (free on the market) and Apex launcher with the stock launcher frozen via Titanium Backup. No battery drain whatsoever from Apex and the ICS Fixer theme just uses the stock Ice Cream Sandwich theme with everything (pop-ups, menus, progress bars etc.) themed to suit Android 4.0. Looks great + has fantastic battery life in my opinion
Hope that helps you out.

Nova Launcher and Apex are good, but only if you are willing/able to pay for them as without the upgrade they can't even show you unread notifications (something that for me is a must within any launcher).
