Sadly with skin's release from the scene , there is no CWM support for this.
I just need to know one thing...

Maybe if you send normalboot.img, Skin can still release proper cwm. Does he need i9003 for cwm?

He can of course. He is the one who supported almost all fw here with fully working CWM.

I've flashed the rom, however the first boot installer is missing ..
I can't install market or gmail because the phone can't create an account.
How to fix this .. ?
The touch-interface works flawless b.t.w. .. The best I've seen till now.

Hey, dude. It's called harmonious society in China, where Google stuff is blocked and removed for good.
So if you need google services, copy them to /system/app by yourself.

I have the leaked froyo on my captivate and also rooted(removed all att bloatware) it as per the numerous posts on xda.
All the data on the sd card is intact , but once I open the gallery , it takes a while and says no items.
Have tried various methods but no luck! All files are available through the my files application.
Individual files open when I click on them. But then I cannot move to the next file.
Can anyone help me out. Thanx!

I had the same problem on shep's rom, but I flashed to cognition and am good to go now. maybe you just need to reflash?

A friend of mine has an Epic and just ran into the same problem. The difference is that he is still running stock. Makes me think your problem is not a Froyo issue. If you find a solution for this then please post an update.
After reanabling media-scanning, my gallery showed pics again.

Sure that you don't have the sdcard mounted? (i.e. to your computer..) Or that your phone "thinks" it is mounted when it isnt?
Have you tried having it mount to your computer then disabling it (plug in your usb.. have it show the folder.. then unmount your sdcard and turn off the media in your phone).
Also of course... reboot the phone and pull the battery.
But if all that doesnt work if your using the leaked froyo - odn back to stock and get on Cognition's froyo build. (8.1)

Using clean (from another forum link in xda) for the last 3 days and no issues encountered except for the usual click sound during call....
When on call a message or mail arrives, there is a click Sound (arghhhh...)
GPS works fine with faster fix...Got connection in 10 sec
Anyone able to resolve the click sound issue?
Bad things: No thinksoft office, youtube, layar and couple of apps that i like. Had to push them into system/app
I prefer JPL over JPF...Much better thab JPF but my quadrant score was 350 sumthin without lagfix....
Edit 1: Massive lag while using GPS...even after lagfix

I'm not the OP, but I deodexed yesterday with Auto-Deodexer/ROM builder 2.5.6.2. Make sure to edit the mount points to the correct ones for our G3.
Can someone upload the recent call widget? I accidentally deleted it.

Had that same concern, DL'ed and installed it on Froyo (rom info in sig), works like a charm
btw, thank you soo much for uploading this .apk! This was one of my favorite apps in 2.1 and I wondered why devs didn't implement it in their 2.2 ROMs.
I've made some changes like Black & transparent looks....if you want that i can upload the same.....

In Root explorer you can fix the permission Or in xRecovery you can fix the permission for whole system...

installl as a normak apk and then go to settings->manage applications and search for play store and then delete wipe cache and data! and then open the play store
If you want to make purchases from the market, then you need to use the marketunlocker which is available free in the market...download it and select T-Mobile USA to spoof the market and then you can make purchases

there is a posibilty that, your custom ROM dev might have taken this app and included in the ROM...next is, first try to see when i started this thread...this thread has been started on the day the jelly bean SDK is released...now almost all the dev including this in there custom ROM, hence there is no point of same flashing again for which you should not criticise us...if you dont like it , just go out of the thread....
anyways google officialy rolling out this version in a day or two

Seems ok. Big difference I notice right away is the settings menu is reduced drastically. Also the flash doesn't automatically remove the old camera so you have two cameras and two galleries.

thank you for this great mod - there ist just a major problem for me:
everytime I finish the sphere (when my phone renders it) it just states (after the progress bar reached its end) "gallerie has been terminated".
Sometimes a "bad" panorama-pic (low resolution, bad quality (nothing in common with the "spheres" or the ultra-wide panoramas) resides in my gallery but nothing else.
So anyone has an appropriate solution for me?
I don't know if this is the exact term for the error-note, my rom-language is german
I'm currently using Kangs CM10.1 (4.2.1), on Kangs CM10 (4.1.2) same error.

Changing system language to english solved it, but this is not a good solution, where does this problem come from and how can it be fixed?
